I was using Chrome while my wardrobe is missing and every time I try to look at the first post in several forums it ..... well it slides off screen. Then it comes back for a second and does it again. Every post after the first is ok though.
It doesn't happen on FF or IE. (I checked)

Well it starts moving to the right all the way off screen. If I try to follow it the screen gets stucks and I have to close the page. It's like when someone writes a really long work with no spaces, how it stretches the page? It's like that except the whole post goes off screen.

That is really really weird...
Do you have any kind of adblocker or add ons that may cause this? Because all I use is chrome and I don't think I have ever had that problem. What version are you on as well?

I have an adblocker, but it doesn't seem to affect anything else on site... I believe I have the newest chrome since I picked it up a coupe weeks ago.

If I open the forums on chrome, yes it still happens.

I'll weigh in - some posts in the CW forum that use spoiler tags also causing the page to be stretched (like by about another 300px of width, stretching my screen from 1366px of width to 1666px), the only thing holding my page together is my custom CSS. There's no "string" of text without spaces, it just stretches.

I'll edit this once I get a screencapture of it so you can see and maybe that's what's happening to @.

... But it might very well be that green line that's stretching the page... now that I look.

Is it because of the content in the spoiler? To me, it looks like the background isn't scaling properly (or do you typically have so much extra space on the right side?)

The red stuff to the right? I typically have it, Subeta (with its new coding) always runs over it by a few pixels. You should see the news page - nightmare. x.x;

The dark red area? Because my layout only over shows less than an inch of it.. and I have a wide screen.

Your page should be the same width (or a little more) than the spoiler bar.

Yeah, that's normally there. I'm at 1366x768 and the spoilers normally don't stretch the pages.

Like I said - the news page is a nightmare. But I know that's partially my CSS and part Subeta, I'm just having an issue finding out where Subeta's goof ends and the problem in my CSS begins.

I had this happen the other day when I was browsing on my Kindle. I can't say I have ever had anything like it happen before. It was not a stretching issue though. The page content was literally sliding across the page. The background and everything was staying where it should, but the images and text looked like they were being pulled off the page to the right. I tried scrolling to the right to read the page, but since there is no horizontal scroll bar I couldn't scroll. The content ended up going so far off the screen that all I was left with was background. I would have taken a screenshot, but I'm not sure that's even possible on a Kindle. It only happened once though and only on Subeta, so I guess whatever it was sorted itself out. Maybe? Hopefully...
