"Thanks, be safe yourself." Elijah said as he heard, but not seen her walk away. He was alone now in this dark stairwell. He couldn't see, but he could feel and hear. But thank god there was nothing to feel or hear except for the jacket around him and his own steady breathing. He sat there, wondering what were the others up to? He knew Alana and Colton were still upstairs, but what of Tyler and Jace? Or Jordan and Lexxi? Mitchel and Dylan? He hadn't seen, or heard, from any of the others since they got there. He hoped that wasn't a bad thing, but after everything that's been going on tonight he wasn't sure if that'd be a good thing. He heard a distant yelp from down the stairwell and jumped, startled, but it was just Nell and she told him she was alright. He sighed in relief and buried his face in his knees, shivering. It was beginning to feel colder, he could see his breath. His heart sped up and he started to feel scared, but he didn't know why. That frightened him even more and he just buried his face deeper into his knees wanting this night to be over already.

Mitchel hugged Dylan back tighter, he really didn't want to let her go, but she unwrapped herself from him and started running after grabbing his hand. He stumbled a moment before catching up to her pace. "Where are we going?" He asked, looking back momentarily to see if anything was chasing them. There wasn't anything.

“If it was a girl. Maybe it was his child or even just a friend. Who knows who they kept here.” Lexxi’s eyes shot up as she heard a scream and she nodded at Jordan, following him out of there. The door to the stairwell was just across the room and she threw it open only to have it slam back in her face as though something had been behind it.

Suddenly the door next to Jace and Tyler swung open and hit him in the back, the force of the blow causing the door to close again. He jumped both with surprise and pain, rubbing the back of his head. “Ow!” He hoped it wasn’t another ghost and moved himself as well as Tyler away from the door, bracing himself for whatever lay behind it.

Hearing an exclamation of pain, Lexxi sighed and opened the door more carefully. “Hello?”
“Lexxi!” Jace was so hapy he could almost jump with joy. He noticed Jordan was right by her and his grin broadened. They’d made it.
“Thank God you guys are safe! Was that you screaming?” She focused her eyes on Tyler.
“We heard it too,” Jace confirmed. “It sounded like it was coming from the basement.”

"Out of here." She said as she stopped and looked around. "Where is out though?" She asked slightly confused. Maybe why she was so sick and sad in the children's room was because of Little Mary, her supposed relative. "Do you want any idea where out is?" She asked him.

Tyler shook her head no as she wiped the tears and running make up from her face. "I just want to get out of this place. Did any of the others come back?" She asked them both. Jordan looked at Lexxi. "Yeah but why kill them? Just go and steal them." Jordan told her as they walked over to the door. "Tyler you are all right!" He smiled at her as he looked at Jace and Tyler. "You mean the others aren't with you?" He asked her.

Nell walked into the cold darkness, covering her bleeding nose with her hand. She couldn't see a thing, she could barely hear a thing. She was blind in the dark. She realized the mistake, coming down. She felt her way back to the door, but when she tried to pull it open, nothing. She jerked with her free hand, then with both hands. The blood still flowed, but was only a trickle now. The door still did not give way. She was trapped, at least, as far as she knew.

"love!" she yelled in frustration.

Her word echoed in the space she was in, bouncing off invisible walls. She was full on shivering now, out of cold and out of fear. Her heart was that of a racehorse, beating as though she was at the head of the race. Her breathing quickened and it felt as if she couldn't get enough air into her lungs. Nell realized that she was starting to panic.

She did her best to slow her breathing, but the dark is what got to her, the fact that she couldn't see a thing and could do nothing about it. She felt out into the darkness, with both hands this time, her bloody nose having stopped, just crust now. She didn't bump into anything for a few minutes, that is until she hit a wall. She felt along to her right, hoping to find a doorway. She did. There was no door blocking her path. She stepped over the threshold and her blood froze. It felt like thirty below in the room. It felt like she wasn't alone. No, she could tell someone was in there. She put her back to the wall inside the room. Her head bumped into something dull, but pointed. She turned around and felt the wall, her hand gliding over the pointed thing, and subsequently moved. A light flickered on, the first light Nell had seen for a long while. But with light, comes monsters.

Nell didn't want to turn around. She wanted to turn the light back off, but knowing that would get her no where, she didn't. So, she turned around. There was what looked like an operating table, but different. It was then that Nell realized where she was. She had entered the morgue, and this was just a room that was a part of it. This is where they would cut up the cadavers. As Nell looked around the room, which was actually very large, she noticed tales with knives, needles, and other oddities she could quite name. She saw, in the wall, the doors where they would stick the bodies that had been delt with. In a corner of the room, all to itself, she saw a large contraption that stopped her breath. The cremator. That's where they would burn the bodies of the patients if they had no families, or if the family wanted nothing to do with them. Nell walked some ways into the room, up to the table where they would cut up cadavers. She didn't even notice the figure enter the room, not until it was right behind her, it's cold hand clenching her shoulder.

The scream caught in her throat, as she felt bile rise into her throat, but never come out. Tears pricked her eyes. The hand was so cold, it sucked the heat out of her. As she felt a knife start to press into her side, her senses flooded back into her, and she tore away from the thing, the knife cutting slightly into her side, but she didn't notice. She just needed to get away.

Nell tore out of the room, knowing the door wouldn't work, she tore down a hallway, going as far as the light would follow, tearing into the darkness and unknown. She didn't stop until her body slammed into a wall, scratching the side of her head, and et body crumpled to the floor. Her head was pounding, and she came in and out of consciousness for a few moments. Then she heard it, footsteps echoing in the hall, coming towards her. She got up on wobbly legs, feeling down the hallway, moving as quickly as possible, but making sure she didn't fall again. Then, she felt another doorway and went inside. She felt the wall again and found another light switch. Figuring it couldn't hurt to try (though she wn't sure how any electricity worked in this building) she flicked it on.

And wished to God she never had. It was a large room. There we shackles on the floor, ones that would hold onto the ankles of a person. In the corner there was an actual operating table. Next to it, a diagram of the human body, sketches, and notes. Nell had gone only a bit inside before the door slammed. She hadn't even noticed that there was a door. She ran to it, slamming her fist into it. Then she heard laughter. She turned her head, Pinot knowing what to expect. She saw patients, people who had been sent to the asylum, all dressed in patient garb, lined up along the wall, around a dozen of them. Their hair covered their eyes unruly. Their bodied covered in dirt, bruises, and blood. There was a young girl on the front, just seven or eight. Nell stepped forward, not sure why, but she was pulled towards them. She didn't even notice the blood drip from her head wound down the side of her face, just the patients. The girl looked up, a psychotic smile on her face, her eyes wide open, only the whites of her eyes showing. That's when the light blinked out. That's when the patients attacked, scratching and biting. That's when Nell screamed.

Ooc| @Coffanilla @hinatagirl2808 I’m still here. Sorry, I’ve been a little busy the past couple of days. And I never did get to go to the cemetery But we’re going there tonight. Maybe we’ll happen upon Butch Cassidy’s ghost Wish me luck haha, not too long ago my friend (the same one I’m going with) found a man hanging in a tree there. A little while later he was in the papers. Scurry crap right thurr.

“Nope. It’s just us.” Jace confirmed. Great, that meant these two hadn’t seen anyone. Lexxi and Jordan were on the first floor too, meaning that if they hadn’t seen anyone, everyone was still in the building. Jace just prayed no one had experienced the same things he and Tyler did, and that their ghostly friends were only in that area. He’d heard of buildings being haunted in only one or a couple rooms before, but never an entire place being filled to the brim with ghosts. That had to count for something, right?

Lexxi’s eyes widened and she immediately pushed past Jace and quickened her pace into a jog down the stairs. They must’ve heard someone scream and she was determined to find them. She didn’t even wait up for the others, just took off in the direction of the scream. Jace could be angry with her for this later. Despite seeing the hatchet and blood, Lexxi and Jordan hadn’t seen any actual ghosts yet. She had no idea the full capacity of what she was running into.

“Lexxi!” Jace called after her. He tossed a frantic look toward Tyler, then Jordan. At Jordan he said urgently, “Take care of her,” then ran off after Lexxi. “You loveing idiot!” He called, anger pulsing through his body, the blood in his veins like fire. The fiery hotness mixed in with the shock of despair. A cold sweat gathered on his brow as he raced down the steps, taking them two at a time. He truly felt that maybe he would lose her, and he couldn’t let that happen. He didn’t even stop to wonder if Jordan and Tyler would really stay put, or just follow along like the stubborn mules they were.

Lexxi reached a door and pounded on it, jiggling the knob to get in and thrusting her shoulder into it all at once. Surprisingly, the door swung easily swung open, the momentum of Lexxi’s hit throwing her to the floor. Her shoulder, elbow, and hips hit hard, cold cement and she let out an ”Oomph!” She’d expected the door to be much, much harder to budge. The room was pitch black, but she could see a light shining a few rooms away. She headed toward the light, calling out all the names of the rest of their friends.

#ICRrp @hinatagirl2808 @Coffanilla I'm still here! ^^ I've just been busy too. Sorry for keeping you guys waiting. @Memorie Good luck, haha. Cemeteries give me the creeps even during the day.

Mitchel looked around too. He could barely see, but he knew there was no way out anywhere around here. He could've sworn the way out was somewhere this way, too... "I don't know." He said, he grabbed Dylan's hand and continued to walk. "But let's keep going. It feels like someone's watching us," He whispered the last part, shivering slightly, but not from cold. "I really hope the others are safe." He added worriedly, "After what just happened, who knows what they've experienced..."

The temperature felt like it was dropping steadily as time went by. Elijah was actually beginning to fear he'd get hypothermia. He was shivering, tired and his lips were blue and chapped. He wrapped himself tighter within Nell's coat, licking his lips to moisten them again. Occasionally he'd hear something that sounded like fading footsteps or whispering, but other than that it seemed like he was completely alone. He sighed, perhaps he should have went with Nell. Atleast to watch her back, or something. He wasn't totally useless, but now he felt like it. He didn't even know if she was okay or not. Everything was silent. Almost like calm before the storm. Ironically, that's when he heard it. At first he wasn't sure, but the echo throughout the stairwell reassured him. The scream was undeniably Nell's. He jumped up, nearly falling back down because his legs and toes felt numb. He hobbled down the stairs as fast as he could, stumbling a few times. He prayed by time he got there Nell would be okay.

And then, they just all stopped. All the scratching and biting stopped. Nell was lying on the floor, curled up, with her arms over her face. She had managed to do that within the first few seconds of the attack, but that didn't mean they still hadn't been able to nick her. Nell stayed in that position for minutes. She was no longer screaming, she had stopped that before the attack was over. Her throat had become too raw with the screaming and it just hurt too much to scream. That didn't mean the ghosts had stopped.

No, they had screamed at her, laughed at her, but now they were gone. Nell cracked open one eye, her eyes having been closed during the attack. The light was back on, but the door was still closed. She was shaking and her cuts burned. She slowly sat up, her eyes focused on the door. Then she was in a sitting position. She looked down at her arms and she felt tears spring to her eyes. All along her arms wre cuts, zigzagging, crossing each other. They were as deep as any human's nails could go, but that was deep enough. There were even bite marks, deeper than the cuts. All were bleeding,

"Oh my God..." she said, her voice cracking. Her voice was ragged from all the screaming. It hurt to talk.

She put her head in her hands, but immediately pulled back. Her hands were now smeared with blood. It was then that she noticed her face felt eerily wet and warm, before she entered this room, it had been numb and cold. They had gotten her on the face, good too. There wasn't even a mirror in the room, she couldn't see the damage that had been done to her face. So she felt with her fingers, fining th cuts she could. There was one over her lips, another had caught her vertically on the left eye, one horizontally over her right sheet, and going across her forehead.

She brought her fingers down and wiped the blood on her now torn and dirty shirt. She could even feel bite scratch marks on her torso, hidden away by the black shirt. She slowly got up on shaky feet and walked towards the door stumbling every so often. She turned the knob and pushed. No budge. She pushed again. Nothing. She slammed her foot into the door. It cracked, but would not open.

"Damnit!" she screamed, and then clutched her throat, because it hurt to scream. She had forgotten that. Her voice was raw and hurt, her throat felt like it was on fire.

She slipped to the floor, crying, sniffing and choking on her tears. Then she noticed it, out of the corner of her eyes, a figure. She turned her head all the way, eyes wide, pupils growing smaller. In the middle of the room, just a foot or two from where she had been lying, there stood a man in a white jacket, sweater and brown pants underneath. A doctor, psychiatrist, Nell wasn't sure. His hand were behind his back. He had glasses on, so Nell couldn't tell where he was looking. His hair was a grayling white and combed back. He seemed to be looking at her, but again, she couldn't tell.

"It seems that my children didn't like you." he said, with authority in his voice. "But then again, they don't like many people. If I had to guess the person they like the least, I would have to say it would probably be me."

He smiled and Nell just stared. Not unable to scream, unable to make herself talk. She felt like she as in Hell.

OOC: GUYS I'M BACK!

Alana breathed evenly, everything was spinning. She could barely feel Colton's lips on hers. But they were certainly there. She sat up, clutching her head and groaning slightly. "Colton, I wanna go home..." She mumbled in his chest, and then started to cry. "I just want to go home and forget we were ever here. These spirits aren't ever going to be at rest, something terrible is going to happen if we don't leave quickly. I-I can feel it. And I'm freezing..." She said, shivering and leaning into him. "Where is everyone...we need to leave this place....please..." She mumbled, closing her eyes and trying to keep her strength.

Dylan squeezed Mitchel's hand tightly. "Didn't they have a back stairwell? For emergencies?" She asked him as she was walking down the hall looking for some kind of stairwell. Out of the corner of her eye. She ran towards it with Mitchel close behind her. She saw a door in front of her and peered in. It was a stairwell! "Thank Shiva." Dylan praised as she carefully went down the stairs.

Jordan hugged Tyler but she broke free and started running after them. "No!" She shouted as she followed their footsteps. She didn't want to leave them alone. They had to stick together. NO more going off in twos. Threes would be better but she heard Jordan following close behind her because she knew that Tyler was stubborn and he wanted to make sure her and Lexxi were safe.

Colton rubbed Alana's back soothingly as she began to cry. He leaned his head on top of hers and sighed. "I know, I want to go back home too. I think we all do." He bit his lip when she said she was freezing. He didn't have a sweater to give her, he wasn't even wearing one himself. He didn't think it'd be this cold. It shouldn't have been this cold, but ever since they've arrived at this asylum nothing's made sense. He pulled her closer to share what little body heat he had. "I know Nell and Elijah went back downstairs, but I don't know where everyone else is." He mumbled, "They better be okay. They didn't drag me here just to die on us." He added, feigning annoyance, but deep down he was genuinely worried. He stood up and helped Alana up slowly. "Let's go find the others. I don't think we should stay in this area much longer," He said, skin prickling and crawling.

"Maybe?" Mitchel said, unsure. He honestly didn't know, but he hoped that they did for the sake that they could get the hell out of here. He followed down the hallway looking around, too, when Dylan ran off. He ran after her, making sure they stayed close, just in case something else happened. He stood before the door beside Dylan skeptical at first before he saw that it was a stairwell, a dark stairwell, but he supposed they had no choice but to go down there. Hopefully they ran into their friends. Hopefully everyone was alright. "Watch your step," He told Dylan, protectively, as they descended. The steps were pretty steep and it didn't help that they could barely see.

By the time Elijah reached the bottom of the stairwell, the feeling in the lower half of his body returned. He looked out; there were multiple rooms but only one had the lights on. Mustering up some courage he began slowly walking towards it, ears open for any noises. That's when he saw a figure a little ways ahead walking too. He couldn't tell what it was, human or not, because despite the light at the end of the hall the rest of the hallway was still pretty dark. He paused and held his breath as he heard it call his name. He recognized it as Lexxi, but then again he couldn't be so sure. He wouldn't put it past a spirit to try to pass as one of his friends. Heart pumping adrenaline, Elijah grabbed a piece of hard debris from the floor and cautiously advanced towards the figure. "Lexxi?" He asked quietly.

Alana pressed her lips gently to his, assuring him she was okay. She knew he didn't ask but if she knew her Colton well enough he was concerned. She stood with him and rubbed her arms, bouncing on her heels a little to keep her blood pumping. "Okay, well since we know where Nell and Elijah are, we should probably go find them first. Alana looked down to her hands, and for a moment they looked to be soaked in blood. But, as she did a double take, her hands were clean. This place was messing with her head and she didn't like it at all. She gave him a 'yeah, right' look before walking alongside of him to the staircase so they could find Nell and Elijah. She really didn't want to be without Colton anymore, she was terrified.

Colton guided Alana down the dark stairwell never leaving her side. He nearly stumbled down, slipping on something wet, but he didn't even want to know what it could possibly be. He just turned his head towards Alana and told her, "Be careful." before continuing the descent. They reached the bottom floor and walked through the open door that led to a dark corridor. There were dark rooms lining the wall, but there was one with the lights on. Up ahead there was a figure, or two. He narrowed his eyes in the darkness. "Elijah?"

Elijah stopped his gait and looked back.

Colton moved towards the boy, never glad to see him more. He patted him on the back amicably just as he was hit in the head with the piece of debris. "love," He hissed out in pained, holding his forehead that was now bleeding. He fell to his knees, head ringing in pain. Elijah quickly dropped beside him, apologizing profusely. "I didn't know it was you," He said, brown eyes wide.

Dylan nodded as she continued going down the stairs with Mitchel. "You know, I think that it is weird that my parents never told me about Mary. Maybe that's why I felt sad and sick." Dylan told Mitchel as she almost fell down a step but regained her balance. She shone her flashlight on some of the walls. There were faded signs that said exit in case of emergency. She continued down the flights as she saw in dried blood 'No way out. Get out now.' "You think anyone has come here since it closed and..." She paused as she looked at him. "died?" She questioned.

The things she says...

Alana followed faithfully after Colton, nodding at his warning to be careful. She took the steps slowly, one at a time. The dark door for some reason sent shivers down her spine, and the dark hallway was no better. It was a good thing she had a flashlight, Alana had been terribly afraid of darkness ever since she was little. But then she saw there was a light on up ahead, as well as Elijah. She followed a little bit behind Colton up to the figure, not certain if it was indeed their friend. Getting closer, she could see that it definitely was. Her grin was back, she was so relieved to see he was okay. But it fell once Elijah hit Colton over the head with a piece of hard debris. She gaped in shock, and fell to her knees with Elijah to fuss over Colton. "Colton! Are you okay? Oh my god you're bleeding...Elijah...glad to see you're okay. Oh, Colton..." She mumbled, concerned terribly about him. "How bad is it hurting? Can you see? No concussion, right?" She was speaking fast, frantic for his safety. She moved his hands away from his forehead to look over his cut. "Babe, you've just gone and made a terrible mess." She teased lightly.

Both Nell and the other figure studied each other. The doctor's eyes were sunken in and his skin was grey. Now that Nell looked closer, underneath his white jacket, the was a brownish stain on his sweater. Considering where she was, Nell guessed dried blood. The man had been stabbed. Neither spoke for a while before the doctor smiled a crooked grin.

"I see you a sick too." he spoke coming closer, but before he could get more than three steps towards her, there was a sudden burst of laughter, and screaming.

Nell looked around the room, trying to find its source. It seemed to be coming from every corner of the room. The doctor seemed mildly upset, slightly angry, and even afraid.

"Damn it. I'm losing my touch at suppressing them." he spoke. Then he turned to Nel, smiling sadly. She stared back. "I'm so sorry. There's nothing I can do for you, my children are too strong. You and your companions should never have come here." said the doctor, with deep sincerity. He was truly sorry for all of this happening, and Nell could see it. It had her awestruck. "They will come and they will kill you. The door is locked by their hold and I cannot unlock it, as much as I try. They will be quick, just let them and it will end soon. Struggle and it will hurt. A final warning, whether you remain alive or die. Beware the color white. Goodbye."

And then, he wasn't there, like he had never been. Nell stared at the spot he had been standing at, as the laughing and screaming grew louder. Then. The lights flickered for a moment, and all went dark. As the lights died, there was a deafening silence. Nell wasted no time as she started banging on the door, yelling and screaming, taking the chance she had with the calm before the storm.

"Someone, please, get me the love out of here, anybody, open the goshdarned door!" she screamed, and continud screaming, though her throat was still raw and sore.

Then, what felt like claws, tore down her back, breaking skin. She let out a scream not unlike a wild animal would when thatched. The storm had come and she was caught in the middle of it.

Mitchel nodded. "Definitely weird, but I guess it never came up in conversation. Do you feel fine now, though?" He asked, concerned. Dylan flashed the light of her flashlight on to the wall and Mitchel read the worn out markings on the wall. "Atleast we know we're headed to safety. Hopefully." He muttered the last sentence, feeling sick at the sight of the next writings. It was in dried blood. "No way out. Get out now," He read aloud before saying, clearly frustrated, "But if there's no way out. How the hell are we suppose to get out?" This night was getting grimmer and grimmer. He turned to Dylan and bit his lips nervously. "It's possible. I mean, we're here.." He pointed out, trailing off. "But then again we would've seen some dead bodies by now, right? So, maybe no one was crazy enough to come here." He said, trying to reassure himself and Dylan.

Colton wiped the warm, slick blood from his eyes, groaning at how much he was probably getting all over his clothes. After this it'll probably look like he was apart of a murder. He touched the open wound on his head and bit back a moan of pain. "Yeah, I'm okay," He answered the frantic Alana. He tried to smile, but it came out as a grimace. His head was killing him."Calm down. I don't think I have a concussion. Just a really bad head injury because of this idiot." He managed to glare at Elijah, who shrank back, still apologizing repeatedly. He ignored the guy to chuckle at Alana. "Sorry, I'm sure they've got a janitor floating around here somewhere." He made a move to get up. He felt lightheaded, but he'd get over it.

"Where's Nell?" He asked Elijah, still wiping remnants of drying blood off his face with his shirt. It was already ruined, might as well ruin it some more.

Elijah turned to look at the lit room. "I think she's in there."

They walked towards it, discovering that the door was closed. Colton tried for the knob. "It's locked," Colton mumbled before calling softly through the door, "Nell?"

The lights flickered on and off, shadows dancing from the deceased who now tormented Nell, scratching her, biting her, and pulling at her hair. She cowered next to the door, choking out sobs, trying to scream, but her voice too raw to barely eve talk. She realized the ghosts were playing with her, having fun. She resisted them, not willing to die, so they we having fun with her before they killed her. All because she wanted to live.

Then she heard it, a soft voice that spoke her name, just beyond the locked door. Turning towards it, not even flinching when she felt a ghostly, cold hand slap her on the cheek, stinging the already burning scratches on her face.

"Colton?" she joked out, barely audible. "Colton! Yes, I'm here, please, help me! They're going to kill me!" she yelled, still beside the door, banging on it with a fist.

Then. Something grabbed her ankle, and yanked her away from the door. The lights flickered faster now, almost like they were irritated by the occupants of the room. Nell's nails scraped the concrete ground. She kicked wildly with both legs, her shirt riding up as she was dragged, now feeling as though she was being kicked and this viable hands grabbed her arms, pulled her air, latched onto her legs and pulled back, back to the recesses of the room, towards a dark corner whe light didn't dwell.

"Please! They're going to murder me!"

Dylan looked at him. "I hope not." She whispered as she looked at the message once more. "Death? Is that the only way out?" Dylan asked before she continued going down the stairs. There was more blood smeared on the walls. "I want to get out of here." Dylan said as her steps quickened into a run because she wanted out of here now. Those boys were going to pay for this.

Jace heard the footsteps behind him and rolled his eyes. Stubborn. Stubborn, stubborn, stubborn. Tyler would never let him catch a break, would he? Suddenly he heard another pair of footsteps clanking louder down the stairs. He hoped it was Jordan and not a ghost following them. Great, just great. When he got down to the bottom of the stairs he skidded, nearly running into Elijah. “Bro!” He was happy, then noticed it wasn’t just Elijah there. He was so grateful most of their group had made it that he almost forgot about the scream.

“Elijah?” Lexxi turned back and noticed a figure, breaking into a broad grin. “Oh my God you’re okay!” Soon Colton was right behind him and for the first time in the few years she had known him Lexxi felt like running up and hugging the guy as tight as she could. Suddenly another figure was right behind them and she recognized it as Jace. Of course he would follow after her, she had already figured that. “I think she’s in here,” she called, gesturing toward the door whether they could see her clearly or not. Just then a voice screamed right behind the door and Lexxi jumped high enough she felt like the ground was a trampoline. “Nell!” She pounded on the door, trying to jimmy the lock and ramming her shoulder into it. Jace ran up and shoved against it as well, and their weight combined made the door bust open. Nell was now across the room on her stomach, looking as though she were being dragged away. Jace lunged forward and grabbed her hands, then flipped onto his bum and tried to use his legs to gain leverage as he tried to pull her back.

As she saw Jace stop at the bottom of the stairs Tyler clung to him. "We have to stick together." She told as she looked at the others. "You guys are safe." She said while exhaling. Jordan looked at the others. "So everyone else is here but where are the lovebirds?" He questioned. He followed Jace to where the screaming was coming from. "Nell!" He yelled as he helped Jace in getting her.

As Jace and Jordan grabbed onto Nell, it seemed that the hands holding onto her simply...let her go. She fell forward into Jace and Jordan, but she didn't care. Se held onto whoever was available. She was sobbing, the salt in her tears burning the cuts on her face, the rest of her body aching and burning from the torture the ghosts had put her through.

Nell was choking on her sobs, breathing quickly, almost hyperventilating, coughing in fits every so often. Any words she said was barely comprehensible. She closed her eyes for a moment, her hands still clutching onto the shirt that she realized was Jace's, and she remembered the words that the doctor had told her. She looked up at Jace, shaking, shivering, eyes wide with pain and fear.

"Beware the color white. That's what the doctor said to me." Nell managed to choke out before the tears started to come again. Her body was shaking and cold, her skin seeming to have lost all color. Her mind was cracked. They needed to get out of there.

“Shh, shh,” Jace whispered, brushing back Nell’s short hair. It just fell back into her face and he tilted her chin up with his other index finger. “You’re okay now. C’mon, let’s get out of here.” He spoke with a quiet confidence and stood, pulling her up gently along with him. Despite seeing the look of utter fear and distress in Nell’s eyes, a strange, almost eerie calm had settled over him. Maybe he just felt it was his duty to be the strong one here, like an instinct, or maybe it was just because he’d always been pretty good at handling stressful situations. Lexxi was holding onto Jordan’s shoulder, standing on tiptoe to peek over it timidly, and Jace noticed her in his peripheral vision. “We’ve got to get out of here, guys. Now.” Lexxi looked up at the side of Jordan’s face, then back to Nell’s scratched up one, and buried her face in Jordan’s shoulder.

The things she says...

Alana was stunned, to say the least. Everything happened so fast. The boys had broken down the door and ran in to fetch Nell, and soon Jace had her, brushing back her hair and telling the poor girl soothing things. She came closer to everyone, examining Nell's face and then everyone elses. Their looks were those of pure terrified souls, and it chilled Alana to the bone. These people were her friends, some of the strongest people she knew, and they were all terrified. This place had changed everything and everyone. She didn't like it, and she just wanted to go home. She eyed Colton for a split second, the only thing good that came out of this was that she now had him. But there were too many bad things to count. "Yes, we really do need to get the hell out of here. All of this was a mistake, coming here. loveing swim team can't say crap by now, so can we all just go?" She agreed with Jace, they all needed to get the hell out and quick. Her ice blue eyes shone with fear, hurt, disgust, terror, concern, and some kind of relief. She just wanted out of this horrid place.
