Im so happy my friend told me look at the free gift. as someone heavily into taxidermy and the community I almost choked to death at this item as a whole and then ITS WEARABLE. And it reminds me so much of all the horrific soft mounts I see on deviantart. Oh sweet jesus I love you guys and whoever made this item deserves an award

It seems we live in a time of people getting offended by life in general. Aren't we lucky it is also a time where most of have the freedom to be offended and to express such. If the fox offends you, simply don't click on it and don't collect it or better yet put it in one of your shops and sell it on to someone that thinks it is great and will love it for the intent it was meant. Or notify me that you think is the worse possible thing on earth and you are packing it up and sending it my way. I love the fox, and think some of us need to put our big girl panties on. opens my door for all the foxes headed my way

I'm not familiar with the meme this gift is referring to, but I laughed so hard at those bad taxidermy pictures, especially the cheetah, holy crap. That needs to be my phone wallpaper, somehow.
Taxidermy is a point of fascination for me, as a bone + general dead stuff collector, and bad taxidermy is one of my absolute favorite things.

@tinypixelninja - I'm vegan, and i'm neither offended by nor "afraid of" this item. In fact, i quite like it (i'm also a fan of the fetus items, graveyard pets and other similarly morbid things - it's not like any real animals were harmed for anything on this site so i find no cause for concern). Just so you know, we really aren't all constantly angry and looking to be irrationally offended by everything, so please reconsider your assumptions. :)

As someone who has actually been trained in taxidermy and who has a deer head they made in their house...this makes me so happy. Irl I love seeing the worst ones. To me it's just looking at it and thinking...how did this happen? This is my favorite item on this site by far now. Also really if you are upset by this how...are you even still on this site after all the "crude" and "cruel" things this site has produced? Meme or not it's funny. (Not saying my work was perfect, the deer I have that is smirking at people in my living room)

@Rah - I feel the same way! It makes me so happy when I'm able to salvage a roadkill animal and make it beautiful again. I like to think that their spirits appreciate the love and care, too. I also have plenty of other animals that weren't roadkill, and they enjoy going shopping and attending public events with me. My foxes are a huge hit with kids, lol~

I mostly adore my fox tail ones, only because when I'm at school and I'm missing my dogs, I pet the fur on the fox tail since my dogs have very fluffy tails and it helps me to calm down during a big test cough midterm cough And I told my mom that when my dogs pass away, I want their tails XD. I don't find it creepy or anything to want to keep a piece of my dogs whos brought me love ad joy, but eh, some people may find it weird.

@Pipkitten - I'm just getting into taxidermy, too! I love it so much. I always find that it's like taking something that nobody really cares about (roadkill, generally) and putting your own love and care into it so that it matters again. You learn from it, it doesn't just rot away on a roadside. And eventually, maybe your work will be in a museum and people will be able to learn about animals they'd never have a chance in seeing.
I need it.

I am a taxidermist, and now I absolutely need a whole bunch of these poor critters. Reminds me a bit of my first projects, haha.
