uhh you could use an overlay or use the image as overlay and make it transparant in photoshop or photofiltre or something

1 - you need to do this on your own and use it as an overlay like I did for my Pet Juna.
2 - to completely disable the pet image you use this code:

#pet_image {display:none;}

3 - To change the link color, simply use this code

a:link,a:visited{color:#4B1F2F;}

Yes, I know I need to do it as an overlay. I have problems with it, tho. :/
It makes her white fur and eyes transparent as well. :c

which program do you use? some programs have the option on default to select ALL white areas, not only the one you are clicking. In Photoshop for example, there's a checkbox called Contiguous. If it's unchecked, it will select all white areas, if it's checked it will only select the one you clicked.

Here, I made it transparent for you in case you want it

It should look fine on all background colors ^^
