I apologize if this has been posted already, but I checked the other forum and didn't see anything. Please excuse me for being blind and dumb if it has been posted. XD

But when I go to the News page, it's...all messed up. The 'currently happening' section is all squished off to the one side and the images of the person posting the news is above the post instead of on the side...

screenshot

I don't use custom css, my resolution is 1024x768, I use XP/Firefox...

It's also like that on mine. I also don't use custom css and my screen resolution is 1024x768. I use XP & Firefox 12.0.

It's not a bug, it's a "feature." And not even a decently beta-tested one, at that.

Apparently, someone thinks that the new updates look more "professional," despite the fact that the new layout is sloppy, disorganized, hideous, and flat-out doesn't work with at least one platform (mobile devices.) But getting it changed back to something approaching "functional" would be like pulling teeth, so... I guess it's custom CSS to the rescue.

@Saren I don't think that we've said that at all. I made multiple changes the night it came out, and we've continued making changes for people with smaller screens.

We are working on a mobile-only layout that doesn't suck, which will make pages like the news responsive (aka: scale automatically) with the resolution that you are viewing it from. Subeta is not made for a primarily mobile viewing experience, though,

@Keith
Any reason the currently happening stuff is all cut off on our screens though? I'm not running mobile, I'm on my 15.5inch computer, not like a netbook or something small.

@Kyradriel
Is it still showing up as being squished over to the side?

Mine are on the side as well, but a little smaller..and then there is a big gap with the head shot of who ever posted it. This layout just doesn't make sense to me. Is it suppose to be like this? I don't use custom css either.

{ subeta dev - coding tutorials }

Mine's the exact same and has been that way since it came out. Kind of sucks that it's still broken like that. I have custom CSS making my #content area 800 pixels wide. But Subeta's layout is supposed to be fluid so really, it should work no matter what, shouldn't it? Screenshot
