Neugarten 2023
Before you ask, yes there will be a new challenger this year. ;) It will pop up later in the holiday!
Neugarten will end at 11:59pm on August 7. At the end of the holiday, the stalls close once again until next year and the food trucks will disappear off into the sunset, so make sure to grab items from the various stalls while they’re available!

Still wishing they would make skirts to match the shirts. I haven't found anything to match the light green and light blue shirts.

I'm so sad Neugarten isn't about beer and dirndls anymore... It used to have this German gemütlichkeit, but it's gone.

Feeling a bit called out by the Veta Market Handmade Soap Slice item description, since the fancy soaps are always what I gravitate towards the most whenever there's a farmer's market or craft fair XD. I thought the bee goods booth was going to be my favorite new item until I saw that! so much great new stuff this year!!!

Also why is it that the food trucks always come back but never the fashion ones (I think it's just Fashion Yurts, not sure)? Why not bring back all the Peka Boo stuff?

@Rah - sure, and they look amazing, but they aren't wearables. A large portion of the site (myself included) only does the wardrobe portion of the site, rather than item collections. And right now, the only wearables with any sort of an outdoor theme come from the GoOutside shop; it hasn't been updated in a long time, which means there haven't been any new outdoorsy, homesteading, hunting themed wearables in just as long.
The bikes are awesome, and the art for the baby slings is super cute! It was just a bit of a bummer to find that there weren't any new wigs or full background pieces. I guess I was just hoping for some more interesting and outdoor themed wearables than we got! The items put out look amazing, just not the theme I was expecting.

@swashbuckler - they weren't ignored, I believe we got some canning jars out there for homesteading, and I think the cast-iron cookware came from homesteading research or suggestion too. We took a lot of suggestions this year, including finally getting some bike-related things out and also the baby slings! We look at past years suggestions that we hadn't been able to get to yet, first.
What homesteading items were you hoping to see? I have egg incubators and beehives on my list, a barn backdrop, these are going to be higher on the list for next year.

I wish they would have the items in *year* released tabs, new items are mixed in with old items we have to check each item to see if we have it or not.

Always excited to see the new holiday items, but I'm so disappointed this year! Third year in a row that the suggestions for more hunting/homesteading/hiking items went ignored (a shame, considering the theme is supposed to be sustainability!) and there's not a single wig or full background in sight either!
