I'm only dissapointed in that I wasn't able to participate enough to get so many epic items. I would pay in cash shop credits in order to get some of the items they have up for restock points, but I have almost none. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> And I SOOO badly want the Duel Wig.

The Mock Mox (insert jewel here) Cards are amazing. Not as wearables...but as a reminder of M:TG!!! OMG I remember opening a pack and getting a Mox Ruby....wow.

Keith, let me borrow a text book from someone and I'll send a couple of examples to you. We did an entire section on fair proportions with distributing votes/points in a Mathematics in Contemporary Issues class I took. Did you know that depending on the way you decide to count votes and/or points, you can take the exact same data and twist it in at least four different directions? It's really nifty.

I've been on Subeta for over 3 years now and this is the first time I've actually participated in a restock war. I had a BLAST! Thank you Subeta for making this one of the best websites around. The prize shop is teeming with amazing items. I was actually able to get everything I wanted and a few extras for resale. I can't wait for the next restock war!

Subeta, you once again KICK ASS on a fun and rewarding event!! and I am happy that I spent the time I did RSing, totally worth it, although if I knew how awesome the prize selection would be I would have slept less and stocked more, damn!

I can't help being jealous of the VIP lounge access (like someone else said, I also thought the Nico icon was so freaking adorable that I joined his team) but what can you do, congrats Manwar players, you did quite a job of crushing the competition!

Next year: Different Method of Counting Points

I could go into all the ins and outs of why this is a bad way to count points, but I don't really feel like grabbing all my class notes right now. xP Basically, there's a lot of actual mathematical data and psychological data that can be used as an argument against counting the points like you did here. (Yay for liberal arts education? =D )

Ok first of all I'd like to post what a fun event this was considering i started relatively late in the game (basically 6 days to get ~11k points).
Second of all I'd like to thank the artistic staff whom apparently went well above and beyond expectations in terms of post-plot shops. (Even though I can't see the VIP shop, I can already tell how much work went into the main shop alone) You guys truly pulled off one heck of a timetable.

This is why I can go away for a year and come back and still be thoroughly enjoying my experience here. Cheers to the winners and of course the staff for the event!

I think that this kind of sucks. Last year there was nothing special for the winning team. As well as the fact that the Islanders, the losing team can still get their faces painted but Pirates can't. It feels as if I have been on the losing team for two years now. This year the winners get a special shop and the other team does not.

The only reason why Manwar won is because they DIDN'T have so many people. More people on Nico's side meant there were more people to divide the total points by.
