Its better then before, I give you that, the treasure chest slots being left off irks me. They should be with the stats.
And still no link directly to the pet page is bothersome and cumbersome too. I DO like having the books and food right there on the drop down. I do like the link to the training center, healer and ya, the info in the drop down is great now. Just the two things that really annoying me. The page really does need borders or something around the pets, they look so.... floating in nothing. Frenzy. Slow down! |

@Shalashaska I had a Black PC, it's supposed to max happiness. Let's see how that works... (out of character though, might be a bad idea) Anyway, has anyone noticed how, if you have multiple pets, the first two (first row) are very close to the sidebar while remaining rows have more padding? I went to give Shally a Hydrus Bath Duck, but checked his happiness first, it was maxed out again =| they all are bar those w/out minions... I've given them all minions now, I hate seeing that red/empty bar. That is strange. I have Swapnil and Manco as my top two and I thought it might be because Manco has the active sign next to him... No?

I don't mind the bars, but I wish the default ones weren't so huge =S it's the lack of... styling on the stats that bothers me, it's just some text... nothing more... some spacing between the title and a difference between title and info would be great. @Sapphira Barg, I made you your book, went to send it to you and the page jumped and I donated it to my cult... This lag OTL but I got another one XD Black Book okay? They do depend on the tincture =3 I may need to look into moving it right by a few pixels...

 I like the buttons at the top of the page. However, I don't really like the layout for each pet. It seems like a lot of information has been taken away, reduced only to the two boxes that contain the meter for hunger and fun as well as the battle stats. I know there's the drop down menu, but eh. I guess I'm just stuck in the old way I've been using for so long. I guess I'll get used to it. Also, as some users have pointed out, I don't like the treasure chest ratio being left out.  Seems to be like most Subeta updates: it looks nice and shiny, but it's harder to use and seems badly planned. I mean, you couldn't have gotten it more arse-backwards for my needs if you'd tried:Stuff I don't care about/use: stats, hunger, happiness. Prominence on pet page: HUGE COLOURED BARS AND A BIG GREY BOX! Stuff I care about/use: fiddling with profiles, managing treasure. Prominence on pet page: tucked away in a long list oflinks hidden in a drop down accessed by a tiny, inconspicuous button. That said, I do like how it looks. I have a widescreen laptop, so I have to set the width in custom CSS to avoid having to swivel my eyes madly, and I seem to have luckily picked the perfect width for the new pet page. It looks neat and tidy with no empty space(unlike the newspage, which is still a horrible crumpled mess). If you could just add check profile, edit profile and treasure links to it, I'd like it. Ahaha okayy. So I don't remember what I was meaning to do earlier, when I was on my phone at work, but needless to say my smart phone and drop downs are NOT friends.
Ie: I couldn't do whatever it was I was trying to do, then got pissed and spent my entire lunch hour pretty much breaking the new pet page coding 8D! That said, since I've seen more than a few people posting here with ~enuthsiasm for dropdowns~ I figured I'd share what I came up with. Is it perfect? No. Can someone else do better? I'd really hope so |D... However this fixes my problems, so works for me (as well as @Saga who helped me endlessly with this/testing what the code did on a PC vs. my phone |DD...) NOTE: ^ That is kinda a pain in the ass and you can't just copypasta the code directly. You'll have to decide for yourself what links you want and which one's you don't, and depending on how many you leave up you might have to move the .dropdown-menu around (unless you don't care if it covers your pet stats XD)! I've made a list of the numbers each link (or divider!) is in the dropdown menu already, too: li:nth-child numbers!
Basically all you'll have to do is pick the links you don't want to display, and list them in front of the display:none! I suck at explaining things though, so here's an example of what I'm talking about: This code would hide lines 3, 4, and 5 (change name, change name case, and pet friends): Quote:

      @Andrea That you for those codes! It looks sooooo much better now. The only change I really want now is the TC slots listed on the page. I have multiple pets with over 400 items in their TC, and most have at least 200 I believe, so I can't just continuously F5 their treasure page if I'm trying to get to a specific number (which I do a lot).

OMG! Thank you so much for the codes! Bonus points for not having to disable no-script on that page just to view the dropdown menu when I have it set to always show. I wouldn't have minded the dropdown menu that much if it wasn't for pushing all the links onto it and giving us those eyesore bars. Yay for having my pet page look close enough to my one mock up. :} Remember, pillage first then burn. |

I don't mind the overall look of the new layout. The drop down menu does clear up a lot of the clutter from the pet page. However there are a few things that bother me.
1. The pet's gender isn't showing up in their little area of information. I think a stat like that should be on the pet page. One time a glitch changed my pet's gender and no one mentioned it in the news. If something like that happens again I'd like to be able to see that on the pet info page. 2. I don't know if it's just me, but for some reason the actual pet image/artwork looks blurry on the new pet page. It's like that on both my laptop screen and my extra monitor. Perhaps the images were resized or something, but I still don't like it. 3. I find the bars kind of unnecessary. The bars themselves take up too much room. Maybe the bars can be made smaller overall or replace them with just plain numbers. @Whipblade: Oh wow I didn't even notice that the treasure chests slots weren't on the page anymore. I'd really like those back please.

The drop down is such a nuisance!
I've been trying to catch up on battling with my smaller pets and thus needed to shift around scrolls a lot. While this is a nuisance in the first place, now, with having to click a drop down, search and then click a second time this has become even more of a pain ita than before, when i at least had the link to every pet right before me. Give us a spell armory, finally, please, or at least put steady links on the pets page again. This is horrid. Same for the potions under Edit Battle Weapons - we need that back. Also number of books read would be helpful. Its only on the pet profile, which is no longer linked, it's not even on the books read page. TC and gender - return it to us, pretty please.

Just want to point out that this page will continue to change so some of your css changes may be broken!
Also, remember that you're doing a lot of changing on overall site styling which could mean breaking other parts of the site that use the same CSS My daily music blog. Have a listen
