I can do more on the background, if you would like me to? I wasn't quite sure what to add since I don't really know much about her interests and the like, so I just went with her touching the background and it turning yellow.
I'm not going accept the trade for now, I'll wait until you're satisfied with the background. c:

Could you make the pink resemble a mirror or a vertical body of water and maybe add some blue? For more on the character, she's shy, but I also think of her as self-conscious of her appearance. She's not sure how she feels about her wings so I could definitely see her distorting her reflection. Do you have any ideas for the white around her? Also, thank you for offering to fix the background.

No problem. And for the white, if it wasn't white for a simple background I would normally do something like this or this. Would you prefer that?

Also if I do make the pink into a mirror, the reflection wouldn't really be visible. I'd do maybe just the wings, since if I draw the reflection it would pretty much be me drawing her again at a different angle, which is a lot more work.

I would prefer something like those two examples you showed me for the background. Do you have any colors in mind? Also, it's fine if you want to just draw the wings in the reflection. Otherwise maybe you could blur the surface of the mirror in some way.

Ahhh sorry for the wait. For pretty much everyone past you too. I SWEAR I'M STILL WORKING ON THESE. I'm just. Really. Slow.

I'm done, though! I tried something different with yours, as instead of coloring outright, I did in grayscale first then put color on top of it. I'm not sure how successful I was, but I kind of like the outcome. C:

I can make it cleaner looking? I think? The crisper lines in the example is also because I used paint tool sai for that one, and I used photoshop for this one. I could sharpen it? Idk how well that would go. I will try!
