Past: Life was fairly normal growing, being an only child she had all of the books and entertainment she could ask for. Her parents weren't around much and when they were they threw money at her rather than try and talk to her but she never really was one to fall back on the 'mommy and daddy never hugged me' excuse for being miserable. She liked reading and figuring out puzzles, no matter if it was a word problem or figuring out how to make a solar panel (a project she had during the summer in 4th grade of her own volition). She graduated high school at 14. Instantly she was interested in the field of psychology and figuring out how the mind works. Specifically how the mind of a psychopath functions, and it was then that her father decided to take her on a trip to one of his friends places of work hoping she might be interested in seeing how a lawyer works and maybe get her to join the family business. Unfortunately for him his friend was a police officer and she was hooked on every word out of his mouth.
At 18 she had graduated at the top of her class and immediately joined the police academy against her parents wishes. Now 23 years old she has a reputation of complete dedication to her work and even though her usual methods have gotten her a lot of flack, the results can't be ignored. She is undoubtedly a prodigy.
