Hey everyone (: my name is Chelsea and I'm a 20 year old Subetan of about 6 years. I went on hiatus back in November/December and gave away all of my cool pets and items, as well as something like 8m sP, because I thought it would save the breakup I was going through. Six months later I've come to the realization that he was a douchecanoe and I don't need him anyway, and you guys were always better to me than he was so poo on him. Here's the short version of what's up, though, and I'm just going to be frank. ♥ I had to move back in with my parents because of the breakup, and shortly thereafter I fell down the stairs twice, had a suicide attempt, had to quit my job and school and also ended up in the mental ward for a week because of depression ♥ On top of those instances, I have four pet rats and a 16 year old cat, car insurance and gas expenses, a phone bill, medication etc. that I need to take care of, because regardless of my parents, I am still an adult. ♥ Currently, my parents are shouldering most of the medical expenses I am responsible for, and... they aren't happy about it. I recently got a job, but, I'm only getting paid minimum wage and I'm getting very few hours to start off. I also have to go back to school in September which means I will be working less. I need to save up enough money to move back out before I can help them pay off the medical expenses, which I intend to do eventually. I just can't right now. :/ I'm not saying any of this to gain your sympathy - that is the last thing I need. Rather, please understand the value of the time I spend drawing for you and the mental toll of deciding to, once again, try to balance this with the rest of my life. I don't expect anyone to pay in USD, but please consider it if you can. I have a long way to go and every penny counts. I also want to rebuild my 6 years worth of cool stuff that I gave away when I went on hiatus. I have a long-ass way to go, so actually, Subeta stuff (wishlist items, HA items, CSC, sP and pet stuff) are all as equally appreciated as USD right now. My HA and pets are so ugly now omg ;_; examples
 ♥ PING PING PING, sillies!! ♥ Orders should include: - what type of art (sketch, full, CI, overlay, etc) - references and as detailed of a description as you can/want to give. Otherwise I WILL take artistic liberties - preferred pose etc - how you'd like to pay (see below) ♥ When I have a draft, I'll show you a thumbnail for approval. You can have me change/fix anything at this point ♥ When it's finished, send your payment and I will sMail you the finished piece. ♥ I will probably continue to host the piece for showing-off purposes, but the URL may change. Please upload it to your own image host. ♥ Please give credit. Most people are good about this but still. Please understand that, depending on what you're requesting & how many slots I have, it could take a while. I'll try to give you an estimate.  I'm just not comfortable pricing my own work at this point, although I reserve the right to set prices in the future. In the meantime, my base price is going to be 1mil sP or equal in value for items, or 100 CSC or $1. For anything, CI's to full pieces. Yep. Anything you can/want to pay above that would be great. I feel like I'm kinda screwing myself over by setting the same price for everything, but my requests in the past have been varied in complexity and it was too hard to barter over it, so please be kind to me. ♥ Wearables are priority* ♥ sP ♥ CSC ♥ USD ♥ * reserving the right to refuse anything I already have. My wardrobe sucks ): my HA is so ugly I'm sick of looking at her already haha Notes on WL items: there's a lot of stuff in each category that is both way more expensive and way less than what I'm asking for my art. The expensive-r items (more than 3m) are more or less wishful thinking, haha. Individual items under 1m I will accept on their own, or in combinations if you wanna show me some love <3 I'm mostly looking for stuff from the "priority" and "for art" categories. If you get me any of the following items I will negotiate special privileges for you because I really really really really really want them. Some are items from before that I'm trying to get back. I also have a vested interest in rare & expensive books, so if you have some of those we can probably make a deal. Would you be willing to draw Joule, full colored? It can be just a bustie like your sketch example or you can include the tail if you feel like it~ I have more references and info here. No particular pose preferences; just put a smile on her face and make her look happy? Payment: I have Feisty Heroine Lace Wrap from your WL to offer, and sP tip if I like it! I have a few other wearables from your WL if you want something else. |

I am looking for a gargoyle style drawing of my pet Vindemia. Basically the concept is she is a gargoyle perched on the edge of a building, a silent observer watching as the decades pass by. I would like to be full colour (though it will pretty much be mostly grey) I'm not really looking for a detailed building, maybe just part of the side and the part where she's perched. Something like This but facing to the right. (not the expression/pose, but the location), I'm looking for kind of a neutral pose, expressionless, just kind of watching. Does that make sense/sound interesting to you? Oooh..I'm really bad at making sP offers for art work..does 2 mil sP sound okay?

Could I get a slot for a fullbody, full colored picture of my pet Dis please? He's basically a regular reborn wyllop with black feet/tail/etc. If you could give him a sort of sullen or sulky sort of expression that would be great, but I'll leave the pose and such up to you! I wish I could help out with USD, but I can pay with a  and  ?

 @viticus Hello! If there's still any slots left, would you be willing to draw a Custom Image of this guy in plushie form? Another reference. I'd like it to be sitting down in a pose similar to  with the clothes colored the same as on the references. If you need further references, I'd be happy to send! I happen to have  which I wouldn't mind giving to you. If that isn't sufficient, I'd be happy to pay extra in SP.

@viticus - I am looking for a slightly complex overlay, i ching is going to be based around the actual i ching, with him in the process of casting an i ching and doing a reading. If this is too complex, just tell me, I can also provide links to how to cast an i ching and what it is for reference. I can pay you in um a bunch of wearables ? I'd probably just go through your WL and pick a bunch of stuff AS PROMISED LINKS AND PICTURES. Wiki on the i ching for an overview. The Sacred Texts site w/ James Legge's translation of the i ching. I have this book. Lousy casting illustrations, perfect hexagram illustrations. a sped up video of someone casting an i ching A step by step guide to casting an i ching gives good hand positioning The first stalk he lays down is supposed to go in front of you, he's got it off to the side, b/c of space restrictions, but do you see how he's holding the stalks in between his fingers ? I want i ching to be holding a few stalks, in his fingers of his left hand, one stalk in front as if he's casting with five and four underneath it like this XxX <~~ here is i ching || <~~~ five and four stalks ----- <~~~ the roof stalk they'd be on the ground in front of him. There can be a notebook in his other paw or on the ground near him with a hexagram on it, or just a small hexagram and some squiggly lines for "notes" The Sacred Texts link has all the hexagrams, I don't have a preference on which one is used. I make - currently closed - @Iyce Just wanted to let you know, i have a couple more touch ups I want to make on it BUT I had an accident yesterday. I got bitten by one of my pet rats pretty badly and my hand is infected now. :/ Its all swollen and im basically typing this with one hand (so slow ugh). basically its put a bit of a damper on my internet activities lol but im on antibiotics and stuff and hopefully it will be cleared up in the next few days so I can get that finished. anyway i just didnt want you to think that I was saying "oh its done!' and then have you be like "okay where is it ): " haha

I make - currently closed - @Psychedelia - @ hey guys, I just wanted to update you and let you know why I'm being so slow. Opundo knows this, but earlier this week one of my pet rats bit me and my hand got infected, so I haven't been able to draw for a few days and it's set me back quite a bit. Also, I'm going on a mini-vacation this week and I won't have my tablet with me again until Thursday evening, so that's a few more days sans drawing. However, I am working on getting sketches down for everyone and I'll try to at least get in touch with you guys about those... umm I want to say before I leave but realistically that probably wont happen lol I'm leaving on Tuesday, so let's shoot for the end of the week? I will be checking in online while I'm gone if you need to get ahold of me for whatever reason, and I'll be able to sketch, just not scan/finish anything.

@viticus - No worries. Let the hand heal. If you have coconut oil, use a bit on the scar/scab once it heals over. It'll help it heal and prevent a lot of scarring.

I make - currently closed - @  What do you think? I *think* I got the definition okay, like you can see his outfit and stuff. It's hard to get all that detail into a 64x64 area, lol. Does he look like David Tennant to anyone but me? Are his nose and his rosy cheeks okay? haha I thought they'd be cute and make him look more plushlike. Just a personal call though, I can change it if you want.

@viticus Oh my goodness, it looks great! ♥ I love how detailed his clothes are! His nose and cheeks look fine and absolutely adorable. If it's not too much trouble, though, I think his hair could be a tad bit... poofier? I personally feel like that's David Tennant's "trademark," you know what I mean? Anyway, if you can't, then it's fine. I'll love it all the same. Anyway, I'll be sure to send your Incubus Wings over later.
