Not many I have to say... Shoryen,Skyspirit and Arcticanee are definitly done with colour/species. Chikyu and Kurena need to become Hydrus/Spectrum for the storyes I think for the two. Incuban will be Nightmare, Story-Planning is done in the rough draft. For Viendrait I need to think out a story, but I like to have her Angelic, if I have the sP one time. Absolem will be a Blacklight or Scribble Illumis, because I like to have the Absolem from Alice in Wonderland. And Renascentia will be Reborn, and Iīm thinking about to make a story a little bit like the Jeanne D`arc. So you see, I have a looot of work to do >.< Last Edit by:

@Janet I must say all of your pets have beautiful names. I have two dream colour/species combos, Madness and Artistic Soul (who desperately needs renaming -.-) I generally like all my pet colours, otherwise I wouldn't have them, but I wish I could have some of these: XD lovelovelove

@SHIBA Omg, your ART is sooo awsome! If I have the sP rigth now, I would love to let you draw my Shoryen for the planned pet-profil. @Janet Thanks :B I nabbed her in the clearing, I was waiting a long time for her c: You could always have an overlay made, to give her red fur and light brown eyes, she kinda fits in the sense that she's 'pure', it may be before a completely different meaning but ah well xD And if you like the overall look of a reborn, you could have her wings made of fire, etc. etc. Edit: Sorry I read it wrong xD I don't see why Leslie couldn't fit any pet name to be honest  You could say my pet, Bleak, would fit an arid better than a DM, but her name is relevent to her storyandso is her colour, so it doesn't matter to me @Schattenmond Thank you c: Well, I accept csc and wishlist items too, bit iffy with USD/GBP though. Let's see .... Out of my 18 pets... 14 are colors/species combo I like and would have gotten even if I didn't have characters. Out of the remaining 4, 3 aren't colored/ don't have a definitive color yet.

When I made my pet I really just picked the Archan because it looks like a lion. I named it redking thinking of the sailboat from Zelda, Wind Waker. There isn't much a of a storyline going on yet >.>

 I have 3 pets with undecided color/species, so out of the rest of the 22 pets, I'm content with 20 of them. If not for the characters, I wouldn't own a glacier ontra or a graveyard lain  . And I'm seriously thinking about changing the lain to something else  .Last Edit by:

daffodil: glade popoko (she grew up in floral town surrounded by flowers and was named for such and she's got a kind of chirpy personality) hallow: glacier popoko (he's an english aristocrat. they look so snooty it was perfect for him) kots: nightmare jollin (dakota is a giant burnout, has severe anorexia issue. wild dark hair that's always all over the place sticking up on end. he's always got his back arched to anyone he meets and his snarl is bigger then bite) carlito: glade parallix (they look so peaceful and etheral and lito is really laidback person who was spiritually inspired by Buddhist culture ) kristian: glacier lain (the colors fit him perfectly, he wears very light blue/violet contacts and dyes his hair ice blue. he's very shy and quick to hide behind people and is constantly vigilant of their idiosyncrasies. one eye open at all times. not very trusting) so nope :c i don't tend to create a pet and change its color unless it fits with their character. even when i joined the site my first pet hallow was adapted best to his personality. theres a lot of species i want but i won't create them until they fit a character i have.  I've never really thought about this. Other than Ailbe, who I created because reborn celinox was the first pet I fell in love with when I joined, all my pets species/colors were picked to suit their personalities :u But at the same time I like them all just based on the images, too. Baobab [field sheeta] I guess would be a little too plain for my liking, if it didn't suit him so well. I might not have gotten Jingwei [chibi lain] or Casy [glacier lasirus]'s colors either, if it was purely down to what pet images I like best... There's a lot of pets whose images I really like but I wouldn't make because I don't have a character for them or they'd be too similar to something I already have (I'll never get a glacier mahar because of Garreth)

I think all of mine are the color and species I want, except perhaps the newest additions to my family, for whom a story hasn't been solidified as of yet. I definitely model color and species around character and not the other way around!

 Hunh! Interesting topic here. Out of the 22 pets I have, about 8 are color/species combinations I wouldn't have chosen had it not been for their characters. The majority of my characters thankfully fit the pets I love most (or their color/species combos grew on me!), but I'll go ahead and explain the ones that weren't necessarily my first choices: Onlooker: While I think the Steamwork Rreign is a beautiful pet, I wasn't interested in having one at all. I chose it because of how well it suited my biplane pilot character, but it still hasn't grown on me as much as I would've liked it to.  Aoske: I'll be totally honest with you, and say that I really dislike the DM Malticorn! But you know, its innocent, "why is this happening?" sort of face is exactly the kind of demeanor Aoske has, so it fits her character perfectly. I like both Azell and Careful's species/color combos, but neither of them are my favorites, to be honest! Again, it's all about the demeanor of each pet. At least I'll be changing Azell to something even more suitable in a few days, which I'll like a whole lot more! Delilah. Ugh - I never liked the Angel Kumos. I still don't like it, honestly, but you know, her character is pretty soft and gentle on the inside (and she dies later on in her story ), so it fits. Junielle's face as a Spectrum Keeto just radiates with a "hey, I'm better than you are, sucker" kind of feeling, which is perfect for her - even if I don't like the Spectrum Keeto! Alice and Byakuren, my two fanpets, are also pets that I don't particularly care for. I don't care for Glade Kumoses these days, and Galactic Sheetas aren't my favorite either - but since they're both relatively good-natured, quiet magicians, it only made sense to keep them in their current colors. I love so many pets on this site, but generally I won't create them until I have a character that absolutely suits the species/color combination I want. :c

 All of my pets are colors that I like, otherwise I wouldn't have them. Some of them were inspired by their current color and species combos, while others I decided what best fitted their characters. However, if there were a glacier dragarth, I would likely change Jingles to it. While the glacier mahar is the only mahar color I like, I'm not a fan of the blister belly look the species has. (I know they're gems, but...)

Only two out of seven of my pets so far is a color I like. Which is Rehabilitation (a nostalgic devonti) and Slowking (a glacier hipottu). I have not gotten enough sP yet to change the colors of the others to the ones I want. But when I do color the rest of my pets, they indeed will be colors that I like. :3 Last Edit by:

I actually made most of my pets into characters after I picked out the combinations when I first got them early on...not quite sure why I did that hahah, some of them are things I don't like that much, like bloodred Montre or reborn wyllop. There are four that I really really love, and the rest (except for the two mentioned at the very beginning), I'm okay with. c: art shop

Hmn most of them I would say.
Swapnil -- Nightmare Telenine -- I've always loved these so I adopted him with no intent to make any changes, besides his stats as part of the agreement was to keep training him, no problem there. Manco --Hydrus Telenine-- drives me up the wall, the colour is perfect for him, but the art seriously needs updating. Hecate -- Nostalgic Kumos -- Fits her perfectly and it's the only nostalgic pet I really like =P so that was pretty lucky. Driver -- Glacier Rreign -- the pose and attitude fit great, but the character he's based on is actually red/gold but the reborn doesn't suit =S so it kind of annoys me when I see him because that'll never match up quite right, his profile is in black and white though so it's not too much of an issue. Shalashaska --Golden Tigrean--, I'm happy with... mostly... I'm really just praying for the electrical/storm colour everyone wants because he needs to be that, though I'm not sure what I'd do if the Tigreans took forever to get that colour =S Naked Snake -- Marsh Archan -- while I don't like the normal pose Archan's back legs, I do like the colours a lot, I'm particularly fond of the creaminess about his eyes. Cid Highwind -- Cream Irion -- Yes and no... it suits him down to the ground, and I like the colours, but the pose is so dull it annoys me =S Like Shally he'd most likely be turned 'storm' if it ever gets made. Tumbleweed -- Chibi Irion -- I love these lil guys, wanted one ever since they first got released, and it suits her =D so it had to be done Raikov -- Spectrum Pherret -- Eh, I'm not a huge fan of pherrets or spectrum, this was mostly to suit the character, but as pherrets go this one is probably my favourite, the shading is great and I love the pose. Roy Campbell -- Reborn Celinox -- this is more to do with me wanting a celinox than anything, but there isn't really a pet/colour combo that suits him at current =S the expression of the RB celinox does remind me of him though. Pistola -- Reborn Feli -- both for the character and for my liking of these guys, wish the art would get updated though -- so long as the attitude doesn't change Big Mama -- Angelic Montre -- Like Roy she doesn't really have a colour/pet combo that suits her, but I do associate her with air/flight and the chest tuft caught between the montre's shoulders is reminiscent of the character's habit of unzipping her top to her belly all the time XD her proud/defiant yet watchful pose works too. Driven -- Graveyard Donadak -- Love the colour, always wanted a donadak, and the weathered look of the donadak suits the character too Trainwreck -- Bloodred Jollin -- perfect for her, but the position of the tail drives me up the wall, I do like the colour though Adder -- Twilight Serpenth -- not my favourite serpenth by any stretch of the imagination, but it suits him Aerophyte -- Nuclear Aeanoid -- can't find a colour that suits him, glade would be better but the attitude/pose doesn't work =S so I'm sitting with nuclear for now, hopefully the Reborn Aeanoid whenever it gets updated will take over Lärs -- Common Fester -- adore the common fester, perfect for the character, 'nough said Auditor -- Sun Lasirus -- Like Adder this isn't my favourite lasirus colour, but he matches Adder Sun/Twilight Sangfroid -- Galactic Cybill -- His was a no brainer, I created him on a whim and coloured him galactic asap, he's not changed since then Swarf -- SW Antlephore -- Always wanted an antlephore, always wanted something SW XD and it suits him so that's good. Subterfuge -- Nightmate Bhakoru -- much like Swarf, always wanted a bhakoru and the nm one is the only one that appeals to me at the moment, it does suit him okay but I wouldn't be against changing him when a new colour comes out if it suits him better. Most of my pets suit me and their characters, with a few right on the edge of 'not sure'.

Snapdragon, for example, would be something different. While I do like the legeica colourfills, there are a lot of pets I don't have that I find more exciting. But Snap is my one non-human character, and since she's a horse I feel like she should be an equine species. Also ideally she would be reborn - something fiery would fit her to a T. But the RB hikei is nice and outdated and I'm really anal about all the art styles matching, and the RB legeica isn't a thing yet. When the swampie got revamped I seriously considered making her one - the face, at least, is kind of equine - but I decided to leave her cream and wait. But yeah, not a first choice colour. Actress too. I have no plans to change her ever, and I do really like the GY popoko, but if I didn't have Actress's character I wouldn't have one. The face melting off is too perfect to pass up though. But then Yvette - there are a tonne of different species that would fit her, some even better than the glacier donadak, but I really wanted one and it works for her so that's what she is. And Elton, there's really no reason he needs to be a SW rreign, and maybe something else would fit better, but I like it a lot. And then there are a whole lot that are just ideal. Colour/species I really wanted, and also the absolute best fit for the character. Paget as a #893, Amos as an angelic manar, Cieraugh as a hydrus popoko, Briony as a GY hikei, A.J. as a NM malticorn, Jennie as a nostalgic kanis, Adelaide as a GY mahar, Remy as a glacier hikei, Finnegan as a nostalgic chai, Shamus as a NM bhakoru, Gwyneth as a NM jollin.. I like all of my pets and colours so it's kind of a silly question. xD But Annice, Elaine, and Huck were coloured first, I came up with characters for them much later. I usually base the colour and species of the pet on the character and I always pick something I like (there's not many pets on Subeta I don't like). I don't know if I'd own same combos that I do atm if I didn't have characters for my pets. I'd like to think I would, but on the other hand who knows. xD  tumblr | last.fm

 I really am fond of all of my pets colors. I do try to match the pet to the character I have in mind, but I also make sure that it's a pet I'm actually fond of, haha!The only pets I've got that I'm kind of iffy on are Dendier and Andrasta (however, I plan to change both of them here soon). Just because what they are now doesn't really match their characters anymore.

Id say i like 10 out of 25 of mine. All of my pets colours match thier character rather than me actually liking the colour or not, but some of them i do really like, the Glacier Irion is my favorite and i love all Cadogres and Endeavors, so i try and make those when i can

22/26. :B I tend to make my characters into pets based off what pets I want. However, it should be up to 25/26 eventually -- Nick is very very likely to be a bloodred lain when it comes out and I can p. much guarantee I will be crying over their beauty, Rua is getting a species morph and will be one of the spectrum pets that I'd really like to own, and if/when the hydrus telenine is revamped, I'm sure it will be wonderful. (I really like the idea of it!) Also, I'm debating on coloring Engarde one of two colors that I adore, so I guess it'll be 26/26? :'D Up until I get more pet slots, when it will go to 31/31. (;

 8 of my pets are colors/species that I really liked and was more than happy to create them. If the color itself didn't work out that well, then I merely got an overlay so that they would fit. 3 of my pets are a work in process. One of them is kind of a Lab Pet where I've no idea what to do with him yet. The other two are just common colors. One of them will definitely be one that I like, turning my 8 into 9. The other one, I'm happy with the species but waiting for more Bhakorus to be released. And as for my last one (Autocorrect) I do think that the Nightmare Charlie is cool, but I'm not sure if I'd actually own one if it wasn't for his name. In fact, I know that I wouldn't own one xD |

I love all the colors of my pets except for Grave Digger which I am still not quite sure what to color him.
