Hi everyone.
We'll be taking the site down momentarily (in 5-10) minutes to re-sync our slave database server, which seems to have become corrupted.
The procedure will take a bit longer than usual, since we need to save the corrupted database to analyze the corruption and hopefully find out what's causing it.
I'll keep everyone posted.

SQLs: There are actually 3 causes for SQLs, and you can tell them apart by the timing. The main cause for SQLs is when the database locks up because of too many queries at once. Those SQLs result in the site starting to time out, before our script realizes the problem and restarts the database, resulting in a SQL page for about 40-60 seconds before the site comes back up. This type of SQL will be made extinct (hehe) as we work to improve the efficiency of the site.
The other two are more worrying. One is a "quick" SQL, which shows up suddenly, without the site slowing down, and disappears within 15 seconds or so. This means that the database has crashed (and automatically restarted), which is usually a result of some part of the DB having become corrupted. Eventually, the server will crash immediately after it restarts itself, and this will cause a long SQL, which will persist until we're able to restore the database from a backup.
We're currently working on this problem and we think we are close to discovering what is actually going on here.
Images not showing: One of our three web servers was having problems, becoming unresponsive and having to be restarted every night. When this happened, the image server on it had to be started manually, and so images that were routed to that server would not load until this happened. We've since identified what was happening (runaway backup script) and fixed it, so this shouldn't be an issue any more.
Please-wait timeouts: A number of people are reporting getting "please wait 30 seconds" or such timeouts when it's they've waited minutes, hours, or days. We are still trying to figure out this one, so if you're having this problem and you're willing to work with me on debugging it, please let me know.
Anyway, just thought that might help explain some things that are going on.

Costume Trunk Note
If you just purchased the new Curious Lacquered Costume Trunk, and you got the wrong items when you opened it please Create a Ticket and have the items you received in your inventory. A UA will be able to replace them with the correct trunk as soon as possible.
This trunk seems to be giving us a lot of issues! The ninja's must be attacking :(. Anyway, if you opened the male version of the trunk and did not get any items, please Create a Ticket to have it fixed!

Sunset in 1 hour, should find place to setup camp. Next to river - Bath for me in the morning! Picked wild mint earlier, should go nicely with dinner.

Looking for Lilium Sanguinea, Blood Lily, believed to be extinct. Aside from beauty, has fantastic healing properties. Recent topographical study of the area lists possible sighting at headwaters of Peka River.
Must make more progress before nightfall, more later.

Explorations this morning went well, found two samples of Blood Lily, both mature. Did not harvest. Decided to check into cave system for further samples.

Following river through caves. Very dark and creepy, grateful for flashlight, must thank Nico. Found several more immature samples. Harvested a pair for cultivation trials back at the gardens.
Seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel, literally. Will continue in that direction.

Followed tunnel, came out into a beautiful hidden glade. Blood Lily everywhere. Also found Coral Thistle, and Stinging Aster - Both very rare! Collected samples of all.
Source of river seems to be a spring that bubbles up from the ground. Water is very crisp - Feel so much more in tune with nature after drinking from it.
Day is drawing to a close. So much more exploring to do tomorrow. Now, dinner and bed.

Awoke to a wild chai bathing in the spring, appeared to be field colored - Possibly a lost or abandoned pet? Moving startled it away, but noticed that plants had started to take root in its fur. Sad.

Many different species seem to call this area home. Spotted an antlephore, then shortly after, a kanis. Both field? Very odd. Both also had growth in their fur.
Side effect of local plant life? More investigation needed. Collected soil and water samples for further analysis.
