Drawers seem like a useful tool... Do you use them at all? What kind of drawers do you have?
I'm wondering if it's worth it to organize your wardrobe by color, or if that would just be way too much work.

Yessssss I absolutely do and they're so hugely useful to me. I use them a LOT. I'm an organisation freak yay. I did it a while back when I had around 9K wardrobe items though and now I have probably like 14K or something.

My drawers:
Eyes
Lips/mouths
Piercings
Glasses
Masks
Animals/creatures
Wigs
Tattoos
Custom Wearables

Wow! Do you remember around how long it took you? Organizing 9k items sounds like a ton of work. :0

That's amazing, Lol. Would you ever make some drawers based on colors or themes? I can imagine that might take longer to do.

No, never. :'D Mainly because I think 20 drawers is the max and some 'black' clothing items are arguable more 'grey' and then there are clothing items that are more than one colour. Plus, when scrolling, things tend to be very roughly in colour-order anyway due to it being alphabetical.

I personally don't organize my wardrobe. I almost always wear what I have on my HA right now so I don't see why I should even bother. Not to mention that 5K wearables is too much to sort through.

Buying discounted Kumos items and intelligence boosters.

That's a good point! To me, drawers for eyes/wigs/etc are more useful because they don't always have "eyes" or "wig" in the item name.

Ah, I see... I suppose that is an upside of not changing one's HA very much

Exactly.

'Wigs' is also very useful because they're all just under the 'head' category and there are a lot of head items when I sometimes just want to see actual hair.

I organize everything by color. It's such a hassle to manage (and I procrastinate a lot...) but it's so useful for color coordinating.
My drawers are: Red Blue Black White Pink Purple Brown Green Yellow Orange Grey Turquoise Cream Burgundy
As a result of this, I hate multi-colored items |:

Hmmm, that's interesting... Did it take you a long time to organize it at first and do you remember around how many clothes were in your wardrobe?

I didn't have that much stuff in my wardrobe when I began organizing it by color (and I still don't!), so it was pretty manageable. I only have 650 items now, lol.
Oh, I forget all the time..... but I try to keep things organized (: Or else, I just can't make new HAs.

I tried to sort by colors...and then I gave up xD

R : oh : Y : G : V : P : W : B1 : B2 : B3

I realized that my groupings were too broad, and I kept forgetting to update after I added new items 8'D

Eh, not really. The only drawer I have is one for Custom wearables. Otherwise, I think the layer categories that the wardrobe have by default is good enough for me xD *lazy*

Hmm, I never thought about it until now. I guess I would go through all my bottom and top layers, since those are the ones I have the most clothes in, and organize them into different categories. For the chest items it might be something like 'corsets,' 'halters,' 'tank tops,' 'vests,' etc. The bottoms would be easier, something like 'shorts,' 'skirts' , 'jeans' and 'pants'

Same here. I have ~3,000 things in my wardrabe, so I think if I started organizing by color, I wouldn't be able to go through with it. ;.;

Haha! I'm trying to get the wardrobe achievements so I sorted clothing by lowest rarity first on SubetaLodge and went from there... I've gotten to the 37th page and most of the items still only cost 1,000 sP or less. XD

I keep thinking this would be a really good idea to do because wading through junk to find items I want can be annoying... but at the same time I just got my 13k wardrobe achievement so... that will be A LOT to organize so I keep procrastinating

Wow, good luck! I'm SO glad that when making Drawers you can filter it by layers and search terms... Otherwise it would take much, much longer. x_x

Haha yes! I am actually starting to organize... right now, and sorting by layers is a HUUUGE help.

I think I would at least like a drawer for my wigs and my eyes :|a Wigs at the very least! Maybe if I tackle it a little at a time I can eventually move on to other categories and it won't seem like such a huge task :|a

I am kind of beating myself up for not getting it earlier ;___; IT COULD HAVE BEEN SO EASY, but nooo, I just had to make it harder for myself.
On a different note, which color wardrobe drawer should I put

in? gray or blue?

Also I think that looks more blue

It might look different depending on the person's monitor... I think mine is closer to true color. On an old HA I used, a friend of mine said part of the darker white clothes looked more beige. XD

If I had that many clothes, I would just say forget it. I think I'll be happy if I can just organize the chest and over chest items since those give me the most difficulty finding things

Not really.. I kind of forget that feature of the wardrobe exists most of the time. XD

I tried the feature when it first came out and then pretty much never used it after.
