... The man was found in his home, strangled with what police are stating is a nylon guitar string. Police have yet to release the man's identification, but have said that certain vital organs are missing from the crime scene. His liver, intestines, and heart appear to have been surgically taken from his chest. Chief Officer Gary Nicht urges everyone to be careful; an act of malice is sure to be followed by another.

Mar. 15, 1962

The bodies of 27 year-old Amelia Tisch and her boyfriend, David Foster, 26, were discovered Monday morning in their studio apartment. Tisch was apparently strangled with piano wire, while her boyfriend appeared to have been beheaded. The head was not on the premises. Police continue their search. There seems to be a connection between the February murder of Robert West and this case, says Chief Officer Gary Nicht. It is believed that all three victims had recently made purchases from a local record shop, although Police would not disclose the details.

Nicht encourages everyone to be on high alert and to report any suspicious behavior immediately. Travel in groups and do not go anywhere alone.
