Malana doesn't remember much of his childhood. He was very distant from his parents.

Going out after curfew, just to look at the night sky. He felt a connection with the night. It was always so peaceful for him.

On his 18th birthday, he left his family. Searching for the different stars. He became a drifter, not staying at one place for more than a week.

About 4 years later, he made his way to a beach-y place. Seeing the sky above the water. He found a new place to actually call... "home".

While setting up to live there, he met one of the locals. Kahana.
He seemed to have felt a strong connection as soon as he laid eyes on him. The way he connected with the water, it almost felt magnetic.

Lana learned the waves and gazed up at the stars every night. Seeing dozens of shooting, glimmering, and even exploding. The sound of the waves making it even more peaceful.

'I can see why you like this.' Seeing the waters reflection in Kahana's eyes. 'Maybe I have found my forever home...'
