Referral Changes
We\'ve moved the Referral Prize Shop to the new shop system, as well as increased the CSC prize for referring new users to 500CSC per user! We suggest things like tweeting and making posts on tumblr to get the word out, and maybe get yourself a few cool prizes in the meantime.
And a reminder, for this weekend only, if you purchase CSC with Stripe on the payments page you\'ll be given a Zebra Fabric Swatches and 20% bonus CSC!

I really wish you would fix the issues with the site first. It's almost embarrassing recommending this site when it has so many problems. It's just going to turn people off instantly.

Oh wow, that IS quite an incentive. I've spent a fair amount of real cash, much to the hubby's dismay (oops). I love that there is an opportunity to earn a sum decent enough to buy some of the gorgeous CWs floating around the site. Thank you for extending the trust. :)

Just got home from work and I'm confused. What new shop system??? If you mean the quest shops, they seem to have disappeared! When I click the link to them on Petes page all I get is the same message that I see when there's nothing in the Token Shop. What happened to all the quests shops?!?

honestly I think this is great, but I think it would be better if there was a way to reward users for keeping their friends on the site? all this does is encourages me to say "hey pal, you have 10 minutes I need to to sign up for something real fast" and leave it at that.

Well that is great hope peeps get more to come. But I can experience tell you don't expect anything to get people to play here with you and you wont be disappointed. I got two family members to start playing when it said you got 250 csc for getting people here. When it did not show up I put in a ticket was told it was over they signed up too late, but it was still on the referral page when they did. Love this site and love Keith have been here a long time and I try to get people to play regardless. so it is not that big a deal to me. But you get more out of life and fun if you do things because you want to not expect something. ok end of lecture..lol. :)

Oh and my 2 cents, I hope you guys who are bashing on Subeta for this realize how incredibly rude you sound. Seriously grow up. Are you personally losing out on anything if they offer some extra incentive to people who refer the site? And if you think this site is "dying" then why are you still here? Obviously it can't be that bad if you bother to sign in and chime in with your rude comments. Oh and by the way in case you were't aware the reality is if you want to promote something, and you are using word of mouth, you should probably award the people who are helping you out.

More users would be more comfortable asking others to sign up, and potential new users would sign up and stay, if the site didn't break so easily.
Making excuses for a site as to why it's lagging so much, pages go down, basic things aren't working, or the entire site just seems to stop working, puts many users off from even talking about it.

I can absolutely see how this might come off as desperate, but word of mouth referrals are the most valuable kind of referrals and we want to make sure that you guys have a good incentive to bring your friends to the site. Obviously this number can change and go back down if we see a lot of abuse of the system, but I'm pretty confident 500CSC is alright for now :).
