Once upon a time there lived a girl who loved stars. Like many other girls she wanted to have one of her own.

She tried many things to accomplish owning a star including building the tallest ladder but no matter what she came up with or what she tried to do, she could never really have a star.
She wanted many stars. In fact she craved for the sun, the most gigantic star in the universe. As fantasy continued to strike her mind she imagined living amongst those stars being able to shine as their shiny aura gleamed across her skin. "Wouldn't it be wonderful?" she thought to herself.

One day while laying on the floor drawing her dreams of stars as usual, something happened. Suddenly she felt a daze and there out of nowhere she was among various pretty shimmering stars. She began running and laughing. This was true happiness to her. She counted for hours all the stars around her, and somehow they were miraculously jumping with her and chasing her. Luminary was overwhelmed with happiness. She could go on like this forever.

What intrigued her so much?. Well nobody knew. Maybe it was her unusual birth mark on her face that resembled a star. Or perhaps it was only just coincidence...
The world never understood her, she was quite unique in almost every aspect. Others wondered if she came from another world. Or perhaps in truth she did come from another place. Luminary was clever beyond her age and peculiar ways , very clever indeed.

As she sat there one day counting the stars over and over again, something suddenly happened-her eyes became fogged with a white mist. She closed her eyes to avoid any of it from getting into her eyes and once she opened them; she realized she was back in her room on her floor. There was drool on her drawings and a broken yellow crayon and she realized she was back on earth and then she began to feel sadness. She no longer wanted to be on earth. Luminary wanted to live in the galaxy she knew that somehow she wasn't human at all.

She wore a long peach shirt that had the longest sleeves anyone would ever wear, she didn't wear shoes and her bow was almost as big as her head and what was worst was the big mark on her eye yellow and the shape of a star. She was constantly laughed at and ridiculed and no matter how unique Luminary really was. She had no friends. None at all. But even with all those negative things eating at her. Luminary was a happy child. Just looking up at the stars at night would make her smile and every day she traveled far to be in places where their was night even in the day. She admired anything that resembled a star.

After waiting and wondering if her dream was a dream at all, she noticed changes in her skin and all. Her eyes grew big and her birth mark was lite brightly-but little did she realize this was her true form-a cat a fox? she didn't know what at all. Her ears so long and her snout short, her body long and her tail big and poofed with many magical designs on her body-Luminary was at a loss for words, her mind began to expand and to her surprise she could still talk the language of her original parents. But where were these parents? She wondered. Her head began to hurt and her eyes had turned pitch black. She finally knew who she really was.

Not a girl after all- the thoughts of this world were to make her strong. To prove to her origin clan that she was able to take over the galaxy. You see Luminary was special, and never really odd. But no one understood, none of them at all. She was magically in all her ways, and that very day she began her new life. The girl among the stars.
