I hope it's ok to post a topic like this here...i'm not selling, i'm interested in buying, but i don't know if the items i want exist. I'm completely lost in the heaps of CWs available now and i don't know how to search for precisely what i'm looking for because item names don't always correspond in an obvious way to what the item is. I've looked through a lot of sellers' threads but no luck yet. Anyway...there are a lot of dog HA companions out there, but i haven't seen either of these breeds and i'd really like them, but i don't have the means to make them myself or commission them (which i assume is expensive and i probably can't afford) at the moment. So i'm wondering if they exist already, or, if someone might be planning to make them, i can say for certain right now that i will buy them.

What i'd like are a Chocolate Lab ~~and a mixed shepherd breed - think Border Collie with markings similar to a Rottweiler (tricolor - black/tan/white).~~ There are photos of my dogs on my profile that show what i'm looking for.

If you are selling such CWs or know of someone who is, please direct me to them! Thank you!

EDIT: I got the mixed breed one!

@Diesel. I think there's one, that's very similar to your maggie. mmm, if i'm remembering correctly (and that's debatable) its called something like 'pink nose charm'

Thanks for the reply! ^^ I think you mean the "Pink Nosed Mutt Pendant"...i have that on my wishlist just because it's a dog and i love all dogs, but i can't say it looks much like Maggie. It's vaguely the right shape, but totally the wrong coloring and face. I know i'm probably not going to have much luck finding a companion that looks just like her though, being a mixed breed. I can't believe there isn't a Labrador Retriever yet though...i've heard they are the #1 most popular breed in the U.S.! (Not specifically chocolate, but the breed in general.)

Hey there, you might want to check out the released CW list on the Human Avatar forum. I'd post the link but it doesn't seem to be loading atm.

Oh well, I'll check it for ya as soon as it works and let you know if any dogs released are what you are looking for

I think i found the thread you're talking about, and it's not loading for me either...must be because it's a large thread, because everything else has been loading for me, albeit very slowly. Well, thanks for offering to help me look for them when it does load!

Yea, it was fine yesterday. I think it's because the site crashed for a few hrs today.

Ah well, it'll work later. No problem! It gives me an excuse to go discover what other CW goodies were released that I missed WListing and buying lol. ^-^

Yeah, it was down for at least two or three hours and it's been super laggy ever since it came back up...but that's better than being down. Lol, i've already found too many other CWs i want while looking for these, but i have to save my money for my puppies now, assuming they do (or will ever) exist! XD

I'm sure you will get them eventually.

What you could try doing is requesting/suggesting the idea to an artist who does animal wears already. It's a stretch since that means you don't pay them and are just giving them a possible idea for a CW BUT I saw someone who was making Inuyasha CWs and asked them if they could make a character from the show since I thought it was a cool idea and she agreed.

So you never know, there is no harm is asking.

I might try that too then. I'm sure there would be demand for them (other than from myself) because like i said, Labs are a popular breed, and well...Maggie's just so darn cute...who could resist her? lol I'm pretty sure canine companions are always pretty popular because that would explain why there are so many breeds represented already. I admit i haven't looked into what getting a commission done entails, but like i said, i bet i couldn't afford it. But i can promise i'd buy one of each of them if they were made. I'll have to look for someone who has drawn other animal CWs then...

is . You might want to try asking her because she's pretty awesome.

ANOTHER way you could request this is go on over to the CW discussion board and post the idea there. You never know, someone might pick it up. ^-^ Anyway good luck with this! I'm gonna check that list out for you as SOON as it loads.

@Diesel, LOL looking for you, i found four companions, that I have to have

and the thing is, i found 2, that are in trades, and i can't put in an offer, because i can't get into the cash shop, to get the gift cards. AAAHHHHHHHH!!!! I ACTUALLY Have the csc, and I can't get to the blasted ITEMS! /heh. and i wanted to get one of the new skirts too/

Lol, it doesn't have to be real life to need the items though! In a way, having a crap-ton of stuff on here is way better than having it in real life...you don't have to clutter up your house or pay for a storage unit or worry about it getting lost in a fire or a burglary...
I hope you've been able to make an offer on those trades now that the site seems to be stable again. Good luck!

You could put up a topic on the r200 forum under advertising saying that you are looking for those items. I'm sure you can find one to buy there, possibly even for less than the traditional 600 csc. That's where I like to look for CWs I missed lol. ^-^

Hey, just wanted to tell you all the good news, since you all offered your assistance to me...I GOT MY PUPPY! In the end, someone just sMailed me out of the blue offering to sell, so i guess she probably saw the want ad i posted on the r200 board (nobody actually replied on the thread but i don't know how else she would have found me).

I'm not quite done here yet though, so nobody go closing my thread. XD I'm still hoping for one that looks like my Chocolate Lab too. I'm not in too much of a hurry with that one though because 1. it doesn't even seem to exist yet, and 2. i really can't afford to spend any more CSC or sP right now (so i won't be commissioning anything either). I'll just hope this thread serves as a hint and an incentive to our wonderful CW creators to make one.

Aw, that husky is really cute too though! They are one of my favorite breeds...just not one i've ever had. Maybe you could trade your husky with someone for the Shy Ninja...i found a seller a lot faster than i expected. Probably a lot of people who buy those CWs just go, "OH A CUTE PUPPY, MUST BUY IT!" and then discover later they don't really use it. If it was just a matter of having a dog companion, i'd trade with you, but i have to keep my Maggie forever, sorry. That Sleepy Snow Puppy is one of my favorite CWs too...it would be super cute in black. I hope she makes one!
