Okay, I just found out about this site (Creepy Pasta), and my mind is just blown. o.o

Hah, I just really like the thrill of mysterious and chilling stories!

My personal favorite story is The String Theory.

What Creepy Pasta entries give you the jilly willies, and have any of you made some of your own?!

@mOnster_pants
I like to read Creepy Pastas about hacked/haunted video games. I guess they just hit closer to home because I'm a gamer, so I'd probably pass out if something like that ever happened to me. hah.

Like the Pokemon Black and Lavender Town Syndrome stories. And the one about the haunted Majora's Mask game. LOVE those.

I just really like creepy pasta in general though. I love to be scared. :3
I've never written any though. I don't think I'd be good at scaring people. I'd give it away too early or something, or make it too predictable... Idk.

@HeyBrittany

Haha, I actually love reading stories in that genre. c; Have you read Ben? That's a good one.

I am interested in various kinds of creepy pastas, but I can't seem to make any unique ones of my own.... They always tend to branch off of other stories. ^^

@mOnster_pants, I've read some of the video game ones too, but none have ever really gotten to me. I've read tonnes of creepypasta. It takes a lot to disturb me or make me nervous at all though. XD

There was one that did get to me a little though. I can't remember the title, but basically a kid got out of bed during the night to use the bathroom, and he heard a scream in his parents' room. Terrified, he dashed madly back to his room and dove under the covers, heart pounding and breathing ragged. He listened, hearing footsteps, but they eventually went silent. He was confused and disorientated and scared, and then heard something.

It was under his bed.

Opening his eyes, he could make out words on his wall. Written in his parents' blood, it read:

"I know you're awake."

Ohhhh, that sounds so creepy, I'd hate to be in that situation.

I also read lots of creepypastas... Have you read The Bad Dream? It made me really uneasy. You should go check it out!

Ohhh, somehow I always end up reading creepypasta late at night ...

And I know the story that you're talking about, it's called "I know you're awake."
here, for the curious.

I also like the Russian Sleep Experiment. It's a pretty good read.

I actually haven't read many creepypastas, except some pokemon ones like Lavender Town Syndrome, Hypno's Lullaby, or Lost Silver. I'm too freaked to read any of them like Squidward's Suicide or Ben.

I've been tempted too, though.

(ALSO SMOSH.

@mOnster_pants

I read Button Day just now. It was pretty good, but not traditionally scary in the monster or ghost sort of way. It was creepy though, and it’s terrifying to imagine a day when the government has such a strong hold on the people.

Another good creepypasta is “In the Kitchen.” It’s really short, so I’ll copy-paste it here.

Same, actually. I feel like the ones less than 100 aren't worth it. Which is kind of snobbish of me. xD

Do you mean "Friends"? I saw it, it's the top or something. Honestly, it was too long, and I skipped over it.

@tomaton same here! and yeah, that's one of the chapters. c: thb it is super long...but it was my first nosleep and a really good one. there was a kickstarter to get it published, i think.

My faves include Slenderman, Jeff The Killer, Candleja... lol, The Rake, and there's a few others in there that are reeeeeally creepy but I can't recall the names of them.

I've gone so far as to find tumblrs dedicated to creepypasta/scary stories just to find more urban legends :3

I've really gotten into Slenderman and The Rake because they have the whole historical value or whatever where they're "actual urban legends" and that creeps me out really badly - and of course the video game ones. Specifically the Majora's Mask/Ben story and the haunted Super Mario games. They. Creep. Me. Out. I stayed up all night several days in a row after reading up on the Majora's Mask/Ben story because I was literally terrified to sleep at night, LOL.
