La pluie commence à tomber, c'est une grâce éternelle et elle comporte les plus tendres reflets.

Rain begins to fall; it is an eternal grace and it has the most delicate reflections.

An owl was sitting on a branch in the rain. The blue owl seemed bold and unshakable.
The owl had always loved the rain. It's smell, the feeling in the air, the reflections in the rain drops - but most of all it loved the moment right before the rain starts.
Pluie took a deep breath and inhaled the moist air. He always enjoyed the quiet moments. The owl spread it's wings and took the rain away.

In the ancient times the Mayan god Tlaloc gave some of his powers to the birds. It was a punishment for them for being so vain and boastful/arrogant. One bird was chosen to carry the duties until he died. The moment he died a hatching birdling was destined. Every bird knew this old tale yet no one thought it would be true.

La pluie seule est divine, c'est pourquoi quand les orages secouent sur nous leurs grands parements, nous jettent leur bourse, nous esquissons un mouvement de révolte qui ne correspond qu'à un froissement de feuilles dans une forêt.

Plain rain is divine; that is why when storms shake their great ornaments over us, and throw us their purse, we mage a vague gesture of revolte which is comparable only to a rustle of leaves in the forest

When Pluie was born he looked like the other owls. But after some days his feathers began to turn blue. At first his parents didn't see any relation between him turning blue and the rain. The rain became more and more intense over the days. One morning they saw that even his yellow eyes had turned blue.

Pluie was playing in the rain. It rained all day long. His parents were staring at them from above.
«Do you think it is true?» «I'm afraid it is... He is cursed.»
After they had chased the young owl away the rain disappeared aswell.

Pluie had never thought of the rain as a curse.
