There are a ton of moving pieces for how these automated posts work!
The cron file that runs this is a 'job', that fires off at midnight/12:01AM on Friday, and selects the next quest. That file is completely separate from the quest page itself, or any of our NPC configuration that we use around the site. So unfortunately whenAmber updated those, it didn't automatically update the cron (it's in a different code base entirely).
All fixed now, and should be the appropriate quest in the future.

They fixed the WSQ post (mostly. the title isn't fixed) and correctly activated the WSQ for Duality quests but didn't reset them when they fixed it. I'm guessing there's probably something in the cron that didn't get updated fully for weekend quests

I'm not upset that they missed it, I kind of wish they reset it though as some of us did them prior.

Come on, guys... It doesn't cost anything to be kind and give staff some grace. There are *years* worth of Mori/Nori items and descriptions around the site that will need to be changed.
Amber has already acknowledged she's likely missed some instances and will correct them as they're pointed out.

And I find it offensive that anyone implied there was malicious intent behind this news post at all, when it's common knowledge this particular type of news post is running on an automatic script, just like the pet spotlight. It was just an oversight because we're all human and forget details like this, not because it's not important but because there's always bound to be something you simply forgot to do.

I’m just a little bum there was no quest reset, I did all of my quests before realizing I wasn’t getting the weekend quest bonus :(

Just because something does not offend you does not mean it will not offend others. Please try to keep an open mind, especially when so many with DID have voiced their discomfort.

I reallly do not care if it duality or cursed. We are talking about a fictional character who was subjected to a "curse" ..

The title still says 'Cursed Quests' btw! Not sure if that was an oversight or what, but hopefully the auto script is fixed for good now.

This should be fixed now, and there's been some changes to the weekend quest announcement so this shouldn't happen again for future weekends!

I came back to see if it was fixed, but it hadn't. So I just did the quests regardless. Will check in the morning.^^

It was an oversight more than likely, since the Weekend Quest setter runs on its own automated script. It should be an easy fix once Amber gets on!

Was hoping for Carl this weekend. But since this still doesn't say weekend quests guess I'll just go to bed and hope it's fixed by tomorrow.
