I hate thinking that there are users on Subeta that are so ungrateful for this wonderful site and it's wonderful staff/artists.
I know people are entitled to their own opinions, but there is NO reason to be a bitch about it. Seeing comments so hateful as to threaten a person..god it just makes my blood boil.
These artists on Subeta do not deserve to hear comments like this, and they do not deserve to just sit and do nothing about it. That book was a great reply to certain hateful comments here...and even future unhelpful/rude comments.
There is a fine line between being an ungrateful bitch and being responsible and politely stating your opinions and giving feedback.
These revamps are LOVELY and they are a great improvement to the old, outdated art. Continue the amazing job, artists of subeta. Much love to you <3

Whenever anyone criticizes my art in general, unspecified ways, I just put pencil and paper in front of them and tell them to show me how to do it better. I have humbled more than one person that way.

I can see why people prefer the old Keeto.
It would help to add some more cuts into the tail instead of making it all smooth so that it will seem fluffier.

Regardless, I think these three are great improvements. Galactic is one of my favorite colors, so maybe I'm biased but I think these are all solid updates. The wyllop looks so much cuter (actually, ever since the common was updated the wyllops have looked superb!), as does the hikei. Actually, the hikeis cropping up since they were revamped have been brilliant as well. I really like the mane and tail orbs on this one. ♥
And, while I liked the old keeto, this one is even cuter. I adore the way the gold markings are done. The tail does look a little awkward like some people have mentioned, but it's hardly bothersome. Actually, the pets have to look uniform.
It's not a personal art gallery, or a place to show style. The old Keeto didn't look like a Keeto, and I personally disliked its lineart.
If something is dated, or isn't consistent with common, it's going to be revamped eventually.

They look really nice. All of them. I gotta say though I don't know why. But I think that just gets lost when you round things out can get rid of the more stylistic to it. Please don't revamp the Hideous Keeto. T^T Its perfect.

For goodness sake, If you don't like it don't get the pet, or use an overlay if you like the older ones.

The Hikei is cute, but it's back legs look too fat. The Wyllop revamp, FOR ONCE, doesn't piss me off, lol. I have hated all of the new Wyllops, except this one. Constructive crits show that you've put thought behind your comments (omg show intelligence???) and that you have some sort of consideration for the fact that you are not ruler of the universe (omg empathy? having a soul???). I love the improvements to the Wyllop and Hikei. And the keeto too, with just one small complaint - the tail don't look as bushy and fluffy. But for the improvements, thats not such a loss.

i love these revamps, but I'm happy i made Kaede's overlay before the keeto was revamped! the nice lion look doesn't suit a mischievous character x3 however it's a huge improvement anatomy-wise!

Keeto looks like a real Keeto now, I really love the short effect this pet has going on and I'm very happy to see the consistency. The tail suits him/her perfectly.
And the wyllop! I dig the pose they decided to keep, 'nooo you shouldn't have!' Very cute. c:

Eh, not very fond of the new Keeto. It reminds me of a bunny or something now. I dunno... it's just too "cutesy" to be a Keeto, in my opinion. Don't remember what the old Hikei looked like, but this one is very nice. ^^ I just might get one... Good job, artists.

I really like the nebular aura... It's not just a cloud of space around them, it's like space has been sucked into their ever-present visible aura and is shining through.

@Laurrase I would have to disagree. I mean the new hiki shows the wonder, like is it half horse or half tiger?-refers to the feet in a good way. The tail also gives it a wonder of how it got to have planets. Is a hiki really a star nebula king/queen? The other two are awesome too, way to go artists!

I'm not at all happy about the Keeto. it was one of the "not" overly cute pets. and I can't get the the island to change Spite into something better. the thicker black on the tail it putting me of, but with Elixirs and Potions hardly restocking I'm pretty much stuck with a pet I don't like anymore. the other ones look nice, the cute looks works Great with the Wyllop, and I love what has been done to the Hikeis's tail. but I hate the Keeto, out right hate

Ok, so the Keeto's new body is lovely. It has movement it didn't before and the ruff is great. However, I am very much going to miss the mischievous expression of the old one. The new is a little bit too sweet. I also agree that the look seems too catlike. The muzzles on the others are sharper and give the foxish feel. It seems more like a celinox muzzle than a Keeto, but that is just my opinion.
It is lovely art and a lovely pet. I just worry that it may no longer be for me.

Last night I was thinking about changing my Wyllop to Galactic (previously Sun), but when I looked at the old version, I didn't like it so I decided not to. The revamp is awesome. Keeps his usual character, but really a major upgrade from the previous Galactic version of this pet. Good job!

Ahh I see... Well I gotta admit, they've all been improved, except for the Keeto. It lost a lot of size, character and space dust. The most disappointing part being the tail in my opinion. I wouldn't mind the revamp so much if they had copied the tail of the old one exactly but now, it's just a big, black, poofy thing, instead of long and wild like it's supposed to be.

Lots darker than before, which was a good choice. The galactic pets always have had more of a dark feel than a bright one. They need to be dark so that the shiny parts can come through more!
