Kite is stubborn. Kite has found herself in the middle of a fight between two supernatural beings who apparently think it's funny to involve humans in their ridiculous squabble. A certain time traveling automaton working for the goddess of time is relying on her to be the one that helps him in his quest to vanquish some time traveling demon for reasons he will not disclose. Unsurprisingly, Kite just wants a normal life and nothing to do with it. She might be selfish, but hey, why are they relying on her anyhow? There are plenty of other fish in the sea.
