This, folks, is why it's important to have 3 attackers in your set. xD

Got 4 amulets out of 10 wins against him, can't complain.

5 wins and no amulets so far, bummer

. Also lol at the fact that the last time I played amulets were half this price. Almost 1m for one, wow!

They are not too great lmao but I'm using RIWoD and dragon soul as my main attackers since together they block quite a bit of water and ice and then I have a phoenix quill, subetaball, cursed irion chestplate, recycle blaster, and malerias clawed glove just in case. I really tried to work my strategy around crippling him with RB and subetaball and then with RIWoD and dragon soul there's a pretty high chance to freeze him. I tried using Daemon but even though it blocks all water it's not very helpful since it offers no offense.

@ I have a Trident and a RIWoD which is what I used as my attackers. Plus an Acorn bomb, which helped a wee smidgen. I don't think I even used my Subetaball. LOL, I might have to try that next time. I'll have to get a RB then, I think that's the one thing you used that I don't have. (Oh, and the Dragon thinger)

honestly my set is all about luck with freezing and stealing/blasting the right weapons. I'm sure there's a more solid set out there but for me it probably doesn't matter too much since I don't think I would make it very far with a tier 6 pet anyway. I would try to switch out your trident with something though since almost half of its icons are water

I got two wins in on Moradon, I'm quite proud. It's the first Very Hard I ever beat (so I went back, surprised, and beat Fish Breath). I don't think with my set I'll beat him a third time or get to the elusive five but I'm not positive.

If anyone wants better weapons for their tier, I don't think that shop is going to be the answer. Those items are pretty pricey...check the New Weapon Guide Thread for good items in your tier.

Anyone have any suggestions if any of the weapons in the cruise shop are worth sinking money into at tier 8?

I'm a little overwhelmed right now since I've been gone most of the day haha

So....would the Cork Tipped Cutlass be a good investment? My pet's only tier 7, though I managed 5 wins against Moradon with him.

Edit: it will be my first weapon in a tier higher than 7..

I was able to clear Moradon fairly easily the first 6-7 times with my Trident and Malice and just healing along the way. Kills 8-10, I had to switch up and use my Rapier of Error instead of my Malice and freeze him while defending the water/ice attacks. Once I managed to freeze him, I used the siren harp to get another free round of attacks in, and laid into him every round after that with perilous whirlpool scrolls combined with the rapier of error and the trident to heal. If I didn't freeze him, I died. If I was frozen, I died. But every round I killed him was because I kept him frozen.

Wow, I guess I need to get some scrolls then. I haven't yet managed to freeze him. I got the kill because I used a ton of pylonics. LOL.

@: Some of your item tags are a bit messed up haha.

I think you should focus on stealing/blasting his stronger items and try to keep a good water/ice defense when attacking.

For those asking about the Cork Tipped Cutlass, here are the stats on it:

Heals 7%; not considered a healer

3 mod slots

It might not be too useful against these water-resistant baddies, but I can see it coming in handy later on.
