Weekend Quests
The Library is the weekend quest! Do those quests for increased prizes and special rewards!

I've been here 9 and a half years and completed hundreds of quests over all that time. I have a set way of questing that has worked fine for me all these years. I wasn't complaining about anything nor was I telling anyone what to do. I know how to do quests and I know when something isn't right with them. If we don't let staff know when there is problem with the quest line then how will they know what needs to be adjusted? I don't care about losing points since we are not supposed to able to complete every single one of them everyday. Nothing wrong with comparing the original subeta with the new one either sir. It's helps me to understand the new site changes and to gradually adjust to them. Many of us have been here since the beginning and have seen many a change come and go - some changes good and some not. If I said anything to upset you sir I sincerely apologize to you. Thank you kindly ^_^.

Im not complaining, just saying, I started with 100k exactly, and ended his quests with 55K, I only missed 1, and paid no more than 30k for any book most were 2k, BUT, the prizes were worth it, some of them are worth 100k, most are more than I paid for the quest item, so for me, its just a case of doing the work to get them priced in my shop.

His sP prizes are just sad, and this is coming from someone who doesn't spend much at all on his quests.

V V Speaking for myself I know how to do the quests and I never spend over even 5k because half the time this idiot gives out 20k and the other half he gives out 2k. This quest just sucks and nobody likes to be policed by other users on what they are and aren't allowed to complain about

There are increased prizes for the weekend quest: you have a chance at getting one of the 'game prize' books, as well as a chance of getting retired books. It might not be a huge reward, especially because the pool of retired books seems to be really small, and the game prize books are saturating the site, but it is an 'increase' and something that doesn't normally have the chance to be given. Perhaps there is also a small sP or item reward 'increase' as well, but it doesn't seem to be much, if any.
Granted, I do feel that the pool of prizes should be widened, or even changed to new items, but regardless, the 'increase' is definitely there.

Again, the fact that you don't know how to do Library Quests is why you're losing money instead of making it. I never spend more than 45k on a book for Alexander, and rarely lose sP.
If you aren't having fun and are only going to keep pining after a website which you feel is gone, then what is the point in staying? The time to stop is when you stop having fun.

I spent 97k for a book to get 25k back and a couple of junk items plus a shinwa bracelet piece.
The new subeta does things differently than the original subeta we all cared so much about. That seems to be the direction they want to go in so we have no choice but go along for the ride so to speak. The original subeta is completely gone now and a part of me will always miss it. Back when things were fun and simplified and everyone got along great together like one big happy family. What happened to all of that?
So the quest revamps turned out to be not as fun as we thought they would be. They get adjusted all the time and yes it does get very annoying at times. The new subeta changes took away things we have been allowed to do for years and replaced them with a scaled down version that takes a long time to adjust to. It's the exact opposite of the original subeta. I've seen 9 and a half years of site changes but I've never seen anything quite like this with the highest respect. All we can do is give the new subeta a chance and see what happens ^_^.

Another WE quest that doesn't have the promised "increased prizes". Had to quit most of them and the few I did complete had regular payout. I made more from Carl.

Just finished his quests and they weren't bad at all. I got a retired book some super rares ranging from 30k-100k+ I did lose money on 1 of the quests. After I finished I vended some books and some were ones he asked for so I'll have those if he asks tomorrow. Overall I don't mind Alexander, my issue is just how often the weekend quests end up being the same people.

wtf Subeta. It wasn't any good last week, and it probably won't be any better this week! How about we make the CURSED QUESTS weekend quests???

Good for you, I won't quit complaining, because the payout sucks. 2k rewards for books that cost 2.5 k IF you can get them from the main shop and not user stores. And my 'super duper rare items' was one wearable that cost 10k and a bunch of junk.

Got 100k sP profit, one retired book and a bunch of rare/super rare items. I'd say it was okay. Not a huge gain in my view, but still pretty pleasant.

I'd quit complaining. :P
If you don't play the Library Quests normally, then you have no idea how much you should be spending on them. Naturally, you're going to lose a profit that way. It isn't the staff's fault if you don't know how to play a certain quest. There are also some days when quests ask for really expensive items consistently. It sucks when that happens, but it happens.
And before getting up in arms and whining about how this will be as terrible as last weekend, ever consider the fact that the staff made improvements to the quests since then?
Lastly, it's pretty ungrateful to complain about a fun bonus like this. The staff don't have to do it. If the majority of the weekend quests make you guys complain, as they have for years now, I would simply get rid of them altogether. Likewise, if everyone decides to not play the weekend quest, what purpose is there in having them?
I, for one, am happy that Alexander is the weekend quest again. He's always good to me. <3

First day of this week's WQ, lots of valuable prizes....Eh, nothing to complain about here! ;)

Well, last weekend, I got quite a few rare items (selling for quite a bit) from the Library as WQ, so I dunno what everyone's complaining about. Seems worth it to me.

just as a clarification, I don't expect every weekend to be Wiz or Saggi, actually those would be bad right now as tokens are pretty deflated and super rares already inflated! i just think that this quest inflates books without giving any payback different than on a weekday. and I'm not wanting a SP prize either!
I'd suggest that the game prize books are retired, since they're really deflated, but new quest-only prizes would probably be added through the quest shop... so maybe the retired book pool should be switched out (those have been deflated ever since the Book Drive). or, since the Subeautique invites are really inflated, maybe the Librarian could make a deal with Esmeralde and have a chance of gifting you with an invite a la Quentin and the Mage?
just. something to make me excited about this quest! :)

not much of a "That means increased prizes!" but whatever. (Any idea on when the library might join the QP bandwagon?)

I still can't believe Computer Geek had to go and we kept horrible quests like this and Cinthia and Carl

Mediocre rewards, nothing really worth the time and sp spent. Didn't even look like WQ to be honest.

Guys, it can't always be wizzy or saggi or the one that makes the most profit for us.
Keith says it's randomized...not sure of that now that this happened.

Meh not again... Books are so inflated that even as WE quest they are not worth the efford and SP...

Not thrilled about Library Quests two weeks in a row, but hey, I just noticed the comment "heart"s work.

d-did the prizes increase i can't tell ^_^; no extra items or significant sp increase on my side...

Already got the achievement for Library so no real reason to do these when I barely have time to get the others done.

Seriously? There are like 9 different kinds of quests you guys can use for WQ and you do Library again? It was shoddy last week.
