I liked the full ha's on the news page. I think the boxes on the side make things look cluttered but they aren't too bad.

 ♥ I am not a fan of the headshots. I mean, after a while I know how the staff avatars look like, but it was always cool to see when a new set has been released or when NPCs posted things about the plot. I enjoyed their outfits. And now they will be rather... lost. :c   |

 Since the update my iphone layout is ruined, my sidebar moved to the bottom, underneed the news page. The page itself is cluttered.  Edit: And everyone saying, don't fix what isn't broken. I put lots of money into two google adword campaigns to recruit people for subeta. I know how to make them, so the campaigns being rubbish isn't really the problem. But to take the test I'll do another campaign soon. 340 people clicked through to subeta. 13 of those 340 got past the login fase. 2 out of 13 managed to make a pet 0 out of 13 managed to make 10k money none returned. Things NEED to change. Because there is obviously a reason new members don't stay. The news page is the center of the site, it is important to improve it. Edit: On topic of the change of the news page for the normal site (so not the mobile one) There are some alingment issues, the "cs giveaway" isn't aligned the same as recycle beast, and the potion lottery. Pet spotlight isn't aligned the same either, how about make it the same as potion lottery? a general image and the name of the winner next to it? Last Edit by:

I don't have OCD and I seriously want the news posts centered. I wince now every time that the new news bar pops up. I don't want to look at the news page! I'll echo those who don't like it either, way too cluttered now. I don''t care about the recycle/potion posts so them being gone doesn't bother me. I don't care about the pet spotlight either so I really don't like that being on the side.
Thank you firefox add-on that lets me nuke whatever I want. Now I just need to figure out how to recenter the news posts. Remember, pillage first then burn. |

oh no. I don't care for it at all. The news page looks off balanced now! I don't like it one bit. I liked it better when any special links were in the center top of the page. Although I do think its a nice idea to take the recycle beast and potion lottery out of the news, it would look LOADS better if it were centered like before, with those links at the top of the page.

 I have no clue but I hope someone figures it out soon. Mine looks like the iPhone screen shot above. It's terrible and I don't even wish to view the news page anymore. May make the homepage for Subeta my inventory to avoid it. Well minus the fact that the what's happening bar is actually on the side not stretched.  Last Edit by:

Considering I really hate the look of the News layout currently. It looks unfinished and really unpleasing x.x That's why I did my revision in hopes they -may- consider it  I'm Soooooooooo happy I can't stop wiggling!!!! |

I hope so. I cringe too every time I got there and quite frankly there wasn't anything wrong with the old look. It was nice, clean, and simple to me I'm Soooooooooo happy I can't stop wiggling!!!! |

 I really, really hate the layout. I don't really see what the problem was before with it, and it just seems, like people have said, that it's just another thing that didn't need fixing.It's unnecessary and cluttered and I cringe looking at it.

 I've got to say I really am not a fan of this new layout. I wouldn't mind having the icons, but instead at the top like they used to be during events and such. Over to the side like this just looks...unfinished. Like the coding got smashed up and things aren't in the right places. Nothing is overlapping for me or anything, it just...doesn't look nice and clean like it used to.

 @Keith Are there any plans on improving this layout to work on smaller resolution/screens/laptops/tablets? On my phone I can't even read the news anymore since the boxes cover everything and push everything over and it just isn't functional in the slightest. Other people are in the same boat. Also, it bugs me that the whole box area turns grey when you hover over it, but you have to actually click on the picture to follow the link. Why can't the whole thing be the link?

The new layout for 'currently happening' on the newsfeed page is horrible looking! It's a step back from the way it was. It was fine the way it was. It looks cluttered and out of place.

art by  I agree that the dailies might look better on the other side of the page, but aside from that detail, I'm okay with the new look. Took a bit of getting used to, but having the dailies visible like that is useful.

I do like Chennella suggestion for putting the text under the icons. I might try to do some other revamp version but I don't even know if the staff is looking at this topic any moreEdit:  I tried to add what I think they will do with the Pet Spotlight... sadly that would make it go below the scroll line with the suggestion of having the text under the images for the dailies and such.... I'm going to see how it will do with the text on the side... Remember I'm only taking a guess with the spotlight Edit:  Only difference with this one is where the images are with the text... kind of like my first revision actually I'm Soooooooooo happy I can't stop wiggling!!!!Last Edit by:

Another idea if would be.. Can the staff >HA show up on the left of the news post. That might make a big difference to help with everything feel centered. So to clarify, to have the staff icons on left, then news and then the happenings down the right. Last Edit by:

I personally use the RB each day (unless I forget, of course...), so not having to scroll for it on a day with a lot of news post is handy. However, that's just needed once a day - that justifies an extra link? Plus I don't see, why it has to be on the side as opposed to on top of the page? If I have a very narrow window, my most annoying nemesis, the vertical bar, as usually gets in the way covering it up, or those button links vanish behind the news entries. Not really necessary to have dozens of links to each feature. Last Edit by:
