On behalf of the __United Zombie Alliance__, we are ___pleased / mildly irritated__ to __welcome / begrudgingly invite__ all non-infected citizens of Subeta to partake in the __festivities__ being held in the Shadowglen Underground, celebrating the founding of our great city. Local businesses have stocked exciting new merchandise and will be happy to serve non-infected citizens of every type, though this may only appeal to those with a more precocious sense of adventure.
Remember, this is a __racially sensitive holiday__, and so those that choose to wear masks will not be permitted into the city. This also applies to un-living citizens: Masks of any kind are not to be worn or displayed. _____We_____ would like to promote tolerance on all fronts.
_____We_____ hope that you enjoy the activities for this year, and hope that it will set the benchmark for ____many years to come / possible subsequent years, entirely dependent the behavior of those invited_____.

Heck yeah, this is definitely one of my favourite events of the year :heart: . There's always a neat plot, fun activities, and piles of great items!

Blahh, thought my first message was eaten. Really curious though...how DOES this work? I figured you had to make an active effort to get "infected," or do you get hit randomly? Wiki sites aren't really clear on it at all.
Do cures only come out after everything is done, or can you cure, and try to get a different disease before it's all over?

Wow, someone complaining that they hate this event blocked me just for sending a friendly, conversational message that I was looking forward to it, and in fact, it was the reason I started playing! They said they didn't like "having" to participate in something they hated for trophies...I didn't think anyone was actually forced? Are they? This is my first February as a player.

As far as I know, nobody is actually forced to participate in ANY site event, are they? I successfully ignored the winter holidays, much as I do in real life. :)

You know, I just realised one of the reasons that Skitters' NPC picture bothers me. It's the fact that he has two arms.
Also, I agree with the assessment: how IS his name that neat? I mean... he has four fingers, all of which are ridiculously long-clawed. DID he get Fantine to write it? We all know exactly how well he TYPES due to those things.

I'm pretty sure this is only temporary, plus if zombies were cancelled they would have said so by now. Probably would have said last year. This is just spicing things up I'm sure. :)

Not really digging humans being able to buy from this year or any to be honest. But... we'll see where this is going. Somehow I just simply feel very safe already being undead. glances nervously at all the humans
I would love to participate, but I've had a mask on for a couple days to prepare for diseases and wardrobe isn't working, so...
Maybe if we hope hard enough it'll JUST be for the Pandemic event and then the rest of the year it'll be Zombies only. It doesn't seem fair that those of us who have stayed zombies to be able to access all areas of the site just be overlooked and let anything that you need to be a zombie for be open and available to everyone, undead or human, 365 days of the year... -_-

Great news that we don´t have to be a Zombie to purchase the new items in the Zombie Den, really happy about this.

This does seem just a tad bit suspicious, though I certainly don't mind being able to access everything in the underground. Still hoping for news of new strains though. :(

I have a zombie mask on and it let me into the city. I thought we were supposed to wear masks so we could catch a zombie disease. Guess that's changed this year?
