I'm so absolutely in love with the Mellow Raspberry Fondue. I'm so glad they won! Thank you to the CW makers that put the effort into making these. It's really wonderful to have a way to get some custom items for a smaller pricetag!

None of the items I voted for won. :x The winning items are all very nicely done though, just not the kind of things I think I would use. I wish some of the makeup had gotten through.

Let me add myself to those that are disappointed that there weren't more winners. If we voted for ten it was natural to expect 10 winners. It's awesome that a lot of those that didn't win are making their items CW's but.... no csc means no cw's for a lot of people. I can no longer afford to buy csc for anything other than a weekly gold medal and a rare CW occasionally. I know that there are many more people here on Subeta that it is virtually impossible for them to get CSC. *End rant*

I was disappointed that the wig that GreenRowan submitted and the shark that Debbilee submitted where not chosen. Both are being submitted as Cw's and yet two more items that will only be a pipe dream for me. It no longer amazes me what talented artists we have here on Subeta!

Congrats to all the winners. The only thing I wanted badly was the Fragments BG. I'm also glad the perfume bottle made it. I don't think I voted for any of the other winners, but my memory is shot, so I'm not sure.
I agree that it would be nice if the 6 items had been evenly divided between L'Amour's and the Zombie Den. I'm actually shocked that even 2 of what I voted for won since what I like isn't usually the most popular.
I will say (as many did) that I was hoping for 10 winners. I guess I'm like a "kid in a candy store" and naively didn't realize that fewer than 10 would win. It makes sense (sort of) that to chose 6 winners the voting has to be set up this way, so in the future I'd like to have the voting be "choose 15 and 10 will win."
One last thing: why was this called a CW contest? I'm glad these were NOT released as CW's since I don't spend money on them very often, but since these items are available for sP and candy hearts why was the contest named as such?

Also a good idea to put the participation prizes in the cash shop. This way, you make some extra cash, and it gives everyone the opportunity to get otherwise very limited items!

OMG, I'm so happy the mirror shard won, that was my fav item!! Actually I voted for 4 of these so I won't complain, but I'm really sad about that creepy smile (I can't remember the name, sovvy!!) cause it can't be submitted as CW,sigh sob. I am not disappointed any of the eyes/lips didn't make it, cause they were cute but not very dissimilar to those we already have onsite. But then again I use pretty much always the same eyes/lips so maybe I'm biased xD

Seconding TaterSalad's comment. There are definitely those of us out there who very much want unisex and male avatar items, but male-HA-makers are vastly outnumbered by female-HA-makers and our voices are never going to be heard in any contest where the userbase votes like this. Please can't there be some way to get some of those items on site too? Again, these are all wonderful and deserving winners, it's just...i'd like to see more of them to allow for more variety, so we could have the wigs and the dresses that the majority clearly desires but there would also be room for some eyes and mouths and things that EVERYONE can use...

And in answer to your question the bandage is in theme with the contest and the art is good quality so that's why lots of people voted on it and then it won. All the items that won were because of people's votes, clearly a lot of people really liked the bandage, so they voted for it.
@TaterSalad In an answer to your question, or well at least trying to, I believe a lot more females play subeta than males, which is why a lot more female wearables exist on site in general. Supply and demand. This isn't to say that you're not right, there is a greater need for male items, but the items that will sell and make it on site are the ones with the most interest and that's why female wigs are so popular. I mean I myself am addicted to wigs and more just keep coming out so I keep getting addicted. But I just don't think they can put a cap on how many wigs of a certain gender are released on site, that would cause too much drama at least in terms of CWs, in terms of on-site released items I think they try to regulate when they release female items to also release some male items which is why the hair coupons tend to be like x amount of more feminine wigs and x amount of unisex/masculine wigs, etc..

Judging from the feedback, I think the obvious answer is to allow facial items to be submitted as CWs now, yes? :D (I'm not really sure why there's such a restriction in the first place, but then again we had a restriction on body modifications at one point and that has been lifted, so we can hope, right?

None of my votes one... guess that save me some sP. I am completely shocked that stained glass thing didn't go through.. it just seemed like a definite. Oh well, I was never a good judge of taste of others anyway. :P I'm not really surprised about the eyes though... to be honest they were all gorgeous but I worried they were all going to fall into the "recolor" category. Although they weren't recolors, there were kind of two similar themes going between all the eyes (i.e. probably a lot of split votes).

Congrats to those 5 winners (since Cathii won for two items)though! The items are lovely and I scooped up a copy of each asap.
However, out of these 6 winning items, I only voted for 1 (the perfume...I need 3 copies which would be out of the question for me if it was released as a regular CW) and I find that I am quite disappointed that none of the lips or eyes made it through. I focused on voting for face items since those can't be made into CWs while everything else can. I guess if anything, this (plus Peka Boo) should send a loud and clear message that the users of Subeta really, really want CW face items other than make-up though since it felt like the majority of the 70 finalists were either eyes or lips/smiles. Maybe that was just my perception though...shrug.

The winning items are nice, but none are ones I voted for, so I'm disappointed too. I really loved a lot of the others. Like someone else said -- I think there were 6 or 7 I loved, and I threw my extra votes to items that were nice but I didn't need to have. I wouldn't have if I'd known there would only be 6 winners! If it's possibly to choose another 4 winners for this contest, I think people would be much happier.

Also, to anyone who thinks the perfume shouldn't have won, it actually looks really nice on top of a bg. On white/grey it doesn't show how nice it actually is. I too was unsure about it because to me it had a weird look to it, but it works much better with some background behind it. Great job to all the artists!

Had I known that there would only be six winning items, I would have stopped voting after my sixth favorite item. Honestly after I voted for a certain number of items I just had to have, I had some votes left over. So I used those extra votes for items I thought were nice but not necessarily items that I loved.
If you are going to give us 10 votes and then only choose six items you really need to say so. This was really bad hosting of a contest on your part and showing false advertising. Had we known that only six items would be made into official items I am sure not everyone would have used the full 10 votes.
In the future please do not try to mislead us and bait us with false pretenses for a contest, just communicate with us what is happening in the simplest way to avoid confusion and frustration.

Congratulations to all the winners. Wonderful work. I being a Fannibal totally voted for the shattered glass thing because it reminds me of the book Red Dragon, the movies Manhunter and Red Dragon. Also the coming season of Hannibal has cast a Francis Dolarhyde. I hope someday to get that item, but it is totally unfeasible for me now or maybe ever. I liked some more stuff that reminded me of Hannibal Lecter, but I can't recall just what they were. I liked some of the eye shadows too. :D. I thought everyone did very well. Secondly, I'll agree with some of the posts. I also believed the 10 votes we were given meant we had about 10 new items heading our way. :/ I guess that wasn't the case and it wasn't made clear.

I wish we could have a list of who submitted what (didn't think to save the info on the ones I liked the most) so that anything that wasn't a facial feature we can follow and see if it will be submitted as a CW.
I was also super confused by the small number of winners. 10 votes = 10 winning designs is what it seems everyone thought. I mean, we only had 5 votes for Peka-Boo and that had 10 winners.
Also categories next time? If its an event like this where its 2 different themes, definitely split those with X number of votes to be used for each theme - and also maybe split facial features (which we cannot convert into CWs - unless you plan to change that) from all other wearables so that we can maybe get some features as winners next time.

I must chime in with the others when I say I was pretty much expecting 10 winners. I am thoroughly surprised that more face items didn't win, and even more so surprised that only 2 of my votes went to winners. Regardless, congratulations to the winners, it was a stiff competition.

Tis as most predicted, recolours didn't make it through, likely because the votes were too split among them.
I think the fact that all the items were jumbled together means they were never going to split it evenly between the two, but it would've been nice to have 5 for each shop :/ Still, congrats to all the winners! I like all the ones that won, they weren't necessarily the ones I voted for (I especially wanted the pink room back ground and wings to win) but a few were and the rest are really cool. I do think that next time it should be clearer how many are going to be made into items as i was also under the impression we were getting ten items. I also would have liked to see an even split between the two shops so if not five in each then three or four from each. The uneven split is kind of uncool for people who are more fond of either zombie or sweetheart style items. That said I am still happy with how this turned out overall.

I definitely wish we could have had more winners, but i do feel that the winners were evenly split between lovey and zombie even though the dress is in Skitter's Den...i think it's more of a L'Amour style (the description including mention of the undead notwithstanding) because it's not actually rotten-looking or anything, it's cute and pretty. I feel like they put the majority of items in the Zombie Den just because they cost sP there (i.e. bigger sP sink). But really, you want more of an sP sink? Put ALL THE CREEPY EYEBALLS in the Den and i will buy them ALL for 100,000 or whatever you wanna ask, each. Multiples even, because some of those items were amazing for TCs too!

I'm truly not the biggest HA and wearables person, but still. I do find it kind of odd that there are only six winners (which are all fabulous items, btw.) Look past the fact that we had ten votes; there were a ton of wearables to choose from in the first place. All of those entries were narrowed down to only six? The combination of allowing us ten votes and the number of items to vote for makes it seem like there should've been more than just six winners.

I'm really disappointed with the outcome :( First of all, only two of the items I voted for won. Second of all, we got 10 votes, so I was looking forward to 10 winning items, and I wanted all of the items I voted for badly. Now we got 10 votes but only 6 winning items that we can purchase? I read this in other comments, and I also expected an equal share of 5 lamour items and 5 for skitters. Which brings me to my 3rd point - I voted for 6 or 7 lamour items and 4 or 3 skitters items max. Now we got 2 lamour items and 4 skitters items. 2 of the skitters items I voted for were winners and none of the lamour items. Of course there's nothing I can do about the rest of the users not sharing my tastes, but I do feel that if there were 5 lamour items and 5 skitters items, there would probably be 2 or 3 lamour items that I would want to have...

I know of a few of the items that were submitted, but obviously a lot of the eyes and lips can't be submitted as CWs (though the makeup of them could be submitted as a CW which isn't the same thing but it's close).

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the winners, but like others said, why only 6? I still think there should have been 5 for den and 5 for parlor. There were so many lovely items, at least in my opinion anyways.
Also, I'm sad that the cat/animal tail, frill seekers dress, and jelly fish wig weren't up there :c Lots of lovely items but those were my top three.

I'm sad none of the creepy eye things made it (i really wanted that dangly eyeball) but the winners are all fantastic and deserving. I did vote for that Fragments background so i'm very happy to be able to get it.
