So around 9:30 last night I was piddling away making a new AC3 profile layout when fire crew came banging on our door tell us there's a brush fire on out 5 acres of nothing but brush heading our way. The property line backs up to about 10 feet from the house. The fire moved from about 600 yards in less then half an hour before we were forced to pack up the cats and dogs and evacuate to the neighbors house. It took about another 2 hours before they had it contained, and around midnight we were finally able to go back home.

A little to much excitement for me thanks, I'm glad I decided not to go out with friends and stay home instead.

But I seriously just want to castrate whoever started it.

Honestly there's just some people too stupid to be trusted with big people toys. :/ I'm glad everyone made it out okay and no one got hurt, this could have been so much worse than it was.

I don't know how you handled that. D': *hugs* I hope you get today off of work since, you know, your house almost went up in flames.
