the first few quests were worth it, but now he's asking for something that's selling for 370k+! ugh, anyone else experiencing these same bouts of mixed luck with the computer geek quests?

i'm kind of new to the site, so what are the best quests to do?

Most quests will sometimes ask for items with prices that are larger than their payouts. The only thing you can do about that is fail the quest and hope for better luck in the next one. Computer Geek quests, from what I've read, are a favourite for many users. I usually do the Wizard and the Saggitarius quests, and when I have the time: Maleria and Cursed quests.

thanks for the tips! yeah, his quests were decent at first, but i guess it's just a luck of the draw thing, really. i guess i'll have to wait until i can save more sP to afford the quests, haha. however, i was able to get an item out of him worth 950k-ish, but i'm having a hard time selling it. ._.'

No prob ^^ Sarah's quests at Veta Lake is handy for making sP! She'll cut you off when if you have 500k - but at that point you should be able to do other quests. Expensive items might take a little longer to sell depending on how useful/popular it is to users.

also, i'm having an issue with major drills' quests right now...i bought a golden hipottu beanbag for my pet to play with because that was one of his requests...and the beanbag won't go away! it's like stuck in my inventory, and no matter how many times i play with my pet, it's still showing up on the quest that i haven't done it! haha

Your pet needs to not have a full happiness meter to play with the item.

Also, for computer geek quests, try not to pay more than the following based on rarity per item:

Really common: 1.5K
Mundane: 3K
Common: 5K
Normal: 7.5K
Rare: 10K
Super rare: 12.5K

If you follow those guidelines, you should be making over 100K a day from his quests.

Take away your pet's minion and their happiness will drop in time. It probably will be too slow for a Major Drills quest though. I recommend doing his quests when you have at least one pet with low happiness.
