Edit: SUPPOSED FIX.I'd be derelict in my duties if I didn't post this for my fellow Assassin's Creed players: Ubisoft Caught Installing DRM Rootkit on Users' Machines. Basically, the summary if you don't know the geek speak, is that Ubi coded in (or didn't code in as the case is) a section of software and left a "back door" in all their games (computer platform only.) This back door is only made if you happen to have a uPlay account which is something that allows a user to download extra content for their games. This back door makes it possible for any hacker that knows their coding to hack into that computer and take over their computer. In short, it's asked of that everyone that has any kind of UbiSoft game on their computer right now to uninstall it asap until the problem is fixed. Last Edit by:

...I feel bad for the loyal fans who were affected by this. As much as I like(d) Ubisoft, I hope they get what's coming to them. @Yusuf Your HA is beautiful.

@Billy I edited in a possible solution, at least a Ubi official one. @Rienza I wouldn't wish any of this on them or the fans or... anything like that, after the mess with Link... *sigh* (Also, thank you.)

 If I were anyone, I would not support paying their PC games anymore. This is ridiculous and they really could have caused some trouble.

 sounds to me like this wasn't something they were trying to make happen, it was just an oversight...as long as they do what they can to fix it, then... i'll still stick to playing their games on console though =P

@Svanhild @kumoskunk It was an oversight on their part that they had a patch out for within a few hours but I would seriously reconsider playing on a computer after this mess.
