Haha! No bake cookies don't have eggs in them, for one thing. Snowball cookies only have flour and butter. There are thousands of types of cookies that don't always have eggs or other typical ingredients.

@ i have never heard of these no bake cookies before and what is a snowball cookie? Now you have me curious but i am looking forward to the meetup even if i'm not the most sociable person.

@ indeed as i hope we have nice weather for the meetup since it will be August usually its sunny then i think. Also curious as to how many people will be attending.

OH MAN I'M TOTALLY GONNA COME TO THIS. Can't believe I didn't hear about it sooner and I'm glad I heard about it before it passed haha! If you guys are gonna bring baked goods, maybe I could make some macarons? (Which I love baking but can't eat too many of without feeling sick :B)

Hayrie does the Yukon not have Westjet so you would be able to attend?

airfare is pretty pricey at the moment so I totally understand those who can't make it out >.<

still I'm super excited to meet people

I'll be getting dressed in me frills and driving down (so if you need a ride I can pick people up along the way). I can only stay a couple of hours though since I have a couple of other events to head to on Sat >.<

@ I'm in the same boat so I'll be bringing a parasol with me as I burn super easily even with sunscreen on.

@ ah nice i have to use a special time of sunscreen as most kinds irritate my skin. I am excited and nervous about meeting the people and i have a bus ride and a a train ride to get to the meetup but it will be worth it i think as the planned meeting area looks shady to me.

@ - will you be staying in the lumberman arch area or will you move to other parts of the park? i'm going to try and be there by 1pm but i'm coming from the island so it'll be dependent on ferry travel.

We'll be staying there til at least 1:30, but if we can find a comfortable (dry) spot, we'll probably stay throughout the meetup!

Please quit saying we planned it on purpose. We didn't, and it's getting very frustrating to hear you say that. Considering @hagane and I are from Washington, not BC, we had no idea this sort of thing was going on - and neither did @Lavabeast.

For those of you wondering, supposedly tomorrow there is some sort of flash mob water fight going on that we might potentially get stuck in. Come prepared, and if needed, we'll move. It's not the end of the world!

FYI EVERYONE - hagane and I cannot use our phone's bandwidth once we're in Canada (we don't have "international" plans, haha) - so this won't be updated much between now and the meetup! Try to get there by 1:30 in case we need to move, but hopefully we'll be staying in the same spot throughout the day! See you all in a few hours!

It was super fun meeting everyone. I wish I hadn't been triple booked and had to run off so early >.< I'm going to slowly add those I can remember to my friend's list XD if you don't mind

@ - if I find another one 2nd hand in good condition I'll let you know

I plan on hitting Japan again and going through all the lolita second hand stores in Tokyo XD

@ - I'll let you know when I head south of the border and grab some Timbits for you. I think the next time I pass by will be on the 26th in the morning. BTW I wanted to draw a happy thingy in your book but had to take off before I had the chance to ask if I could XD maybe next time XD. Anyhoo will start a thread somewhere on being a timbit runner for you WA peeps whenever I head down lol
