I think those names would go over a bit easier. I'm not sure what the character limit is, but either one ought to be short enough. There are items like the AA Saturday Spin Bleach Dyed Hair, High Functioning Sociopath Curls, Keeper of the Forest Companion, Super Messy Ultimate Auburn Wig and Deceptively Cute Puppy Companion.

@DIESELPUNK Yeah, I've resubmitted it as an exoskeleton, next is calling it something like a sleeve or glove. @iseult @Shalashaska I resubmitted the arm as an exoskeleton, with no changes to the art. Ah, I really thought it must be a matter of the name...
 This rule seems pretty ambiguous and is probably my least favorite of all the rules for CWs.I hope you can find a way to get it in! Even if it's not something I'd personally use, I'm interested in seeing how this plays out.

Damn it, well keep the current name. I'll remove the wires from the CI and add in a gap at the elbow and make the shoulder look more like armor =S well, tomorrow I will anyway =_0 Just for the record: this is a stupid rule. I can understand items that change the /position/ of the arms/legs but this is just dumb. There is no good reason for it that I can see.

And I completely agree. I think this shouldn't effect glove / sleeve like items. I thought it was for arm position changes as well.

@Sleeb I know how you feel, I went through hell with getting the    accepted XD were you privy to that thread I made about it?I'll get the edits done asap. Well actually I'm going to take my boots off first and put my new paints away but THEN asap. @Mels I can't even see how it should be counted, I mean doesn't ANYTHING then constitute an HA body change? How do they determine wig replacing hair = acceptable, mechanical arm replacing normal arm =/= acceptable? Like I've never understood why we can't have eyes/lips =S We're also told we can't have skins, presumably so we can't cover up our zombie bones... but then I was allowed the item I just mentioned to Sleeb, which is /blatantly/ designed to stand in front of the HA as a substitute 0.o or at least I'd have said it was, I left enough of the HA showing so it /could/ be used with it, maybe that's why it was accepted, idk *shrug* but if the WereDragTaur can go through, why not an arm? I wish I knew who to ping to get a straight answer from about this, I'm not angry really, I'm just confused. Last Edit by:

@Sleeb Made it slightly bulkier so it actually looks like it covers the arm in a 3D fashion. Contacting Luxe about this, hopefully we'll get a bit more insight on this. The reasons why we can't create skins for HAs or create items which change the position of the HA base are fairly obvious, but why is an exoskeleton arm/gauntlet being denied on this basis: Quote: Your custom clothing Cybernetic Replacement Arm was denied for the following reason(s): The image does not change the shape of the HA base, and we can't see how a mechanical gauntlet is any different from a glove or sleeve etc...  @Shalashaska et al: The rule isn't in place to prevent limb movement though, which I believe might be your misconception. This Cybernetic Replacement Arm is clearly a limb replacement regardless of position, and that is something we are disallowing across the board right now. I can't really articulate why it's different from a glove/sleeve/gauntlet other than because it's not a glove, sleeve or gauntlet. This is along the same lines as the  ,  ,  , and  .That's not to say that we definitely won't allow them in the future, but as of right now and the way the rules are written base alterations of any kind are not permitted. Thanks for getting back to us =) I was starting to suspect that might be the case. Any idea why? Or was it just that when the rules were written there was ambivalence over how rules surrounding limb replacement might work, so it was banned completely until a later date, when rules on them could be defined?
