We have increased the total number of pets you can have by 5 by purchasing them from your pets page.

@~~Wolf_Spirit~~ The Mystical Donadak plushie, when it was usable (the two slots one), was originally $100. I know because I bought two at least. I spent so much on pet slots ._.

I wonder why lots are complaining about the price? It's a LOT lower than it used to be, yeesh. I doubt it'll be lowered any more.

But oh gods, I was trying to figure out what I wanted with the ones I still need to buy, and you add five more? Way to make things easier for me, eeee!

Dunno what the big deal is after reading some of these posts - you always had to pay for additional pet slots, unless you wait for your loyalty box. Nothing new, guys. 2000 CSC is way better for pet slots, anyway, over what it used to be ($40 or $80, which I paid, stupidly enough...o.o). Save your sP up and buy from a player if you don't have the cash.

Here's hoping a Sweetheart Kumos comes out this year!!!

Silly me, I got all excited because I thought it was 5 more free pet slots. Well, I'm not maxed out on my pets, not even close, so this isn't super awesome for me yet, but some day I'll appreciate it more I'm sure! :D

They need to update the Extra Pet Slot Breakdown page to reflect the change, but from what I can gather, it is another 5 slots in addition to what we had before... So those of us that had maxed out out CSC slots can now get more... And Keith said there is the possibility of getting another 5 slot raise in 6 months time in the Site Feedback forum thread...

I'm gonna be working on maxing out these babies ASAP. Which may be a while, since I'm kinda broke... Both on here and IRL. -sad face but still very happy inside-

Okay so right now, my personal max is 26 pets. That's with a GA and a mixture of bought slots (or at the time, plushies) and loyalty totems/prize totems given out sitewide. Does that mean that I can buy another 5 slots to make 31 slots for 31 pets?

I can't even get profiles made for the pets I have so this doesn't really affect me, but I think some of the logic in support is a little silly, especially the "well they used to be XX amount so this is a great deal!" If I made a peanut butter sandwich and said I was going to charge you $100 for it then later dropped the price to $35 it still wouldn't be a good deal... unless you're starving and my peanut butter sandwich is the only possible way for you to get food, or you have money to toss around. It's disappointing when cool stuff happens but you have to spend real money on it when you don't have disposable income, and it's okay to be disappointed and express that disappointment. Just like it's okay to be excited because you can do it, and express that excitement.

Yes, you can buy CSC with SP as somebody earlier pointed out (in a rather rude manner, might I add), but a lot of people aren't rolling in that either.

Okay so I'm still confused. There are people here talking about having their maxed pet slots around 40 pets but because of early totems / plushies, plus loyalty totems and purchased slots, but when I look at my breakdown it says this:

1 from pet slot plushies and early totems (max 10).
3 from pet slot loyalty totems.
0 from new slot additions (max 5).

I never used a plushie but I have used 4 loyalty totems so I assume it's glitched. From what I understand from this I can only purchase 5 new slots through the cash shop, so I guess my question is, will I still be able to purchase those other 10 from the plushies / early totems section through the cash shop or have I forfeited those slots by not buying them early on? And those "new slot additions" are being raised by 5 to 10? For a max of 20?

That being said, I won't be filling these any time super soon (esp. now that totems are properly separated, yay) but it's nice to know they're there, for someday.

Buying pet slots with CSC has been a thing since FOREVER. Why is everyone so surprised that they chose CSC as the currency? You DO know that buying it with sP will come around to 60 million in sP, right? Which fluctuates depending on the cost of two 1k CSC. Are they supposed to edit the sP cost accordingly to current SS prices?
You people are ridiculous.

As a pet person, I'm just happy I can get five more slots, through CSC, even.

Does me absolutely 0 good as I don't purchase pet slots (heck, I still have a loyalty totem sitting in my inventory from months ago) but I'm sure it's a welcome happy thing for the hoarders of pixel animals, especially with the 2 new species that came out recently... I know a lot of people were contemplating new pets vs keeping all their old loved ones.

Almost like a card, that users could sell each other, and it could come in multiple denominations, like a gift card...

wait, what about the people that have a lot of pets now? i have 28 pets (my max) until i get my yearly loyalty free slot, so wit this change dose that mean that i get a max of 33 after the change? or is my max still at 28? i mean i did pay for the slots and i worked hard to get them, dose that mean i lost out on the $ i spent on those 5 slots? id love to know because i want to to do some changes to my pets so bad. if i get the 5 slots now it means i can make all the changes now!

@Snowflaik Oh! You misunderstand. I've already bought 10 pets slots were 2000 CSC each. But the User Dashboard breaks down your max amount of pets with : (Amount) from pet slot plushies and early totems [MAX 10], (Amount) from loyalty totems, and (Amount) from new slot additions [MAX 5]. I was asking where these new slots would be available from. I assumed that it would be using CSCs, but the previous max was 10 and that hasn't changed. So I was asking if it the User Dashboard information just hasn't been updated, or if I misinterpreted the post and it wasn't referring to CSC slots.

You know.... you CAN buy csc with sp. If you don't have enough sp, then you just have to save like a lot of people do. And since it sounds like you're a newcomer because you are getting your first loyalty box, you're gonna find a lot of times things are gonna cost csc. And there's times things will cost you wizard tokens, and then there's things that will cost sp. The economy here is volatile, and you have to adapt. You're new, you'll get how it works. But me, I have no csc and cannot afford to get csc right now. So I wishlist items. And not get all worked up over the fact that some of the items I want require csc.

You don't /have/ to buy the slots and you don't /have/ to buy csc, theirs lots of ways for you to get csc with just having sp.
I don't see a need to complain over that, theirs loads of quest/dailies as well as token shop/subeatique/restocking and other means to make sp here in order to get csc.

I personally would and will buy csc because I prefer too ^^ and having more pets is loved, also the sales where the slots are half off are definitely worth it c:
even with regular prices, I still buy them when I can/want a pet name really bad or see one ufa I have been stalking or have an instant idea.

@Aeon : After checking the user dashboard area: it seems like one may be able to purchase 5 extra slots on top of the other, preexisting extra slots. For a total of 15 pet slots, not counting the loyalty totems.
