I am officially SAD. I just watched the complete series of Firefly. I wish they had made more episodes D<
Oh well. I still have the movie to watch. Anyone else like this show and if so what character do you like? I like everyone but I don't know if I could choose.. Maybe Mal. Book is awesome too..

@ Oh, I've seen Firefly! I just watched the series a couple of weeks ago, too. I can't decide between Wash or Simon as my favorite characters. Probably Wash just because he's so weird and funny. Overall, I really like all the characters, except maybe Jayne. Argh, that traitor. DX Anyway, if you haven't watched the movie yet, you really should. It's a good conclusion to a great series.

Firefly is my number one of all time favorite show and nothing will surpass it in my eyes. Maybe it just didn't have time to let me down, maybe not, but I still hold those characters are some of my favorites of all time and I will never forget them. Mal is my favorite character though I probably have the most in common with Kaylee.

And Badger will always have a place in my heart, because Mark Sheppard. <3

Shiny! I was introduced to Firefly by a friend at my university the year before last. c: It's too amazing. As for a favorite character... Probably Kaylee or Jayne.

I love Firefly, I am so pissed it got cancelled so soon. Its because Fox aired the episodes out of order, thus confusing people. Poor Joss.... He had the worst luck with networks.

I cannot begin to voice my love for this show. i first watched it in like 3rd grade, and as a youngster i would go to all my friends quoting it, and they having no idea what i was talking about. it has gotten better now that all the episodes and the movie have been put on netflix, but it is still a big subculture. as for favorite characters i would go with the tams, wash, or saffron/bridget. though i really just love them all. and incidently the only reason i have any respect what so ever for zac effron is his minute long stint as simon. (oh and avpm of course!) stopping my fingers from talking now, before all of you are bored to tears...................

Yeah since the show canceled I started watching Castle with my friend since the captain is the main character in Castle. The show is hilarious.

I just finished watching the series and film about a week ago, and ugh... So sad that there's no more. It was a great show, I had very few issues with it and none of them were significant. They had such a great cast, and decent plot... Why did they cancel something so well done? ;_;

I learned about the series throughmy Dad because a very big sci-fi nerd and was always telling me about the show. I always wanted to watch it, but i didn't have anywhere to watch it. Then i got Netflix and found it. Most incredible series i have ever seen. I loved watching the characters grow and learn to really care for each other. The humor was fantastic and the plot involving River was very well thought out. I do wish that the series could have gone on longer, but it's still one of the best. :] i even bought the DVD of all the episodes and movie because i loved it so much. :] Firefly is having a reunion at Comic-Con this year as well! The whole cast and i believe JJ Abrams will be there too!

So awesome! I want to go, but i have no money. :] just wanted to share that with you guys. :]

Found it on Netflix last summer, gave it a try and fell in love. I'm already rewatching it now, for the feels.

It's definitely a great series, it's introduced me to Joss Whedon's works, and of course Nathan Fillion in all his awesomeness. I've also discovered that all my favourite actors/celebrities all know each other pretty well and it's kind of awesome.

Rescue me, Chin Boy

When I first heard about it and how many main characters there were, I was very reluctant. Then I found the complete series on Hulu. Within five minutes, I fell in love. It's very difficult to produce a good series with nine main characters. Well, ten, really. Serenity was and always will be a character for me. It has all of Joss's trademarks, but manages to differentiate itself very neatly from everything else he's done. And the cast is absolutely fantastic. Individually, they are great. Together, they make magic. If Fox wasn't full of morons, I think it could have gone four or five seasons no question. There were so many stories that were never told, so many paths that were never taken.

And I love how the cast loved the series so much, and were so upset when they found out it was cancelled. In the behind-the-scenes featurette for Dr. Horrible, Nathan Fillion said that Joss called him during the writer's strike, and before he could even get a word out, Nathan said "whatever it is, my answer is yes." There are a ton of Firefly references in Castle, there was a bunch in Chuck, and I'm sure there's a bunch more in a bunch of other stuff. I started calling things shiny cuz of this bloody show.
