Well, no, I love driving.
It's other people I don't like driving.
Is it really that hard to use a turn signal? Must you hold up everyone at that green light because you're too busy chatting on your cell phone to notice? Is it really hard to signal that you want in my lane?
This all just happened, and all I was doing was going to get some tacos.
All the rage, man. All the rage.
But, I got my tacos. So I suppose it's all good now.

Bad driving experiences, CC?

People who get out of their cars and rage out at each other over stupid, petty things. While blocking the road with their cars. I'll never understand why they don't just carry on driving. Just have to get out of your car and start smashing on someone's window, such a brilliant idea.

@Luci
I'm not really an overly aggressive person, but I hate how many people are exactly this while they're driving ugh
Once I was coming out of a sidestreet, and my view of one half of the street I was trying to go onto was blocked by a huge flowy tree, so I made sure as best as I could that there was no one there and then pulled out. I ended up accidentally cutting off this lady who just appeared, I couldn't see her before, and she yelled 'you loveing dog!' or something at me. ;__;

And there was the guy who pulled his huge van realllly close to my car while I was doing a three point turn, and then beeped when I took too long for him (which was like, 5 seconds). I finished the turn and drove by him really slowly and made a nasty face for him. That was while I was in driving school too, I had the driving school sign thing on top ofthe car

I also hate people who don't have their signal on, and then just switch lanes ugh

I don't bother with ahting or being mad at people when driving, because I don't know their stories; they could be a new driver, having a panic attack, or rushing to the hospital; who knows?

true story, a month or two ago i saw a dude get out of his car at a red light, walk up to the car in front of him and start screaming at the driver. the other driver was so freaked out that she ran a red just to get away from him

ok admittedly i was waiting at a bus stop when this happened, but it's that kind of attitude that makes me dislike driving

I'm relatively new to driving and I've already run into 8 people who pull out in front of me, causing me to floor the brakes. Just this afternoon I was driving home from the grocery store and the old guy next to me ran a red light and rear ended a guy who pulled in front of him. He was on his phone, needless to say.

Oh and I have to add the part about the buses. I have these infamous "dreaded green buses" in my county, it's our public transportation. Their drivers suck ass. I was almost run off the road by one who switched to my lane on top of me.

@Luci;; i hate all the construction.
i'm a new driver (i test on the 30th) and i have a terrible sense of direction and i get lost so easily.
going 10 minutes to drop my brother off at his tumbling class should not be a safari adventure because you have 4 lanes reduced to 2 and the entrance to the damn building blocked.
and then it's all congested and you don't know which lane goes where anymore and it's just a mess.

Driving here in New Jersey is the worst, because you never know if you have to be in the far right or far left lane if you want to make a left turn, since we have 'jughandles' here.
I once had to out-accelerate a Mustang in my poor little Versa, because of this.
Also he was being a douche and thought it was a race or something.

...Then I get to the light and find out I'm in the wrong lane, and have to haul ass back to the other side of the road.
Other than those few instances though, I love driving. :3

But I don't really have any horror stories about people actually getting out of their cars and yelling at people. Guh, that must be so terrifying. ._."

I live in a town that has snowbirds.
Snowbirds are old people that come to town just for the winter, in case you were wondering
But during the winter these old folk like to race each other. But this racing is sloooooow.
You'll have one guy going 10 under the speed limit in front of you, then another guy going just as slow in the next lane so you can't pass.
It's so infuriating.

I love driving too. But i'm in Minnesota and these drivers do not know how to use a vehicle. they might as well be walking in front of a 50 mph car.
Okay, okay. that was mean.
I mean, my dad is from chicago. Think New York drivers, just not as crazy. but still nuts. I learned from him. he taught me how to "thread the needle" and other crazy stuff.
I'm not as bad as he is though, i would be if i could but the police out here are not playing

Point is, i feel you. I hate other drivers, especially when there is snow on the ground. people go 15 in a 45 mph zone and if they are scared to drive in the snow, then DON'T!

I so agree. there's really no excuse to be sitting there texting/using your phone in traffic/on the road. Pull over and stop being a prick and holding everyone else up.
It's the same when in a store and you have this one person ignoring the clerk while holding up the line. It makes everything go so much slower and totally frustrates the hell outa me.
I was just reading an article about how some guy almost died cause he was texting while driving. Apparently people only learn from this when they get into an accident themselves and actually survive. :| /ragerage funny you bring this up since I was totally raging about something similar a few days ago LOL

@Dusk
NO DUSKY THAT IS A SHOW.
You should grab a packet of snacks and appreciate that.

@piano
I've had that happen before. ;_; There are too many areas here that have giant trees, bushes, weeds, etc... blocking off the view of streets. It bugs me when people park their cars RIGHT on the corner too, so that also blocks the view.
That's pretty rude for them to do that, especially when it clearly states student driver on the car. I had plenty of run-ins with people like that during my driving tests. Dx

@You_Tell_Me
Yeah, I can understand that sometimes. I'm not usually an angry person while driving but I think no matter what, people need to be safe on the road for the safety of others and themselves. Besides, the guy that forgot his signal and cut me off was pulling into the McDonald's drive-through. Guess getting that big mac was a real emergency. xD;

@Satyr
I'd probably be pretty freaked out, too. Maybe not enough to run a red light, but jeesh. It scares me how angry people can get behind the wheel.

@Rienza
Oh man, that's crazy! I hate when people use their phones while driving. I've seen so many people nearly run off the road or into other lanes because of it. I honestly don't even know how they can use the phone and drive at the same time... I did it once driving through a housing track, and ended up having to pull over because it was just too difficult to control the car and hold the phone.

@Felix
Construction is the biggest pain.
I've been driving for nearly a year and I still get slightly nervous driving through construction zones.
I had to go through one the other day where they blocked off pretty much all but half of a lane on the highway, so we were having to drive halfway in the other half of the freeway with traffic coming right at us. I really couldn't figure that one out since there was no construction going on there at the time.

@Tentacle
I hate when people think you want to race them, ugh.
That kinda sounds similar to what we have here with specific lanes for left turns. I've done that in those before though, and ugh it's frustrating have to go allll the way back to the right area.

@Free
God, that does sound infuriating.
It's a pain in the ass when people go under the speed limit in the first place, but to not be able to go around... love, I'd rage. LOL.

@Stoney
I can kinda understand people being a bit hesitant in the snow if they aren't used to it, but going that far under the speed limit is causing even more danger.
Kinda easy to smash into someone and cause even more wreckage when you can't see them there. e__e

@iHEARTsnooze
I've had that happen on the freeway before.
They went down the off ramp and drove right onto the freeway into oncoming traffic, it was nuts.
Luckily they pulled over and were able to turn around before there could be an accident.

@Squall
I will just yell at you on msn because oh my god my fingers.

@/felix
Ohhh, I lucked out with my temp. license and got it right when I turned 18, so I didn't have to drive with an adult.
Whenever me and my mom are driving somewhere though, she tends to freak out over small things like that and it makes me super nervous.
My dad on the other hand is the one telling me to haul ass out of the parking lot to make the next light, lmfao.
I'm more nervous on freeways, though. I'm pretty intent on going only the speed limit and not a bit more. I got passed by a soccer mom van the other day and mom was bursting up over me being the slowest teenager ever.

@/Follywood
Public transport seems like a way better option than driving. If it was bigger around here, I would totally do that. Gas prices are starting to kill me with the gas guzzler I drive around.

People here are the worst when it comes to construction and just in general driving. =n=
Thankfully I do not drive, but my mother has the worst road rage when it comes to stupid people who decide to do stupid things on the road. She has yet to get out and start yelling at someone, but she does like to yell inside the car, something that tends to irritate my step-dad quite a bit...

i can drive so well with others, but me with him has me freaking out.
and it doesn't help the road i drive on with him is long and narrow and has mailboxes on the side of the road and just ugh! i hate driving in narrow spaces.

I understand that, but when you've been here forever you should know how to drive or keep off the roads. Its bad to be reckless in iffy weather like that, but all you need to do is fix your tires or put chains around them, or whatever people do
Well, its dangerous, especially when someone is going normal and they have a hard time putting on the breaks for the people ahead of them and then end up losing control.

I really don't like driving at all and I try to avoid it at all costs. :c When I first got my temps, I would constantly have to pull into a parking lot to switch spots with my twin brother because I would have panic attacks while I was behind the wheel; it got to the point that I had to take a month or two off practicing because the idea of driving terrified me enough that I got nauseous even imagining myself doing it. /: It eventually started getting better and I haven't had a panic attack since last October when I got my license, but I still have to talk myself down from one every once in a while when people do stupid things and almost get us into a wreck.

Some examples of stupid things people have done:
1. A lady almost backed into me at a red light

2. A guy almost T-boned me when I was pulling out of my street. I had enough time to go, but he sped up even though I was already halfway in the lane and I had to speed through the turn to avoid getting hit.

3. People have almost run me off the road (particularly on my street) because they feel the need to drive with half of their car in my lane.

4. While I was going down my street, a guy backed out of his driveway without even looking and I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting him. Luckily, he stopped while halfway in the road, pulled back into his driveway, and let me go past him so I didn't have to be stuck behind him, but he did the same exact thing with the car that was behind me. :I

I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of any others at the moment.

I just recently got my permit to drive and I do not enjoy it thus far. I live in a pretty good area for driving too, easy to navigate cities and little traffic and yet I've nearly been in several side collisions from people randomly changing lanes and driving with general disregard for traffic laws. I think for some reason humanity likes to be at its worst when its behind the wheel of a car.

I just want to go somewhere with public transportation o_o

No stop to my spreading,
Unarmed die around me,

Ages ago, father was driving me to a soccer match in another city nearby. We get stuck behind a very slow tractor trailer. We try passing said trailer. The driver slams on his breaks three times, each incident almost ending up with us crashing into him. The driver finally stops in the middle of the interstate, gets out of the truck, comes around back and starts screaming at us. We both just kind of stare until he goes back inside and drives off.

I remember telling my father we should have drove around him while he was raging. He replied that he didn't want to risk getting run over by the lunatic.

So cray.

Far too many bad driving experiences in my town to list (as listed by someone else mentioning snowbirds, I have those dreadful things too -__-), but I guess I won't be having any for a bit since I just lost my car in an accident recently. ;___;

Thankfully not too many people pull out in front of others in my town, but man do they like to get up on your ass when you're not driving fast enough to their liking, even if you're going the speed limit.

I hate driving. It scares the crap out of me. All the near accidents I've had were all my fault because I'm so busy panicking that I forget things. But the main things about driving that piss me off are:

1. People talking/texting on their phones. Then they're holding up traffic at a green light, switching lanes without checking to see that you're right next to them, driving 20 miles under the speed limit and/or swerving. Ffs get off the phone and just drive your damn car.

2. Bicycles driving down the middle of the street. You're not a car, peddle on the damn sidewalk. And if there is no sidewalk, use the shoulder.

ugh cyclists.

In my town, they like to bike over the mountain. It's a long, winding road with multiple blind curves, no bicycling lane, and a very narrow shoulder (and no shoulder in some places).
There are numerous bike trails on the mountain itself. Without cars and reduced chances of death.
