Yuri SilverWind is the first-born son of Archfox, and is the more laid-back of the two"Guardian Children". His elemental powers consist of water and air, which is in great contrast with his little sister, Chelinka. He never really takes anything seriously, but can be harsh, intimidating, and, sometimes, wise, when he wants or needs to. His sign is the moon, and he has the power to control it with his sword, Willhowl.

As a young night elf, he was raised by his mother, Archfox, with his little sister. His mother's friend, Axel, pretended to be his father, and he never questioned it. However, certain circumstances made him get sent to Stormwind, the human capital of the Alliance, and home of his grandfather, General Similcresh. There, he met a wind spirit Liam(who later turned out to be Kion). Unfortunately, during his last adventure, a nightmare named Joker destroyed his home, along with his grandfather. So, he was sent to Ironforge, home of the dwarves and gnomes. He was cared for by Blokin Stonebeard, who affectionately called him "Dream boy". Yuri, in turn, just called him "Stonebeard".
