Rules

F.A.Q.
Why don't you always use the system set up for paying?

My items have gotten to a point that they're being accepted w/out denials. If this ever chances, I will use trades again for the first batch only. (This is done in case of denials to make it easier for everyone involved).

How will I know when I need to pay for an item?

~~I will ping you when the item is sold out and will put up a trade with your name on it for you to pay your portion. (After the 1st batch, others will get a ping the regular way).~~ Lately I have been using the regular system as my items have been being accepted rather well. If this trend continues, you will simply get an event ping from the system telling you you are assigned to pay for a custom item.

Can you put me on reserve/wait list for an item?

I don't do wait-lists on most things. I will not add you to a 'wait list' for any random item I have sketched up. If I have a wait list, it will be noted otherwise and usually you will see it on my WIP thread only.

Will you put me on the next batch of {insert item here}?

I will put you on the next batch for a current item for sale, but if it does not get enough interest to fill after 1 week, the item will be pulled completely. I will not pay for empty slots.

When will you be re-releasing {insert item here}? And can you ping me when it's up?

I never have a time specified for re-releases, as they aren't planned that far ahead. And it would be unfair of me to single anyone out and give them a heads up for when an item is being released or re-released by pinging them. So you will simply need to be a part of my ping group to know exactly when an item is released.

I paid for the item awhile ago, what's taking so long?

I have no control over how long it takes for an item to be approved. When it is, I will ping you as soon as I am aware/online. If there are any issues such as with denials, I will keep you updated.

I'm just buying this for a friend/gifting it, is that okay?

You are welcome to do what you will with the item once you have it (ie sell, gift, ect.).

Will you offer recolors?

I may or may not offer recolors, depending on interest. Certain items will not have recolors presented if they're marked as 'special' and/or are tribute items. If I do any recolors, it will be a limited 'spectrum'. I don't like doing a million colors of one item, I prefer to have more items to sell in variety rather than one item in a million colors.

Can I suggest an item for you to do?

Sure, you can suggest something for me to do as a custom. Post on my suggestion thread. I'm open to listening to any ideas.

I don't have the csc anymore, but I still want the item, will you wait?

No, sorry. If you can't afford it and need to withdraw, I will not hold the slot for you. If the item is ready for putting in for submission and you do not have the csc any longer, I will not reserve it for you. If you asked for an item, I expect you to hang onto the csc regardless of how long it takes for the item to sell. You may remove your name from the list at any time before the item has been submitted for approval. After that, I do not offer refunds.

How long will you keep an item up for sale?

If the first batch has gone through and a second batch (or however number after) isn't full, after a week, I will put it in the CS for those on the list to purchase and then pull it back out after another week- depending on the item. If an item hasn't had a first batch fill, I will give it at least three weeks (enough time to ping customwears twice). If it still doesn't sell, I will pull it completely off the shelf and I may or may not rework it to try again later. I will try to keep your name on an interested list and ping you if the item comes back up for sale with a rework.
**I reserve the right to pull it off the shelf at any time before 3 weeks is up**

I don't want to wait for a batch to fill, or I don't have the csc right now, so I'll just wait for you to put the item into the CS, is that okay?

While I can't control anyone in when or how they buy, I would prefer that you buy directly from me. The CS pays out a minimal profit and also lowers the value of items for sale after a time. And I will probably only put items into the cash shop if a batch after the first, isn't full. It will probably be best if you bought from me and didn't wait in the hopes it might end up in the CS, which more often than not, it won't.

[b]Are you open for custom wear commissions?

Not at the moment, no. I will open a commission shop on the appropriate forum when I am and will ping my group to alert anyone interested.

F.A.Q.

Who makes the items for this store?

All items sold through "Avarde Wears" are items made by members of the cult Avant-Garde (and are also already successful cw artists on their own). They are either commissioned or donated by various cw artists that are members of our cult!
Other items advertised are through the personal stores of odduckOasis and Celestial and have their own set of rules and regulations. Contact either of them for more information.

How will I know when I pay for an item?

Items will be pre-approved by staff. When a batch is soldout, you will receive a ping from either Anna or Color and a lot # to pay for the item via trades.

Where does all the csc go? Do you keep it for yourself?

All csc coming in for wears made by Avarde will be profits for the cult entirely. We will use the csc to make more cws, buy commissions and fund events for our cult.

Can you put me on reserve/wait list for an item?

No, sorry. You'll simply have to join the ping group and hope you can grab the item when it is up for sale.

All Avarde items are limited batches and will not have re-release dates. The only acception is if there was only one batch sold and we want to sell a couple more batches. But you will not be pinged specifically to know if/when, sorry.

You are welcome to do what you will with the item once you have it (ie sell, gift, ect.).

No. All items being sold through Avarde Wears will be limited batches and will never go into the cash shop.

Recolors are entirely dependant on the person who made the item. If they were commissioned, we may request it depending on interest. If it was a donation, we can suggest it, but give no guarantees as donated items receive no compensation.

Can I suggest an item for you guys to do?

Sorry, all our commission/donation ideas come from within the cult and its members. If you want to talk to a cw artist directly that is a part of our cult- you may suggest to them, but there is no guarantee they will do it.

Regular Subeta Users: 650 CSC
Avant-Garde members: 550 CSC

All items have a 3 batch limit, no exceptions.

Yeah, I decided I'm not going to retire items just because I took them out of the CS. I think the CS option needs to be fixed so items don't go so far down in value, which is why I pulled everything. But like I said, always a chance of an item being restocked (except the items already retired lol).

I think that was under my shop You can put in whatever price you want when you're typing in prices for custom wears. So I literally could charge anything from 1-9999CSC if I wanted. The reason that 625 is in there is because when I sell a collab, me and the other artist generally want a slot. 625CSC makes us break even for the batch.

As far as the braid, it's highly unlikely it will be released again anytime soon. I've seen some people sell their copies, so that means there will not be a high demand for it, unfortunately. However, sometime in the future it may be released.

@ I've never seen anyone selling their copies, it's always the other braid I see.. I like that one too but this one is my absolute fave. I will continue keeping an eye out for it. I think if I have seen one in a post it was under the 'sold' part after only a couple hours so I think there would be demand but you guys would know better.

Thanks for explaining the 625 part. I just think it leaves some odd numbers, like people would have to spend 25 or 75 on something in the CS to get it back to normal.

Yeah I think it does leave some odd numbers, however the only other option was to sell for 650CSC, and me and the other artist at the time I was collabing with, we thought it was a little too much to ask for wigs, dresses, and smaller items like that. It was just an effort to keep our prices fair while still breaking even

These are lots numbers for you to pay on as you are the first batch. Once the shop gets rolling we will do pre-approved items, however until that happens we'll have the first batch pay ahead of time in case of denials. You will receive notification of denials and when it is approved your items will be distributed through trades. Once most of the trades have been offered on, we'll go ahead and start the approval process!
