They all have one thing in common: black and/or grey color scheme. Very monochrom choice.

@Jigglypuff The post said that staff would be picking the winners, and that post votes were just a very minor detail we'd be looking at :) This shouldn't be a popularity contest, when we judged we couldn't see attached usernames.
Congrats to all of the winners! Not going to lie, I'm pretty butthurt over not being a winner in this, especially when some of the winning looks are well, not as great as some others...

Really glad in the end votes didn't matter since the majority of votes went to those on the first few pages since no one was likely to comb through 25+ pages to vote.

I really liked Horrors and Trapinch's as well :D good job guys, thank you for picking mine too...I liked this contest (I know people are going to hate me for saying this) but I liked that it wasnt just based on the hearts you got on the forum...this is why, some people have a lot of friends, and there friends go and vote for them, regardless of what the contest is about...I have some friends yes...but it would make people not want to enter who dont have many, if it is almost like a popularity contest...does this make sense? I would say this rather I won something or not...
I loved a lot of the entries I saw...I noticed a lot of people put tons on makeup on guys eyes...is this lack of eyes? or are guys wearing makeup now? (I know stupid question...but I actually am kinda a shut in...do they?)

I went to try and make an outfit, but the wardrobe was so wonky while trying to use it, I got frustrated and gave up.
That, and I realized all too quickly that I pretty much only have female hair, eyes and lips...and clothes and pretty much everything I own is feminine. I guess there are just so many more female items, if you aren't worried about collecting the clothes yet, you don't get a lot of male things. Or maybe I did not try hard enough.
It just wouldn't load the things I would click on and entire categories would disappear after be clicked on once so if you wanted to do back to it...nope. Or it just wouldn't load the clothes. Or skins!!
BUT, I now have a list of male items to go for. Everything they wore!!

Regardless of my sour grapes butt hurt speech I do congratulate the winners they're all really lovely but I do think this was poorly organized and explained.
So the bit where the public voted by liking ha's was for a laugh then? Good to know our opinions on this site will never matter

Great choice of winners. Congratulations to all of you. I really enjoyed seeing the contestants. They were so varied and gave me ideas for male HAs. I have a hard time making them and don't do them often. Thank you for the contest. It was a wonderful idea.
Male HAs are not my best skill, so i opted out of this one. All of the entries look great though.
Its sort of funny how most of the winners used base mouths, and not some of the male delish ones. I do agree we need more that are with out lips, but there are also some really nice ones made already! They can just be uber spendy.

@Delirium I agree more male (or really just non-lipstick) lips that aren't sad need to exist on site.
I do really like the lips from the spf chapsticks from peka-boo, I just wish a few more of those kinds existed, lips that don't have color-shade on them.

This was an AWESOME first run at one of these things. So many great and well thought out entries, we can't wait to do it again with another theme!
