I think it would be very nice to be able to take a selectable amount of sp out of my till instead of collecting all of it. I am trying to keep my till growing until it hit 1billion, but sometimes I could use a sum of pocket change and wish I could take out a few thousand or a few million if I needed it, without my til going back to 0sp. Would this be hard to code or anything? You would think it could be just like the bank when you want to make a withdrawal?

I think the reason it's like that might be because of the achievements associated with the till. It's not that much work if you can keep taking out a couple million at a time. The top tier for that is a billion sP, which would be pretty easy to get to if you could keep talking out a little of what you've made but it must be very difficult to just let it all sit there and accumulate.

Oops I also wanted to add the vault is more like our bank the shop is different

You didn't understand what I was saying, I want to keep the money in shop til, working towards achievements, but saying I would like the till to work like the function in the bank where I could take a selected amount from the till instead of collecting it all.

There are achievements for having a certain amount of money in your shop till, which is one of the reasons that you can't partially take money out, it would make the achievements really easy.

If you want to be able to do that open up a separate shop that you can clear the till.

You can just use another shop to sell things for pocket change. Also, the highest achievement tier for the shop till is 250M.

Oh, I thought that the highest was 1 billion? Or is that for the total the shop has made ever?

The achievement page says that the highest tier for the shop till achievement is 250M. It is the making a living achievement that goes up to 1B. They are two different achievements.

Oh shoot I screwed up which one did which, sorry. For some reason I thought the shop till was the total sP made and the make a living was the one where you would need to keep the sP in

This has been suggested before, and shot down by Keith personally. It's not supposed to be a bank, and the achievement isn't supposed to be that easy.

What I did was have a shop specifically for the achievement that I didn't touch the till, and then another shop where I made some sP for normal site activities.

So I can take out my 475 million and still get the title billionaire when my shop has sold 1 billion total without having to actually have the billion in the till?
And that makes sense to have another shop, I will turn my junk gallery into a shop! Thanks everyone.

The 1B making a living achievement isn't about how much sP you have in your till, but rather how much sP worth of stuff your shop has sold. You can withdraw your 475M and not have to worry as the highest tier achievement for how much you have in your shop till is 250M. The only reason for why I would try to get 1B in the till would be to show as a screenshot for bragging rights.
