    Introducing Spectrail, Subeta's first Flash Game! Help Iris the feli escape her bad dream, and try to earn the highest score!

    Since this is the first flash game, you should know that Gold Account users get 10 score sends per day, and normal accounts get 5.

    Final Note: The achievement for being in the top 10 on the high score list will be given out at midnight, and won't start until tomorrow night! That gives everyone a fair chance to get their scores in .

    The collision mechanics seem MUCH better today. Or I'm getting better at it. But it does seem you can get next to the wall w/out dying so that's an improvement!

    To be honest the game is nothing special, just a snake clone. However, I'm perfectly willing to consider it an experiment with flash gaming which is great in itself. I do realise that flash is inherently hackable but at the same time you can do so many wonderful thing with it and create fast paced games to even out all the "click, click, click" we have in the form of quests, mind reader etc. I hope the hackers aren't going to be too many and it will prove a success.

    I do have a question, though.

    I played and received a score that I submitted (just now) and that qualifies me for the top 10, therefore qualifying me for the achievement. So, my question is: how long do the scores take to process?

    Hmm, I have a good computer/ net setup and notice a slight lag at times - nothing major.
    Also, sometimes the spectrum puddles appear too close to the walls (or in them) and it's impossible to collect them without dying.
    I've also noticed (sometimes) you die before actually hitting a wall (a good space or two away from them), which is very frustrating.
    Otherwise - it's a good first flash game ^^

    Also I noticed no lag - but I have a pretty good system at the moment. It does seem like the edges come out more than they should, the collision rate is too soon it seems. But thats my opinion.

    tbh I never expected Subeta to ever get a flash game, but color me pleasantly surprised by this one. All puns aside, I'm with a number of other people: either it's my laptop/connection, or the game has brief bouts of lag (though with 900+ people on, it could be everybody having a go at the game?).

    It could just be my crapty laptop, but the game seems to react fairly slow, and lags a bit.

    Congrats on your first Flash game. Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be my favorite one!!! VERY cute story and artwork. I LOVE her tail all fluffed up at the game over screen. Great work to all involved. I would like to know if the cheating question has been answered. I could never get close to the hi scores posted on Neopets. I mean, not even in the same ball park, but I would just play for fun anyway.

    The game is fantastic and happy to have a flash game on Subeta but not pleased about some achievements depending on your ability to play the game - too much Neopets in my opinion. (accumulative is great). I suck at games like this and seems to me that the easy level is still way too fast to get any decent score.

    I remember Keith saying there wouldn't be any flash games because cheating on them was so easy, the highscores ended up being "fake". Does this game mean the cheating problem has been resolved? I love the game, but have to agree with people that say that SP wise it's not worth playing. For the fun, thouh, it's great.

    Awesome, thanks. Anyway, in response to the game I only really have one critique: The amount you receive from it sp wise as a prize, although sufficient enough for newcomers who don't have much, isn't really enough to keep my interest in playing the game long term; I'm only really playing it now because it's new and pretty. I mean technically the amount is reasonable, but when you compare that to how easy it is to make money on Subeta, it's definitely not worth playing the game as a way to make sp.     I've never played the original snake game, so I wasn't aware it also originally had power ups and blockades. (I thought it was just getting stuff and trying not to run into your own trail xD)

    Can I just point out that flash games do not ruin websites. And Meerca Chase is actually based on the game Snake which has been around since the 70s? Just trying to be preemptive to the numbnut that will inevitably come along and say Subeta is turning into Neopets.

    I love how all these people are like "HERPADERP MEERCA CHASE" when both games were based on another, older game.

    That aside, the game is cute (though I find that my character doesn't completely line up with the little color blobs and the clouds, making it hard to judge where to turn) and I may spare some time playing, though it's not that exciting for me.

    Also, I LOVE the description on the Sterling Plushie. <3!
