"Silvar!" the slender woman called, looking around. That silly princess had run off again! Vaira couldn't understand why the girl couldn't stay still. She didn't think it should be this hard. Yet the girl had a love of running off like this. She sighed, and looked around. Nothing for it. "Well, I guess I won't teach her about what I had planned. What a shame! It was going to be really fun!" she said, her voice purposefully loud.

Sure enough, a little coppery head popped up from behind one of the ornamental bushes as Vaira started to turn away. The woman smiled, looking back at her. For all of the girl's powers, strong enough that she would eventually be able to level the entire castle, plus the town around it, she was still just a little five year old girl at heart. Forced to mature quickly due to that immense mage power lurking inside her, and the traumatic events that had stolen her mother away, but at heart, she was a little girl.

"Vaira! I'm still here! I want to know the fun thing!" she said, running out after her. Barefoot, as always, with the dirt from the bushes staining the bottom of her dress, she looked up at Vaira.

Vaira couldn't help but smile. "Alright. I'm going to teach you how to make mageglass today, alright?" she said with a smile, considering how far the princess had come. Vaira herself had been in her early teens when her teacher had deemed her ready for this, and she had been gifted. Silvar was better than she'd ever be. Vaira had shown her first signs of the mage gift at the age of three, moving the fire in her home. Silvar had used fire and water as her toys when she was still a newborn, showing an instinctive control.

As always, Silvar picked up the new lesson with astonishing speed, making a sparkling sun out of the magic glass within the first half hour. She giggled, and lifted a hand to take it out of the air. "Now what?" she asked, her bright blue eyes looking up at her teacher and nursemaid.

"Now send it up to my tower, little one, and I'll introduce you to someone who lives here." Silvar would enjoy meeting Alianna, and the nymph had so little company... The sun whisked away through the air, and Vaira nodded. Silvar would deliver it safely through the castle and in to the tower. Hopefully she didn't frighten any of the servants. Again. "To meet this person, you need to have a gift for her."

"What kind of gift?"

"Something pretty. She likes pretty things."

Silvar gave it a moment's thought, and after a minute's work, was holding a mageglass rose, with the petals delicately colored red, and the stem and leaves a delicate green. Vaira nodded, and took the girl over to the lake.
