  Hello lovely people! I'm running low on funds and I haven't done an auction in AGES, so I thought I'd throw something out there and see what happens! hoar is now pax. @cads It's my pleasure. You deserve even much more love for both the merit of your artwork and for you! I'm actually on the same boat! Prior to the little pixel chibis I've been making recently, the last time I was decently pixelling things was back in 2010. I made ONE attempt at 2011, just to turn it into a vector :"D I still do want to get better at vexel and vector styles, but I found that I miss pixelling A LOT. ;n; ♥

@Hoar Ahh yeah! It can definitely be frustrating, especially when you can't quite grasp the style you're after. I'm still learning how to do the lineless pixel style effectively, god knows I've had my frustrations with it xD I'm really trying hard to get into the animation side of pixel art, and it's much harder than I ever thought! I've even been thinking about releasing another doll base for pixelling, but it's sooo much work @n@ Vector styles are a lot of fun, but nothing compares to doing each tiny little pixel one at a time until you zoom out and get the result you want! ♥ art shop - cw shop - deviantart - tumblr |

 hoar is now pax. @cads Judging from your examples, however, you're able to nail the style rather well! :"D Animating pixel art got me rather frustrated at a certain point, with how all I use to make my animated pixels are MS Paint (Windows 7 and its terrible version of it,) UnFREEz, and GIFfy. I've recently been using the Pixel tool on Paint Tool SAI, which thankfully is easier to pick colours with. My process remains the same as my old MS Paint things, though. I have to admit that the entire pixel-by-pixel process is the charm of pixelling for me. In the online communities where I used to frequent, pixel artists were looked down upon, so I got surprised to see people who actually appreciate it elsewhere! ♥ Wishing you the best of luck with this auction and the rest of your art!

#cadaver #artsale Hey people, a little reminder! Just under two hours left on the auction, so if you want a piece of one-of-a-kind pixel art, get your bids in quickly! @Hoar Aw wow, thank you very much! I agree, windows 7's version of paint is just awful for pixelling. SAI would work pretty well, having layers & canvas flipping would certainly help  Atm I've been doing my pixelling in Photoshop CS5 but I've been thinking of switching back to SAI just for simplicity's sake. I like your animations, though! They're very smooth and flow really well. The couple pieces of pixel art I've spotted in your forumset are really cute. We should do a collab or something sometime!  @ROCK Aw ily too dollface! You should just save your funds for your Siren Dagger! ♥ Last Edit by:

hoar is now pax. @cads You deserve it. c: And gah, I agree with you there. For that matter, I have not touched the native MS Paint on my new installation of 7, because of how terrible it is for the purpose. My roommate finally agreed to let me borrow her USB and install PSCS5 on my laptop, since our university gave her a free license for it, as she is a multimedia arts student. I've found that it's MUCH easier to animate gifs in there, though I still do the first frame on SAI, for some reason. I've just been too comfortable with it. And aw, thank you very much as well! I am elated to know that you like them - I have always strived to make my pixel animations as smooth as I could. I actually like that idea! I'll be sending my references once I return from groceries, connection has been lagging terribly for me the past few hours. :c
