Must admit except when pinged to a giveaway I tend to forget people do them and don't look at the forum much. I should take a peek more often.

@ I'm known for anonymous pressies, but the donation corner is much too much of a problem for me. most people only throw junk in there, and the rare times people throw something nice in there, it's never seen because of all the junk. Plus, I can't give wishlist items via the donation corner.

Plus, I've met some great friends through these giveaways, and gotten to know some of my great friends even better.

I don't do the DC much anymore for that reason. After it finally got cleared of pumpkins I thought it would be better but now it's all full of major drill's ear plugs. Blah. lol

@ yeah, seriously. some of this stuff should just be destroyed, once you've got your full collection. Once all your pets have read "the slots", delete the rest. Once you've got all your earplugs: delete the rest. Once you've carved all your pumpkins & finished your collection: delete the rest!

I once saw someone doing a giveaway for getting the junk OUT of the donation corner, but I'm pretty sure a good many of the people decided "oh, I got the item, posted it, now let's DONATE it!". lol, it's a never-ending cycle.

I'd never toss them in the DC (though I sometimes grab them from the dc) but I save it all. Toss it in my hoard gallery and wait for the recycle beast to ask for it. I usually forget to check what he wants each day though so I suspect I'll have many of the items forever. lol

@ well, that's just as good, I suppose. of course, I'm not one to ever even think about the recycle beast, so, I don't hoard stuff.

(other than wrapping paper, I always have a hoard of wrapping paper in my vault)

Yes I have wrapping paper hoarded in my vault too. One thing I will never run out of on subeta is wrapping paper.
And that's really your fault. When you did that giveaway at luminaire I helped with I had to stockpile for all the pressies and then I just kept stockpiling.

currently at 125, and that's not having vended for awhile. (stockpiling wizard tokens for this event, you know) I'll never run out of wrapping paper if I vend and remember to put the paper in the vault. Of course, my giveaways and luminaire always means I use lots of what I do stockpile.

I think the last time I ran out of wrapping paper was a year and a half ago at luminaire.

Um, I counted my wrapping paper hoard - not including boxes, just stuff with wrap in the name and I had 655 wrapping paper.

I am a talented hoarder. *faints*
I also used to play in the mystery box during events and end up with too much paper instead of good items.
I need to start sending out some anon gifts I think.

@ Doing good here. Just busy trying to keep this interesting. Thought I'd try something different this time to keep it interesting, but I think it backfired, so probably the last week I have this I'll throw out a survey for my regulars too. (with prizes of course)

@ that wasn't how I was thinking it backfired actually. Usually this board is so hopping I can't keep up. It's been dead. It's like my regulars decided that it's not worth it this time. Whether the prizes are too low, or just only seeing results once a week...

@ well for that, a lot of younger people are just getting out of school, and might not be completely done yet. and people could be on vacations....iguess?
another thing that might affect that is i think many people who have been on subeta a while have left or gone on hiatus

also maybe it would be helpful to put up link-back buttons or something, to help more people spread the word!

@ I've had people for these things at all times of the year, including the middle of october and the beginning of march where all the kids are in school. It's not that.... But that's okay, because I'll just find new regulars again next time to replace any regulars who don't want to stay around anymore. I know my prizes aren't amazing this time, but that's because I actually am trying to make sure everyone gets something this time. Before, not everyone won, and that always made some people upset if they stuck with a 4 week long giveaway and walked away with nothing to show for it.

I think it is because everyone did all seven tasks at the beginning of the week and then stopped looking at the board, because, naturally, there won't be much going on until the next tasks come out. I liked it how it was the last time, when a new task came out everyday, although that's more complicated and less clear for you. It's not that you or your giveaway aren't worth it, it is just that everyone did what they were assigned to do and then disappeared. (I'm sorry, I did so, too. I didn't want to make you unhappy.) It's a great idea to give everyone a prize, so no one will come out empty handed. Please carry on, people will come. Maybe put advertisement in your signature?

#KAG Week 2 missions have been posted. Prizes will be going out soon (I hope) for week 1. No drawing ability required for week 2.

Edit:

You WILL all get your prizes. However, vouchers are being a bit of a pain, as I was unaware of the daily limit. Therefore, you may be getting them in groups of 5 to 10 people, depending if I can find a few friends willing to spend a few seconds buying me vouchers.

@ You're welcome for the gifts. (Although I believe you're on the list for still being owed one, once I overcome subeta's insistence that I can't spend all my sP on vouchers.) Also, LOVE that lightning.
