@ and @ so attending and watch me go home with blisters all over my feet. Just a heads up I will probably bring something to eat as its a habit of mine whenever i go to any kind of gathering.

I'm so happy to hear there will be a meetup in Toronto =D -lives in Ottawa- I might actually be able to make it (if work doesn't get in the way, of course).

Nice to see that Canada is getting some love!
While I want to visit Vancouver, I don't think I will be making the trip up in August. Have fun everyone that attends!

Blarg! Finally in Canada, but on the opposite side of the continent! >.< I want to go so badly. But we are going to Heavy MTL on August 11!! Come to Montreal and see an awesome concert instead? x)

Okay guys, I hate to sound like a jerk, but all of this future Ontario meet-up talk is starting to make this board REALLY off-topic, so please bring it to comments/sMails or another board all together! This is supposed to be for people to discuss the Vancouver meet-up =) Thanks!

Also yes, @oilbird, non-Subeta players are more than welcome to attend! We've turned quite a few people into Subeta players at meet-ups, actually xD

For those of you going to this one but are not from Vancouver I have a recommendation for you buy a packet of faresavers as parking in Vancouver is ridiculously expensive. If your coming from YVR airport I highly recommend this. If you are driving though park at the South Surrey park and ride and take a bus that says its going to Bridgeport station. The following buses commuted to their to my knowledge the 351, 352 and 354. Came from Victoria take the 620 from Tswassen if that is where you came off. Nanaimo use the 250 and get off at Denman. For those of you riding the skytrain (Canada Line) get off at Vancouver city center and walk across the street and take any bust between 240-255 to Denman street. If its nice out i recommend walk along the seawall for a bit til you get to the street where the aquarium is (do not visit it in the summer as rates are higher and its so crowded its hard to move) Go up the street to the Aquarium but go past it till you get to Lumberman's arch which will be the meeting place.

Hopefully my instructions are clear for those who have never been to Vancouver before as you do not want to waste money on parking.

Oh and here is a map of Stanley park for you guys to look at on how to get to the meeting spot

Haha, I'd.. feel bad if I did that, tbh, because I'm here for a funeral and I don't think I should really be away from family. u_u;
Oh well, I'm in Vancouver every 3-4 years or something, maybe they'll have another meetup next time.

@ ah that is understandable then. My condolences to your family.

I will admit Vancouver is probably the best Location to have one in BC and not somewhere like Kelowna which takes too long to get too.

I'm very happy that there are going to be meetups in Canada too. And this one is so close - just separated by that annoying ferry trip and on a day that I'm busy. If you ever hold one on Vancouver Island I'll try my hardest to attend.

@ exactly. I think they picked a convenient location for it as Vancouver is easier to get to then Kelowna to be honest and its easier on those coming from Vicotria to attend

Ahh, I would love to go to this. Its the closest I've seen a meetup to alaska. <_< but its still way to far. Sad Face.
