Beware the Count! He lurks among the shadows, plotting doom for the young children of World! One night a year, he creeps out from his decrepit mansion to haunt all the young trick-or-treaters. He waits until they turn away, caught up in all the little ghosts and ghouls. Then he pounces, grabbing all of their candy for himself! He leaves cities of children crying out in loss, for there is never enough candy to satisfy the Candycorn Count!
Once, when he was just reaching adolescence, his uncle Fenton brought him candycorn all the way from Centropolis. From the moment the sugary sweetness hit his tongue Cadoc knew he needed more. His appetite for candy grew with him. Continually dissatisfied with the candy of the Lasiri, he started sneaking out early in the evening before his parents could wake up, desperate for lollipops and taffy and chocolate balls. It started to feel like no matter how much candy he consumed, he was never satisfied.
As an adult he learned strategy, it was at this time he devised what would be his greatest candy scheme. Cadoc learned patience. He let all the young Subetans go door to door, gather oodles of candy in their buckets and pillow cases. Then when the bags were full he would swoop in, gathering tons of candy in mere seconds!
