is there a way to tell if youll get this item or the old, I didnt notice what it said on my notice..so not sure if i already had the narwhal before my renewal or if i got it this round

Sorry, my bad then.
With the site's current renewal problems, I could understand, that there also was a glitch on recent renewals, but some mentioned that their renewal date had been a while ago (prior to mine), so it confused me that they expected the Pinecone to magically appear in their inventory.
My renewal will only be on Feb 15th, so hopefully this will have been sorted out by then, because I really like the pullover :-)
Amber - then all is fine ;-) Because the 500 CSC from the subscription only carries me through the 2 collection books I need each month :-(
My only consolation (apart from hoping the paypal issue will finally be fixed) is your info, that their won't be any Cash Shop challengers coming out for a while.

@BoaConstrictor These will be around a while for sure! Even if they get retired after this year's black friday sale, they will def come back through hustler or future black friday sales.
@Paddy thanks for the ping! I ran the script earlier to send out the items, but it looks like there's a hiccup on the backend we use for running things like this. Know that the issue has been reported and will be looked into (I reported it like. late into the evening so it won't be seen until the morning likely). I'd hold off on doing a ticket for the moment since this is an issue we're aware of and once it's fixed you'll all get the item at once.
@Sneaky I haven't posted because I didn't get see the ping until well into this evening. I ran the script like normal but a few other staff reported later to our group that they were having issues with the system so I realized my script likely also had the same issue. I usually stick around to see comments for about 15 minutes after a post to fix anything (like that book not showing up). As far as I was aware, things went out as normal and then I moved on to other work.

I'm confused. Does this mean I just don't get this item despite being a subscriber because my renewal date was the 25th?

Why have we still not had a response from a staff member telling us that they're aware of this issue and whether we should send a ticket or not? Maybe I should have just sent a ticket anyway...

The renewal item changed on the 23rd last month. If someone's renewal date is between the 23rd-29th, they would've already gotten the December item in December but their subscription would've renewed before the January item came out, hence the notifications that went out saying they should get the new item when the news post goes up. The items just didn't go out correctly

Boaconstrictor is right. You get whatever new item there is when your sub renews for the month. That's why I got the last new item & will have to wait for this one until mine renews on Feb 13.

My monthly subscription renewal date was a few days ago (Jan 25th). The event comment noted: “Special item: You will receive this month's special item when it's released. Look for the news post!” Is there anything special I need to do to receive the item or will it just show up in my inventory? Fairly new to the subscriptions so I wasn’t sure! Thanks! 😊

I didn't get the special item either. My renewal was yesterday, and the dashboard event notification said I would get the new item once it was released- I think it's actually the first time for me that the item was changed after my renewal, so I'm not sure how that usually works?

My renewal date is also the 13th but I got the item for that date. I will have to wait until Feb 13 for this item.
