I have just joined Subeta yesterday due to growing a little bored on another pet site. I am not sure how the rules go here so I wont mention that site just to be on the safe side. I havn't really checked out the rules yet, so I will be doing that now. I joined yesterday, however, I havn't been very active until today, so if anyone would like to help me out in working my way around the site then feel free to post or mail me. I am finding Subeta a little more confusing than the site I am used to. I have done the walkthrough as soon as I registered, however, further help would be great. The thing I am trying to work out right now is how to change the layout of my profile. If you know how to do that then that would be great. It's just something that's going to take a while to get used to but I am enjoying my time on here so far. A little bit about myself...I am a high intermediate roleplayer and I am a graphics maker. I am not sure if people on Subeta put a tag on their forum posts as I did, but it's something I'm just used to. Thanks for reading. :3

Hey there, I'm also pretty new. Welcome to Subeta! I came here because Neopets sucks now, haha. You can talk about other pet sites, as long as you don't endorse them in any way. The rules here are a lot more lenient than most pet sites. c: I'd love to help you with whatever I can! Like I said, I'm new... but I've been managing pretty well. Subeta was very overwhelming for me the first couple of days, but it's just because it's much more in depth and freakin' cooler than most pet sites. It's so worth it! Like Bou said, Subeta HQ has some great profiles to start you off! If you code your own layout, you can place your CSS at "Personal -- Site Preferences -- Profile". Also, under "Personal -- Edit Profile" you can edit the position/add/remove content.Ooh, there's lots of new roleplayers coming to Subeta now. Also, I haven't seen a tag like that here yet, but it's really cute!

 I am getting used to the site now. I'm pretty proud at the moment lol, though, if I do happen to need help with something, I will be sure to mail. @bro Yes, I have checked out that site, however, it's currently not working at the moment. Registration is disabled for now. I have stuck with a basic layout for now. The site I am usually on is Marapets, however, I have decided to try something new. You can catch me on Marapets seeing that it's where my life lies at the moment. Yes, Subeta does seem a bit more overwhelming, but on the upside, you can customize things more and there are a whole lot of good features. Lol the tag xD I havn't seen anyone on Subeta use them. It's a common thing in Mara. I don't think I will be using it here. Last Edit by:

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that! Ah well. Subeta Lodge has some as well! Ah, I've joined Marapets before but never stayed for long. I'm not sure why. I think I was too enveloped in Neopets at the time, haha. But I can honestly say Subeta is the best pet site I've joined, to date. c: LOL, who knows... maybe you could be a trendsetter? :p

Haha! Maybe, maybe. xD Do you know how I can place my text in the middle like yours? And do you yet know how to cash in vouchers? I have a Neopets account but I am never on it. I don't think I was devoted to the site enough. I couldn't really be bothered getting the hang of things. Marapets is where I can be found half of the time but I am getting used to Subeta and I think it's safe to say that it's 100 times better than any other pet site.

1) Sure! Go to "Personal > Site Preferences > Forum Options > Update ForumText" or just click the link I gave you. :p You can just insert the this Code: [center]forumText[/center]Click here if you want a list of the other sCodes you can use to customize your font! 2) Hmm. I've never done this before, but I would guess that by clicking the item while it's in your inventory... it should have the option somewhere. If not you can try the sP Exchange Center! It's an alright website. A bit overcrowded, haha. I was just on there for the people too, but I like Subetans much more. So what urged the transfer from completely Marapets to Subeta? ^^

Hahaha, thanks! I will get started as soon as I send this. I have not moved completely. I actually have a tab open with Mara right now. Well, there wasn't much on the roleplaying forums and it's actually full of trolls. You can't go into the Random Chat forums without being trolled out. The only reason I have not quit Mara is because I have a few roleplays on that are too good to quit. xD But if I wasn't roleplaying on there then I would of closed my account ages ago. I have not seen any trolls so far on Subeta which is good. I have actually been showered with giftboxes! xD Everyone here seems a lot friendlier and I will be checking in with the roleplaying forums also. What do you usually do around on Subeta? Do you roleplay? Collect? I will be making my way into the Graphics forums also but they seem different, so I will just nosey in at first haha. ovo

No problem! Oh yeah, I realize it wasn't a full on switch... I s'pose I didn't really know how to articulate that. Haha, poor sentence structure... it's the morning. Forgive me. :p Troll infestation?  That's unfortunate! I've never came across a troll on Subeta (/knock on wood)... then again, I've only been here about a week. I don't expect to find many; I don't think Subeta is "popular" enough to target, haha. Either that or the trolls just automatically know it's a fantastic site and decide to lay off. ;D Yes, everyone is extremely friendly, welcoming, generous, and generally awesome here. I love it! c:Personally? I quest, restock, chat of the forums (particularly the Chit-Chat section), lightly collect, and create new HAs that I'll never be able to afford haha. I haven't roleplayed since I was around eight years old and that was, well, catastrophic. So I'm a bit hesitant to pick it up again. But I'd love it try it out... someday. Are they different? I haven't noticed. I've always been pretty graphically challenged, I might avoid those areas. Subconsciously, of course. Haha. But you should definitely try it out! If you want to get into the Graphic Market here and sell your work someday, you might consider offering graphic freebies to broaden your portfolio and get a nice little following. At least, I know that's what artists (drawing) do when they want to get into the art market! I'm guessing it's pretty similar. c: Edit: Oh my dear lord, I talk way too much. Embarrassing. ;~;

Morning? It's 4:55pm in Scotland. ;A; Yeah. They troll people out of the forums. If you haven't been a member of a certain forum for a good few years then your an outcast. I was always taking over the Roleplaying forums, so to be a new member in the land of Roleplaying feels really weird! I already notice some good roleplayers in Subeta which is what I was looking for. I know! Everytime I refresh a page, I have lots of Giftboxes waiting. Subeta changes trolls into welcoming, friendly people. :3 Oh, I see! I have never been good at restocking guuuu. Collecting is fun though! I am also not a huge collector, though, there are some interesting things on Subeta. Roleplaying is a good way to pass time. I am such a big nerd when it comes to roleplaying so I spend a whole day doing it. Well, in Mara, they have the Graphics and Programming Forums. Graphics was for everything. Live Art Auctions, Flatsales, Freebies ect. Programing was for site/club layouts. Here they have seperate and well organised forums. :3 Yeah. That's a good way to approach graphics. You're Scottish. Way to make me feel even more lame. Well, it's almost noon here... sort of morning. c; That's sad! I hated that about Neopets too, it was always so cliquey in most of the forums. Haha, I'm sure you'll feel right at home after a couple RPs! I've been here 'bout a week and this already feel like my turf. ♥ Happy to see you've already noticed some good ones, yayayay. LOL, I wouldn't be surprised if it does. xD Me either, but it's super easy here. Especially late at night, when there's only a few hundred online. I'm kinda of a shopaholic so I'm fine with buying million sP gifts for others, but when it comes to my own collections... that's different. I'm such a cheapo. It's the same in real life, too. I have money issues, hahaha.  Yup, Subeta has a lot to offer! I hardly ever get bored... there's something I can do in any of my strange moods. Haha NICE, what do you usually roleplay? I feel like I'd be able to pick up on roleplaying if I tried, and I KNOW it would definitely help my development of characters I play in real life (I'm an actor). I'm just so tentative, I don't know why. Insecurities. Haha.

Welcome to Subeta. I remember joining a few years back, I used to move between a few of the big pet sites, but i've now completely moved here. Usually, I just collect stuff, do some quests, save some points, spend them. I like restocking here too because it's a bit slower than the other big sites. Don't feel afraid to jump into anything on here, i've yet to meet someone on here that wasn't nice. Also, I see that Bro is helping you right now, but if there is anything else you need, always feel free to ping,message, or comment me. I'm online off and on throughout the day.

There is nothing great about Scotland. Notice how proud I am of the country ughhhh. Time zones are weird things. xD Yeah, I know what you mean. I feel really comfortable here already and this is my third day. (I think) Yep. I can see Subeta coming into my everyday routine haha. Hahaha! Greetings fellow Shopaholic! :3 Whenever I get money, I MUST spend it, even if things are just going to collect dust. Right now, I am just trying to find some good clothes. I like how the shops restock every few minutes. I usually roleplay supernatural things. I refuse to do human roleplays. Shocking right? I'm refusing our own kind. Gifted is my best genre though. I'm a sucker for a detailed Gifted Roleplay dfghdfgh Your an actor? That's amazing! I have always wanted to be an actor, however, I can't act. xD I do drama at school but I'm not saying I'm good at it. Are you an student or do you actually go and act in front of audiences ect? And what kind of things to you usually act out, genre wise? ~ @Pinkviolins Ah, so you are an experienced member? I have noticed that Subeta stands out more. The only pet sites I am aware of right now is Mara, Subeta and Neopets. I am only on Subeta and Mara however. As I said, if I wasn't so devoted to a few of the roleplays I am in on Mara, I would of closed down my account like...two years ago! It's nice to meet you though. You can never have to much help! I will be sure to keep you in mind also if I ever get stuck at anything! Thank you!

Honestly, I don't much about Scotland. But from a typical-American-who-knows-nothing POV... Scotland is gorgeous, has castles, lovely people, and kilts. My knowledge is extensive, I know. Woopwoop! Don't you just love forming new addictions? Hahaha, YES! Free for a shopping spree? c: The main shops don't do much for me, clothes-wise. I usually plan out what I want to wear on arvee and then look for the items here. Subeta Lodge has a very nice section for wearables as well. Also, if you go to "Clothes > Use Clothes From > All Clothing..." in your wardrobe, there's a full list of clothing by type. LOL. Basically, clothes are everywhere. *-* No worries, I refuse our own kind in the real world all the time. Haha. Just curious though, why the preference of non-human roleplay? Gifted seems cool. I've always wondered exactly what it is, though. Are the characters their own type of species, based off of humans, or what? Yessir. Aha thanks. I s'pose it is... somewhat. I've been acting since I was three, but it seems like everyone does it nowadays. LOL. I'm sure you're alright. Acting is basically just doing. The "worst" actors are the ones who try to do anything more than that, I think. It's still cool that you take the class, whether you're "good" at it or not. What got you into the class? I'm still very much a student, but I go to a high school for the arts (almost all forms of art, I major in musical theater). I also do community theater in town and get paid under the table for some things. Mostly singing related. Hmm, I don't think I have a specific genre. You don't get to choose a majority of the time and I'm a pretty versatile actor (I hope). However, I'm very short and young looking so typically whenever they need someone to play a child without getting a child, I'm their girl. LOL. Other than that, I don't feel very type-casted. I TALK SO MUCH. Somebody stop me, haha.

I like this pinging feature, 'tis so cool! *simpleton* Well, you have most of it nice. Apart from the lovely people part. It depends where in Scotland you go however. I've lived in the nicest of places to the roughest. Scotland isn't very exciting. The food sucks compared to everywhere else. Jeez, I should get an award for being most proud of his country! /SHOT I do live forming new addictions. My newest addiction is Oreos. :3 *random but it had to be done* Pffchhpffchhh I would join you on a shopping spree once I trade my cardboard box for a shed at least! xD I am going to build up my money first. Thanks for the tips though! I still need to check out the Subeta Lodge. Usually I am not too fussed about clothes in real life, but it's just something in pet sites that makes me want to dress all formal like. Hopefully in a few days time I will have a more appealing appearance lol-de-lol. Gifted? Meh...well...In Mara, we just had them as humans with a super power of some form...which doesn't make them humans. But yeah, they do look like humans. I have Oc's with the power over Darkness, Water, Shadows, Sonic Energy, the ability of flight, invisibility ect. And I don't know...I just find human roleplays...bland. Again, I am downing my own kind, but all sorts of things happen in my mind. Unicorns, rainbows...non-humans. xD I joined the drama class at a young age so I don't quite remember. It was probably because so many of my friends wanted to try it out. I was about seven at the time so being a sheep, I followed. Turns out now that I am the only one of my friends that are still in the class. ;w; A high school for the arts? They don't have many of these here! Well, they do, but they are universities and I am still in high-school. Bahhh you are so lucky to have such schools! How long have you been going to the school? It's cool! Children are the best characters! I have quite a good amount of Oc's ranging from the ages of 6-13. Most of my characters are about 17-20 but I do have older characters too. That sounds really interesting. So, you really don't mind who you play? Y'all just do it? :3 NO TALKING IS GOOD FOR THE...BRAIN?

the rule for other pet sites is that you can mention and discuss but you can't promote. and i can help you out if you'd like. just let me know. or if you want to roleplay. i love roleplaying. like, a ton. and art. i'm saving up for either a new camera for photography or the cintiq tablet. i'm not too sure yet. but i'm a far way from my goal so i have time to think it out. and as long as you promise not to eat me, i'll be your friend. and if you do eat me, i'll blame @bro for putting me in the situation.

Haha! I do enjoy me some Oreo's. And I see. On Mara, they filter other names of other pet sites so you have to put 'Ne0pets' or Sub.eta. xD You like roleplaying and art? That's good news hahaha. I don't think I am motivated right now so if I roleplay right now, I might be all over the place but if you do want to roleplay sometime then just let me know and I will lob a mail your way when I feel more...writey. You like photography? I like it too! I have a few pictures saved on my laptop that I have taken but I am just starting out. Cintiq tablet? I haven't heard of those. Are they any good? I use a Bamboo Wacom. Bamboo Fun - Medium. I promise not to eat you. ;w; For now anyway. ;D

dude, just send me a message whenever. i have quite a few people i need to reply to now that i think of it.... whoops. XD and i'm taking it as an elective my senior year, so i'm hoping to get the NIkon FM10 Film because it's manual photography with the dark room and chizz. and the wacom cintiq is much better, or it appears to be. for 1k it better be. lol. do you know how many pairs of shoes i could buy with the money? haha i have the bamboo create - the really big one - but my mind can't handle the transition from tablet to screen as opposed to the cintiq which is like legit digital paper. this is the tablet cause i'm sure this helps get the picture of what it is. Yeah, Mara is full of trolls. It's rather straight forward though but I prefer Subeta. And Neopets just didn't work for me. It took me a while to get used the transition from the tablet to screen but now, it's all good. I take it you are rich right now? xD I am alright with money right now, but I don't think I could buy as many pairs of shoes as you. Why would I even blow it all on shoes? xD I'm a shopaholic in all things music, books and video games. I also like to buy the latest gadgets. That tablet looks good! You could buy a good few Bamboos with 1K haha! It must be worth the money if I thought Bamboo was good. And sure, I will mail you somtime. i can't do it. i try and fail because i draw at an angle so it turns out crooked on the screen. i'm not rich, but i'm saving. i'm only a senior in high school after all. XD i need to find a job though, but being only 16 i'm probably going to have a hard time with that too. but shoes? why not shoes? i love shoes. it runs in the family on my mom's side. literally. it's a terrible addiction. and a fancy one. but i might bend and spend money on a 3DS and Pokemon: Conquest. i'm a sucker for Pokemon. i got the create for x-mas, but if i succeed with the cintiq i'll probably sell it to someone who will actually use it. no need to hoard something i can't work with. and please do. i love making new roleplaying partners. c:
