Why hello everybody of Subeta!

This is my first time on this site and it looks quite promising! I'm an animation major in college and I like an inordinate amount of art, so be prepared guys I might just draw you something decent. I love artsy people and friends of any kind so don't be shy and hit me up! Interesting description about myself no?

I also have one other question, comparatively to other sites it seems like my pet's hunger and happiness drop EXTREMELY quickly here. Is it normal for you to feed your pets a crazy amount of food only for the bar to be at the bottom within a few hours? It seems a little strange xD Let me know your experience!

Being an animation major sounds really cool!
I've been trying to improve my art skills over the years, particularly in digital art, but it's a slow process, lol.

I'm not sure about hunger and happiness meter. o: That's interesting, though.

Hello and welcome to Subeta! I don't use other pet sites anymore so I can't make a comparison, but the food and happiness bars do act weird imo. Some of my pets will hit zero on both while others will just be extremely hungry but extremely happy and I dunno why. If you feed them until they are full, they should be fine until the next day or so. I just throw mine into the resort for two weeks so they are always fed and happy, but I've been forgetting recently =x

@ That's great though! Any digital art abilities are better than none and it proves you have drive to learn stuff in a foreign environment

you can't double ping in a post. you have to delete the ping, save the change, then add the ping back in with an edit.

@ Thanks mate! =D And yes, I have done some stop motion work and it's quite fun. Mostly just for some typography projects, otherwise I'm pretty glued to using Maya, Mudbox, and Z-brush for character modeling. =] I'd love to work with it more! Do you work with stop motion? =O

welp, i had to look all of those up but they look very interesting, not to mention less tedious than stop motion - are they?
i study art & design so i'm afraid there's not much about animation i know (other than that it takes ages) but yeah, we recently started a stop motion class.

@ I wish that were so... D8 They are very different mediums but I'd have to hand it to Maya for being a world class jerk of a program, it's the most time wasting tedious thing I've ever touched... ever. o-o But hey that's amazing! Are you looking into the graphic design field then? I wish my mind could think like that sometimes!

haha, sort of like indesign then? one of my friends studies photography and she keeps going on about how god awful that program is.
nah, i'm probably going to end up doing something with my 3D classes because i'm strangely hesitant about using my computer for work. what about you? are you going to go to uni after this?

@ Yeah! I quite like InDesign, I'd pick it over Illustrator any day but yeah it takes awhile to catch on!
That's great though! I agree, you have to keep your passion for art, it's a shame when you can't love what you do anymore. We'll I'm working on my Bachelors right now and I may go back to college to get a masters if I can't manage to get an internship, apparently it's getting really hard to find work without a masters but then that's so much more moneyyy xD
